I've been following your Santos videos, which really got me thinking about purchasing one. (By the way, I love the videos, keep it up.) On the Cartier website they show two models that look exactly alike, both physically and in their specifications. The model #'s are WSSA0009 and WSSA0018. This video could not have come at a worse time. I've been drooling over the Santos for months now just waiting to find the right time to pull the trigger. Still not 100% sure if i want the Santos or jlc reverso as my first luxury casual dress watch though. Any input from anyone who has experience with either of these two watches would be greatly appreciated!
@@BruceWilliams The Reverso duo night & day is a complete masterpiece. 2 dials coming off a single movement. The one from the late 90’ s early 2000 is still absolutely beautiful & can be picked up for very decent prices.
I literally just went to the AD and looked at a Reverso medium vs the Santos medium. Went with the JLC. But will still get the Santos in the next 2 years.
Congratulations Bruce, I am so tempted for one of these, I'm not sure which one to go for either the new large or medium on my 7" wrist. I guess either should work so I just have to decide if I want the date complication.

Somehow this one looks more exciting than VC Overseas. My only gripe is the brand sounded more like a fashion brand than a high end watch brand. Nice acquisition great taste. Wear it in good health.

Anyway, I usually wear the same very casual clothes, not just when watch shopping. All the time. The Cartier looks great with any type of clothing. Love that big, beautiful store! Is there any harm done if an automatic stops (power runs down) during a day/date change? For example, a Seiko skx, which takes 5 hours to complete the whole day/date change.
I’m glad you still get the buzz .. For me the watch thrill is well and truly gone and I’ve totally lost interest.But it’s interesting to watch videos now and see things from the non obsessed eyes .. A relief from my perspective but it’s still nice to see people getting enjoyment from new purchases. Enjoy your new watch ..

I always have a strong feeling after buying a new watch (after many time for research and hunting), that "this will be my last wacth purchase for some periode". But....
honestly i'm telling myself that i bought watches to mark milestones. but honestly if I started flipping i would be up a considerable amount and would be able to keep buying watches...

I’m a Cartier fanboy so obviously I am bias. But the Santos is one elegant sport watch. Plus, the first man wrist watch and the first pilot watch.

I say +1 for the Reverso. JLC is top-dog in watchmaking, and the Reverso is timeless.
Reverso. An Art Deco masterpiece & one of the truly great watch manufacturers. I also love Cartier though .

It comes with a nice fitted leather and deployant buckle. I may wear it on that every once in a while. But the bracelet is too good to be off for long
