    Two things that Hawai'i is famous for are Beaches and Musubi. This beach in the North Shore is one of the most famous spots people love to visit to get a beautiful view of the Honu or Green Turtle. While it is affectionately known as Turtle Beach, the real name is Laniakea Beach.
    A fun fact about the Honu or Green Turtle is that it gets its name from the green fat inside of it instead of the color of its shell. They are prevalent throughout the Hawaiian Islands but this beach in particular is known for constant sightings.
    Directly across from Laniakea Beach is a parking area currently under construction but it does provide a walkway and crosswalk.
    Right across the beach from Laniakea is Musubistro which is open on Saturday and Sunday until they sell out.
    Their musubi is not a traditional musubi with spam but rather a fresh mahi mahi filet, breaded and fried, katsu-style and then packaged with rice and seaweed.

    Hi and thank’s for great videos. Me and my parents fly to Hawaii in january and we come from Sweden. Do you know if this Bech Will be the best to see the Amazing turtles at this time of the year ?

    • @Cruisingfoodies
      @Cruisingfoodies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aloha and welcome to Hawai'i! The waves will be a little tougher in January but you still may see a bunch of turtles. Also, the whales will be in town so I definitely recommend a whale tour or visiting Ka'ena Point to see all the whales. It's so beautiful.
