David Ledbetter=Legend...what a simple concept, but so easy to get wrong. Also love that quote, "So you waggle, so shall you swing". I need to remember that out of the course!
Straight away. I started doing the takeaway, pause to check everything and then start my swing from there. The ball does start more on the desired line. Thanks James! Happy Open week!
Hi James I have been watching your videos for 6-8 months. I can say that you have helped me so much scores improving but more so my strikes have been much improved thank you
Straight Away looks simple and I love how you can hit full shots with it. I deffo flip the club in early… difficult habit to break.. would be ideal to win this item.
I have/had given up on golf in recent years as my gentle draw has/had turned into a vicious snap hook. I had always been taught to have my toe up at “take away”. This lesson seems to be very much opposite to that. Can’t wait to take this to the range/course and see the results. 👍🏼👍🏼
As a 'leather-beaten,' veteran swing coach, I enjoy browsing 'U of Tube,' ( my name for this amazing info medium ) to see who is teaching what because hey ... you never know, right? James Robinson is one of my fave 'Tube' coaches for more reasons than you have time to hear me 'dribble on' about. Suffice it to say he has my total confidence when it comes to helping all levels of amateurs who view his vids. I also applaud the years of love that David Leadbetter has devoted to this captivating, enigmatic 'game' called, Golf. I felt compelled to weigh-in after hearing David reiterate what I've been telling students for years: Staying connected thru the 'swing,' & making sure one's mass is brought into the ball as you release your wrists near impact. I also urge my students to convert to a more square to square swing method ( introduced by the late Mike Austin ) as it is a much more precise way of hitting targets. I've taken still shots of Dustin Johnson, Victor Hovland, long drive champ Kyle Birkshire & Cam Smith, with each one at the top of their backswings & each still reveals that they use the square to square method off the tee. Me?...I use it all the time, so this might be taken into serious consideration for all of you. I'd recommend Mike Malaska ( here on U of Tube ) if you want to pursue this target-oriented method. Peace.
Straight away. Good video James. The original lesson is one I have gone back to a few times prior to a trip to the range as I am one of those golfers who have a tendency to take the club behind in spite of thinking I am not.
Straight Away. I have to say the original video with Mr. Leadbetter was one of the best tips videos you have put out. Been using that technique and it has definitely helped my game.
I’ve always struggled with the club head getting behind me early in the takeaway. This training aid would help my golf game and the players on my golf team.
Straight Away It's always great to see a good golfer promoting an aid for better shots because if someone like James is advocating a training device it must be worth a try. Great video
STRAIGHT AWAY I have seen him coach quite a few players and find him to be very good and easy to listen and learn from. Would love one of those straight aways!
Great video of the straight away and it’s uses, love that it can be used on the course too!! Nothing better than grass practice! Is it heavy and does it alter the clubs weight? Love it and I’ll watch the first video as soon as possible!
Ordered this a couple of weeks ago after watching your 1st video. Just waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime I have focused more on this move and finally got my swing back to my lower handicap. Thx for sharing. Ric
I really think practicing with this twice a week would really help my game. I'm an 11.6 handicap now with the goal of being single digits by the end of the year.
Straight away. James and Chris, love all the content. Been seeing this over here in US for a few weeks and was waiting until you had to review. Missed you at the Open.
Straight Away. I struggle with bad take away often. If I don't consciously do drills to train the right feel, I go back to rolling my wrists open. Great follow up video to your lesson with DL. Looking forward to seeing your second lesson with him.
I’m not a big fan of training aids but I did try this and it helps, you do need to keep working with it as part of your warmup but the results are worth it. Thanks again James!
Hey James. Thank you for doing a video and reviewing the Straight Away! I have been seeing in online and been trying to work on the theory without having the device. will definitely be looking at getting one.
I've been working on this move since I saw the first video and it has improved my golf. A strait away would certainly help me to continue working on it. Great video as always James.
Straight Away. Watched David use a prototype of this aid with the Good Good boys at the Callaway launch event earlier in the year. Looks really interesting.
I like the look of it and the easy installation of it. Looks like it could help me with my slice lol. Let see a side by side of you playing with it and without it.
Straight away - I watched your initial video on this training aid - subsequently tried to incorporate the correct take away technique into my swing with some success. However time and fading memory have lost the early gains.
James, food for thought, when you swing back with the practice aid and attention there is less wrist set and motion but when you make your swing you're setting your wrists right away. Just focus on turning your shoulders without a wrist hinge for the feeling. I realize I'm nobody, but it's something I noticed, just an FYI.
I think that overhead view from your analyzer is amazing and unbelievably under rated ,so much information ,path, takeaway, impact, follow thru , how much power is lost by an off center strike or bad path?, it would be interesting to see the difference and impact to the results, what if you had no twisting of the clubbed at impact?
Watched your lesson with David Ledbetter when you first used the training aid looks even better the second time around would love this to help my golf playing of 21 i am64 years old need all the help I can get😂
Watching Davids instruction has made the most significant improvement in my game.Great content James!
David Ledbetter=Legend...what a simple concept, but so easy to get wrong. Also love that quote, "So you waggle, so shall you swing". I need to remember that out of the course!
Got one of these about 2 weeks ago...it has shot up to the top of the list of best training aids for me and my swing. Highly recommended.
this makes more sense now than watching the informecial I watched for it, love the idea of the help on the short game
Straight away. I started doing the takeaway, pause to check everything and then start my swing from there. The ball does start more on the desired line. Thanks James! Happy Open week!

STRAIGHT AWAY thanks again for the great video with David Leadbetter. That video was very enlightening.
Straight away, that would fix my random swing generator wrist flick.
Keep up the good work , cheers

Straight Away. Remember watching David Leadbetter training videos on VHS back in the day. Now you've got to put all his tips to good use, James.

Straight away. That was a drill I have been working on since that video. Thanks for the content.
I’m not a big fan of training aids but I did try this and it helps, you do need to keep working with it as part of your warmup but the results are worth it. Thanks again James!
Back to golf after 3/4 away, watching alot of Pete Cowens stuff and the Straightaway looks 👌🏼
Hey James. Thank you for doing a video and reviewing the Straight Away! I have been seeing in online and been trying to work on the theory without having the device. will definitely be looking at getting one.
Straight away- I try to watch my clubheads in my irons to make sure im on the right path, but this aid seems great to keep the club on the right path
Straight away. That was an amazing training video. I was hitting my best shots of the year after watching that video.
Love your videos James!Planning to add the Straight away, right away
I've been working on this move since I saw the first video and it has improved my golf. A strait away would certainly help me to continue working on it. Great video as always James.
Straight away. Looks like a really useful and simple concept. Think that could help a couple of friends too!
Straight Away. Watched David use a prototype of this aid with the Good Good boys at the Callaway launch event earlier in the year. Looks really interesting.
A training aid that provides easy visual feedback for the position of the club in the backswing. Nothing to complicated to cloud the mind.
Straight away. Keep up the good work. I’m learning so much from your channel.
I like the look of it and the easy installation of it. Looks like it could help me with my slice lol. Let see a side by side of you playing with it and without it.

I have watched your lesson with David Leadbetter a few times and it has simplified my swing thoughts 🤞.

Great video, looks like a great device to help you find the right position
Straight Away. Love the channel. Love the lesson
Straight away - I watched your initial video on this training aid - subsequently tried to incorporate the correct take away technique into my swing with some success. However time and fading memory have lost the early gains.
I already purchased one from Performance Golf and it certainly does take some retraining that first 12” - 18”. Looking forward to practicing with it.
