I’m quite a bit older then you both. One thing life has taught me is that you will adjust to whatever your situation is. If you have a 10,000 ft manor you’ll fill it. If you live in a 100 ft space you’ll make do. Love your content, love shortclips of the New York life.

I love how the space is decorated. So airy and bright.
Not too small at all for a major city in my opinion.. especially all for one person. Dishwasher, gas stove, fridge AND bathroom ? Amazing. I shared a similar sized space with my ex in Vancouver but it was underground with no oven.
I totally get having a larger bed. When ur house is tiny, your bed is your couch, your table, and your working space. So a large bed actually makes a ton of sense. I had a lot of people tell me to get a twin but it was like... what am I going to do with more floor? Sleep on it? Nah.

I am in love with all the colors. Coming from the PNW where it's doom and gloom weather, I realized my love for black was affecting my mood so I started adding in more colors. Big difference!
Totally agree with the queen bed thing. My apt is about 365sqft and I refuse to give up my safe space queen bed 😍

Cute apartment. I had a cute place like that in Vancouver back in the day, but it was only about $300 haha
For any Canadians watching, that room she's living in, started at $2,400 a month (again in CAD) and that was around 3 years ago. And she mentioned that her rent has gone UP. She's paying that much, to live in that small a space, in one of the worst places in America.
You couldn't pay me to live there, the added health hazard of pollutants leaking in from the outside is just added disincentive. She should get filters and add them over everything tied to the windows / air conditioning. It'll save you the head ache of cleaning and save your lungs and long term health.
Get a grip. No one e cares about Canada or wants to live there. 😂

I moved here about the ages you two look. Early 20s. It was the mid 90s. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Was here during 9/11, Hurricane Sandy, and the pandemic. Still here. Wild ride! 😂
That apartment is incredible! I would advise you to keep it because it's a horrible rental market out there and absolute shite and dirty flats going for 4500.00 dollars. I've known people, much older than you, who have kept their small flats in Manhattan and are quite happy. Keep as long as you can, you've done great.

My mother lived in an apartment that brought in polluted air and it affected her health.

Originally, I was wondering why you wouldn't go with a pull out couch, but seeing how much space you get with the bed you chose, make total sense.
Honestly, I live in Pa, and in the Spring to Fall, I get tons of pollen in my apt., I hate it, but that's what you deal with when you don't like AC.
When you move out of there, Abonaax,😄 needs to take this apt. The bathroom alone would be worth it.

I live in a studio apartment with my 10yr old son in Los Angeles.It’s pretty big I guess you can say BUT idk how to decorate it.Btw this small place is beautiful.

I go to my parents' decently often so I will do my laundry there so I can save the money, but some of our friends either go to a local laundromat themselves or pay for it to be done by someone.

Doesn’t it bother you showing everyone on TH-cam your apartment incase someone tracks you down to either rob or attack you….there are some smart criminals out there who know how to use the internet in ways you don’t realise or imagine…..it’s over sharing which can be dangerous. I’ve found Americans do that a lot.
