Yes it would be the invidia racing series cat back exhaust from rallysport. I may just save up for the accessport first and then start doing mods on the car. But thank you for the info I’m kind of a nooby and modifying cars so this really helps thank you!
Sounds good, I just got my aps downpipe and exhaust installed, waiting on cobb uppipe to come in so I can finish putting mine together and hope it sounds good
I'm located in Alabama. I have a buddy of mine who imports subarus and also buys crashed /broken subaru. This setup came off an auction car. Hell of a steal for 400 for a full exhaust on a rare find 🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@Supertuner yea I'm super excited! I had a leak in the flex section of my uppipe so I had to replace that, just got my cobb uppipe and new gaskets in today. Weekend can't get here soon enough!
I have a stock Subaru 2003 WRX no cobb accessport can I install this exhaust without the tune or will it mess up my car .. thanks man I’m really good friends with your family too!
Colin! What’s up man :) first, are you talking about installing a cat back exhaust without a tune? Or a full turbo back? If just cat back and no other mods like (intake, bob, boost controller) you are good without a tune. If you’re installing a turbo back, an intake a bov or boost controller you would need a tune. If you plan to go past a cat back exhaust it’s good to just get an accessport and do mods under the off the shelf map or don the mods you want and get a custom accessport tune at ignition logic.
HEY MAN! Hope I didn't forget that in the dyno tune video ...... Now I can't recall lol. It is tuned on pump 91 and made 340WHP on a mustang dyno at Ignition Logic in salt lake city. May be tuning a second map for e85 in the future now that i have a 91 oct. map and could switch back and forth.
Just bought one of these bone stock, considering how lucky I was to find a stock one with lower miles i think I'm going to see how many miles itll go before i have to put a full STI drivetrain in it
hey would it be possible to send a list of what you’ve got in your subie? like everything aftermarket, i’m tryna build my 2006 wrx but i’m lost on what parts to get or anything like that. it would mean a lot thank you ❤️
Does it fully stock WRX and a fully stock WRXSTI make the same exhaust sound like rumble and like the actual sound or do the two cars sound right different stock
I’m not sure if it would fit but I’m sure you could ask customer support at rallysport. It would t give you any performance but would probably sound good!
My friend had a 2012 Impreza with this exhaust and headers it was loudddd asfff and popped like crazy might have to take it to a muffler shop to get it fitted
That’s kind of a blanket statement. It relay depends on what mods and on what car. Generally if you do a mod you need a tune. For something like a cat back exhaust though you don’t.
So under acceleration, you are hearing a lot of different things on my car. Your hearing a combination of an equal length header, precision 58/58 turbo, external wastegate and dump and the 3" downpipe with the invidia cat back. This cat-back on a stock car will resemble the sound you hear in the video but will not be the exact same, especially without an ewg and el header. love the exhaust tho and recommend it from Rally sport!
@@Supertuner say what!? you don't love the boxer rumble? ah man. hey what's your thoughts on access port tune vs street tune? assuming both ways would be done by a skilled mechanic..... is the access port worth the money?
John Douglass I'll help ya out since he hasn't responded back to you yet. I think you may be a little confused just from how you've asked your question. An access port allows you to tune your car via a map. There's 2 ways you can go about obtaining a map. One way is called an Off the Shelf (OTS) map. In general, these are the types of maps you should stay away from as they're very generic maps based off of your year, make, model & various tunes that you may have (ie. 2004 Subaru WRX with a ram intake & turbo back exhaust). They don't take into consideration of your location such as your altitude, humidity, average weather temperature, the amount of wear on your car's parts, etc. The most ideal type of map to get is that of a pro tune. Pro tunes can be built 2 different ways: 1 - have your car ran on a dyno (dyno tuned) or 2 - the shop will have you drive your car around while data logging it with your access port (street tune). Then after data logging the street tune, you'd email the map to the shop and you'll continue to go back and forth with the shop until it's dialed in to your liking. So to answer your question on whether or not an access port is necessary. The answer is it depends. It depends on which mods you've made. If you've modded something which has the potential to alter your air/fuel ratio, then yes it's beneficial to get an access port. You don't want your car to run too much air than fuel or vise versa. Not only will you hurt the car but it will suffer performance wise as well. Hope this helps!
Best thing to do is watch videos and compare. But realize there is more that goes into the way a car sounds than if it has a single dual or quad tip exhaust.
The sound you’re hearing are a combination of all exhaust and turbo components as well as a higher rev limit of the built engine. Mostly you’re hearing the cat back invidia, equal length headers and waste-gate.
people wonder why the motors dont last long. cause you got dummys like him with out a built motor just banking the rev limiter and then flying up and down the street
Ha ha ha c’mon man! So you know everything now??? It is a built engine and is the same built engine I’ve been running since 2009... soooooo you can rip on me hitting rev limiter and blowing up engines all you want I guess 😂😂😂
