I have used OEM carburetor kits and still had a slight bubbling around the gaskets. Could be the kits are old or maybe the temperature needs to be higher so the material softens and compresses correctly. I figure with exposure to fuel, time and heat cycles of the saw they will come around ok? Some pearls given to us in this video, you have to be a real careful detective in carburetor work because aftermarket parts are NOT always dependable.

Had the same problem on my super EZ. Just like you said would pop then flood out. After taking it apart for the 3rd time I realized that nub was way too tall. Put the original back in and ran great.

Sent you a new freebie Walbro carb kit since I don't need it. Could have the part you need.

Where do you order your homelite/walbro parts from? I have an HDC 65 that I need a diaphragm for. The one I have has the huge nub that you've mentioned.

I tend to surf Ebay for OEM kits in Walbro packaging.

Would it be possible to grind down the nub?
