That really depends on the specific model, while I tend to agree (happy owner of a Santos as my daily driver), the lower end ones without date and quartz movement definitely fall into the category of "overpaid for an unimpressive watch simply to have something flashy and show off".

Coincidently, the compliments are almost always when I'm wearing the santos.
I got the Santos Galbee XL in November last year and I love it. The Santos is such a versatile watch, it obviously dresses up but works in casual attire too.
The two-tone medium is my first luxury watch and I love it! Glad I got the updated version. I honestly believe I’m going to be able to pass it down and say it’s a watch with heritage yet innovative during this time.
I truly hear what you're saying here. I bought a Santos in October last year because after working from home and becoming ever more casual and ever more reclusive I finally said to my wife that I sorely miss culture and beauty in my life. I also went for the medium, and got an additional blue cordovan strap from Delugs in Singapore. On the same day, my wife got a Tank large on bracelet, and a camel strap from Delugs. So we could feel elegance once more. Let's just say that your video resonated quite a bit. To quote TGV: Onwards and upwards. 👍👍😉
Fantastic vid. The subject resonates. I bought a Submariner back in the early '90s because it was mechanical and tough. I then became a diver and a marine biologist. The object became a thing and the thing inspired me. Objects can both transform and become more meaningful, but also transform us. The Santos is a beautiful watch and you certainly picked the right one! Where it well.
Thank you for making this video. It really hit home as the Cartier Santos represents a transition in my life - After having owned some of the most sought after Rolex models and various watches from other brands, my watch journey has brought me to a point where I am no longer worried about the financial aspect of a purchase. The current state of my collection reflects my personality, my wants and it doesn't pay attention to those that require a specific brand on the wrist. While I can immediately purchase the Santos, I'm enjoying the chase and the thrill of the hunt. Quietly putting a few hundred dollars aside every week and treating this acquisition as a reminder of the immense privilege of being able to afford an icon.
Sublime watching experience. This clip was next level for you. Really enjoy your evolution. This watch is on a completely different level than what I'd consider, but thankfully even a Seiko or Orient can be linked to an important event and be worn with true emotion. Keep this level of quality, Andrei!
Usually you only find two types of opinions: 1 materialism and consumerism are bad and jewelry as Well as watches are the embodiment of this. 2 this hobby of watch collecting is about history and art and you have them as symbols for your story or conversation starters. I have never heard someone admit that a watch is a soulless object that gives instant gratitude but can be filled with a personal story. This embraces the dark side of this hobby instead of arguing it away. That is the most mature attitude towards watches I have seen. Loved the video great content. On the side another thing people do is wear a watch that they talked themselves into because they liked the image of themselves with it and realize after a while it's "not them" so they sell it. I don't think I have heard someone talk about purposefully buying the watch that does not fit to their standard requirements or style because they want to reinvent themselves. So you adapt to the watch sort of. Pretty cool.
for my birthday this last year, my wife got me a 90 minute before the store opened 1:1 with a watch specialist at a store in Portland that carries a lot of higher end watches. I got to try on, Rolex, Tag's, Tissot, Breitling, Panerai, Seiko, and Cartier. and my biggest surprise of the day was the Cartier Santos. the one I tried on and LOVED was the 0037. I have 8" wrists and it was an amazing watch.
Wow! You blew me away. This video was brave, honest, and relatable; something to admire and inspire. I don't think I ever commented on any video on TH-cam, but you struck a chord here. I had already planned to buy this watch (or the Santos Dumont) for my next purchase, and I think it is no surprise. This watch is truly something special, something aspirational to get but also aspirational to be the best version of yourself. My love for Cartier has grown so much in the past year and your story only confirms it. Thank you for your amazing contribution to the watch community!
Super nice words, Aleksandar, Thank you! If you feel to get into Cartier DO IT, both Santos and Dumont are amazing pieces. I personally like XL dumont a lot!! But the Santos with bracelet feels more like a complete package.
@@BraveBeaters Thank you for the advice! I'm currently leaning towards the large Santos Dumont, but nothing is decided yet. And I'm still saving for it so there is still time. Keep up the good work!
Congrat for the Santos. I bought my Santos 2 weeks ago. I could not decide between the Santos medium and Santos PVD with blue bezel. Finaly i took the PVD version. I do not regret. But you can not make any mistake with a Santos.
For me the seiko alpinist was what I really wanted after going through the endless quartz watches no matter is it was eco drive or tought solar or not felt the with quartz it left me with a feeling that something was missing , yes the quartz was accurate and rarely needs servicing , yet the automatic watch felt more real as this was for me.
I'm ok thanks give the giveaway to someone else. Like your though provoking and philosophical ideas about watches , to many people cars and luxery are thier vices for other its watches , glad I'm in the community.
As a fan (and hopefully) future owner of a Santos, this is the perfect video. It perfectly describes the style and functionality of this outstanding, iconic timepiece. Bravo!!
I confess to being something of a junkie for watch videos, seen probably thousands over the years. This is Next Level. BRAVO sir! The Santos has 'haunted' me since this model was released and for me probably a Dumont 2 tone. But maybe this one...The value is not outstanding but the class is unmistakeable and it never gets old.
I just went through some hard times and had to sell my patek nautilus 5712r moon phase rose gold. I had bought the watch wrong from a dishonest dealer. I just ordered the Santos de Cartier in rose gold 2022 I never liked Cartier. Thought it was just jewelry. But I'm so excited to get it now and due to helpful videos like this I am completely enthralled. I won't miss my royal oaks or my nautilus. Cartier is the future and my future on my life reboot. Thank you!
Look very smart. Timeless elegance. Legibility. Class. Refinement. I’ve tried a few variations with the date. The rhodium dial with the dark bezel was superb. But yours is the classic look. I loved the way it curved around my wrist. Maybe a half link adjustment in the bracelet would be an idea for a better fit. It also looks cool on the strap. Cartier. Can’t go wrong. Maybe I’ll get one in the future.
My Santos has been sitting in my watch box for months as I sank deeper into my dive watches. Thank you for reminding me and reinvigorating my love for my Santos.
I always felt like Cartier Tank looks more feminine than masculine and tbh I am still not drawn to it. That initial feeling made me disregard Cartier in general. But after watching this video, I am now second guessing myself. This Santos just look really handsome! Maybe it's the production of this video, but you definitely showcased this watch better than Cartier's own website! It might be something I would wear one day, who knows! My wrist size is around 7 inch and I think I prefer that medium size as well!
3:34 reminds me of when I was a kid and I was so excited to get a new toy or something. I’d be so excited that I couldn’t help but draw it from memory during school. In my notebooks I’ve drawn bikes, video game systems, Pokémon, my first cellphone, everything and anything. That clip really reminded me of some great memories. I wish time would stop or slow down. Ironically, I’m saying that on a video about an accessory that tells the time quite accurately and always will. Never stopping… Just like time. Whoa this just got deep 😂
Opened this video for the 2nd time on my TV because my PC has adblocker and your channel deserves the support. Production quality is amazing! Keep going!
Your video popped up on TH-cam Studio as the top content suggesting one of my own videos - and having watched it, I can see why. The major difference however is that your video footage & content is far superior to anything I have done, or might be able to pull together. It’s inspiring. Chapeau ! Thank you and well done. Please keep making these videos. 🙏
This is a living matter, the philosophy of life is very lively and the story keeps its rhythm. The watch is beautiful and the most important thing is that it is inspiring! Thank you for the energy of this video! I saw something here for myself and perhaps I’ll leave it with me. Thank you..
@@BraveBeaters I watch with my Mrs on the TV so can't usually comment from there , but felt compelled to rewatch on my phone & comment. Brilliant, rest assured that I've not missed a single episode and you've gained my Lady as another avid fan 😁👍🏻
Excellent Video and lovingly photographed...I have the two tone medium Santos de Cartier which I absolutely love. I prefer it with my dark Blue leather Cartier deployant strap. For me, it looks so darned cool (even if i am not) ! Watching your film made me want to buy the straight stainless model as well which is, ultimately, timeless. But, At my time of life I am more about dressy than casual - so I went with the Gold.
thank you Bob, I can say the same thing, I'd go anytime for a gold bezel version even the full gold one :D I think in combination with gold, the Santos line, this or Dumont, are simply WOW! so enjoy it :)
I enjoyed this video and especially your honesty and humility. It is a remarkable story how such an object as you say can have such a profound effect. And why not? And this is a perfect watch to achieve that. Good for you I am happy with this story
Cartier doesn't do it for me. That said, this may be my favorite video you've done. Your production quality is always a couple steps above other channels and this one was very creative. Your reasoning and emotional bravery combined for a window into you through classic watches. Great work. You're a huge asset in the watch community. As for me, it'll be Breguet when I make my first billion. 🙃Cheers from Florida! 😆
Maybe this will change when you try the Santos Large (40 mm) with the blue dial on your wrist. Cartier didn’t do it to me ever. Not on photos, not in videos. Then last week, I’ve seen the above mentioned watch in the display of my AD, went inside and tried it on. Sold. As I said: Maybe.
Yearly bonus time is coming up and I was looking at the Omega sapphire sandwich Moonwatch, but after buying a Cartier Tank Must for my wife at Christmas and seeing how well it fits, how good it looks and how well it's made I am seriously considering a Santos for myself. The blue PVD version looks absolutely stunning. The quick change strap and bracelet systems are a big plus.
A Beautiful "dress" watch. Stunning. How can a screw down case look so good on the Cartier and fail on a Hublot ? Some things just look right. A combination of form, function and materials. This just looks right.
Fantastic video. This is a very interesting one for me, as I have been looking at this watch lately. My daily watch is a 41 mm Submariner that although I adore it most days, I work in a profession that involves client meetings and nicer attire. So I would never wear it with a suit or rarely business casual. And I manage people’s money, so I don’t want to look too loud. This watch that I currently own and wear is wonderful as a sports watch, but does not suit any business type dress. I feel as though the Santos will do double duty in that, as you’ve illustrated from your beautiful videos. It looks great with a blazer, and it looks great dressed up or down.
Cartier never really did it for me. My mom always went on about them so I thought they were more of a watch for women...and then I saw that same black dial XL Santos and I fell in love. Amazing video! Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful watch has a masculine look to it, the crown all them screws also screams engineer. A true gem for a watch lover I was once told every true collector has a Cartier
Fantastically done segment, loved it! The Santos de Cartier has always caught my eye and captures a level of luxury in design that many other brands try to compensate for by adding complex finishes. I think it's very special that Cartier is able to exude luxury at such an organic level. One day I'll dip my toes in, but my 7.5" wrist will have me very torn as to which scale to pursue. Anyways, thanks for sharing and keep doing what you're doing Sir!
Thank you very much, I appreciate your words! I appreciate as well what you are doing for us, for the community, for so long :) Keep up the good work, and looking forward to see a santos reviewed on the channel.
@@BraveBeaters Oh wow, thank you for that. I'm always so impressed with how far the YT watch content community has come over the years, channels like yours continue to elevate the space and I'm just proud to be a part of its divers tapestry as the landscape continues to expand and evolve, cheers!
Subscribed! Love your channel! Great video that captures the emotion and feel of our love for watches. Gonna show this to my girlfriend so she understands.
This video gives me chills and emotions… I adore and own this watch but with this video you really gave to the experience another level. Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Keep on making these kind of vids. You have found your personal style. Continue your journey with us.😉 Ps: It took a while to reach the 20k subs and now you easily passed the 21k within a few weeks. Congrats!
Well done! This is a great video. I've never given the Santos much thought, but after watching your video, I think it's going to be my next watch purchase.
Heavily considering this exact watch. Thank you for your interpretation. I’ve been enjoying your channel for sometime. Brilliant. Informative content. 😎👍🏼
Great video and exceptional production quality. As many others I started my watch collection with something robust, the Omega SMP 300, back in 2008. Having just one watch at the beginning it is useful if that piece is versatile and can be worn at almost every occasion. With the majority of my small collection being more on the sporty side last year I felt that it was time to add something different to it and I bought a Cartier Tank Americaine in medium size. And it is truly different. It doesn't live by technical specifications or the latest innovation. Yes, it keeps time reliably as a good watch should but first and foremost it is a piece of jewellery, a piece of art. Whenever I put it on my wrist it elevates my mood.
Great video as usual!!! What a grail watch the Santos. I agree on every single consideration, and medium is my choice as well...if I will ever have the chance to buy it. Continue with these amazing contents!!!
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
Great content sir, it's funny how these little thing we wear on our wrists can change us with their stories and presence. As i have gotten older I find my tastes have changed and iam more interested in these stories, history is more important to me than flash. I think Cartier is under appreciated as a watch maker, but their attention to detail is amazing as you documented in this video and the lines are near perfect so there is no need to change it. Iam looking to purchase the 0037 as i love the idea of the rubber strap with the iconic rivets as a casual wear and then the bracelet for more formal occasions, i think their catalog has something for everyone. Keep up the good work and continued success in the years to come.
0037 is a fine piece, that one was the spark that ignited in me the passion for Cartier, but the attention turned towards the ''youtube special'' the medium one. I will try to grab the 37 model as well, IF prices will stop going up that fast. Thank you for your thoughts, Paulo!
@@BraveBeaters i agree with the price I have been saving for the last year, and have noticed the the price just stays ahead of my savings. what are your thoughts on the Masse Mystérieuse unvieled this year at Watches and Wonders? i think it's an amazing piece, too large for my wrist, and outside my price range but something unexpected from Cartier.
Mister te urmaresc de foarte foarte mult timp...si abia acum am realizat ca esti din Romania :)) Sincer iti spun ... ai cele mai frumoase si detaliate clipuri despre ceasuri ..ever ! Keep up this beautiful art ! ✌
The impression that the Santos had on you, being an "aspirational object" that somehow moved you to align yourself with the beauty and order that this watch exudes, is the very same effect your video is having on me. That "You must change your life" of Rilke, somehow. Thank you.
This has to be the best video uve done yet. And best video I even on the Santos yet. Amazingly put together and welll said. I have the exact same watch in the medium the true size I feel it should be. One small mistake in the video though it's not 34mm it 35.1. And because a square wears bigger then a circle watch. It wears like a 38mm.👍🏾
Thank you! You are right, I remebered it is smaller in diameter than the explorer. The explorer is 35.5 and in my mind, the santos was smaller :D And yes, it wears way bigger because of the rectangle aspect.
A very well articulated view on the how your journey progressed towards Cartier. Very well narrated, produced and edited. The complexity of the video should be applauded given the simple message that it sends. It may be a very long time until I have the chance to purchase a Cartier Santos but I can yearn for one, and it would be the medium for my 7" wrist. Maybe someday I'll be in a position to get one and that sounds like a good goal for me to aim for. Many thanks for sharing.
@@BraveBeaters Prices may increase beyond my justification right now but I can still appreciate the elegance of the watch from afar. There are many watches that I would love to own that are either not obtainable or that I can not afford or justify but I can still appreciate the deign, effort and engineering that has gone into them. As they say time will tell on the next purchase. Once again thank you for sharing a great video.
It’s a beautiful watch and I’m considering buying the medium automatic. The funny thing is that my Rolex explorer fits better in my casual way of dress and my simple life, but on the other hand I find the combination of the Santos and a t shirt awesome 😎
Wow, the quality of the video, the story sharing, the lost years we all experienced that’s relatable. Enjoy watching it through and through. I had few existing watches accompanying me through the confusing and lost months, and job too. Keeping me sane locking inside the house. Particularly a watch that was bought at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown couple with the political turmoil in the country. Unique, not expansive, robust, in-house. Have a great day!
I would think many of us will have the dillema of choosing between medium and Large. I choose the Large as its less elegant which suits my daily, casual dressing more. However I do wish there is an inbetween size!
Excellent Video Sir. I am considering this watch myself in the near future. There is just one thing that bothers me about this watch and that is the alignment of the screws. I don't understand why the screws are in different positions, especially as this is one of the main features. I cant see why they are not all the same in the locked down position throughout the watch. Can anyone explain this? Same position screws are evident in high end watches like AP. This will not put me off my eventual purchase, however those screws will play on my OCD.
haha! I understand, I was wondering myself, I will research and come back with these details, it is worth understanding what's the deal with the misalignment. Thank you! :)
@@BraveBeaters I've got the answer. The screws are for show only. They have no purpose other than giving the watch that industrial look. Cartier indicated if you try and tighten them they will not tighten, they just spin and this was not recommended.
It was a debate if I should make it technical or just discuss the design language of the brand. I will follow up with a technical video with specs and other 2 iconic models next to it :) This is the medium size.
Great stuff! You just have a great manner to say some principal truths in a totally off-hand matter, that is so lovely! I had (and still have) a similar experience with Slim d´Hermes. You might have a good long look at that one too, but please, not on the photo, go to the boutique and have it in your hand. You might buy it right away. As I will Santos. Once I decide which one... Soon...
Beautiful video. I got my wife the same watch as yours (but the bigger one) and I am now drawn to that Gray dial "sportier" one with the rubber strap bracelet. I have a dive watch I just purchased but this Santos is something that is iconic, and capable. I don't dress up often either but I think the gray dial can go easily with a polo shirt and shorts as well.
Wow, i knew it from the eyes, and the accent that there was something familiar since i started following your channel, but i wasn't sure. Now after this video i understood what should have been obvious from the start. All i can say is...misto. Great video btw. Dealing with the same issues during the pandemic, but very far away.

I respect this, as I shall do the same
Sublime watching experience. This clip was next level for you. Really enjoy your evolution. This watch is on a completely different level than what I'd consider, but thankfully even a Seiko or Orient can be linked to an important event and be worn with true emotion. Keep this level of quality, Andrei!
I appreciate your words, thank you :)
True, an Anchor can be set at any price point as long as it personally matters for you.
It is by far the best video I have seen on the Cartier Santos. Phenomenal work on your part
Thank you Philipp :)
Instant subscribe!
Oh dear, I might have to try this watch on at the boutique (again).
Thank you firstname :D
Why not, maybe second time it the right time :)
for my birthday this last year, my wife got me a 90 minute before the store opened 1:1 with a watch specialist at a store in Portland that carries a lot of higher end watches. I got to try on, Rolex, Tag's, Tissot, Breitling, Panerai, Seiko, and Cartier. and my biggest surprise of the day was the Cartier Santos. the one I tried on and LOVED was the 0037. I have 8" wrists and it was an amazing watch.
Haha, true words, out of the mentioned ones, 0037 is the most exotic and beautiful :)
Aa congrats! I was between medium and the large grey bezel. But as you said, no matter the model, no mistakes :)
For sure! Alpinist is a solid piece with an iconic design already! Enjoy it, a great piece! ❤️
I'm ok thanks give the giveaway to someone else. Like your though provoking and philosophical ideas about watches , to many people cars and luxery are thier vices for other its watches , glad I'm in the community.
i too fell in love with the Alpinist lineup. nice purchase
Well said Chris! It's more about the class and the message behind a cartier than the quality. Thank you very much :)
Thank you!
The ability to make a watch/ non watch video is wonderful. The depth of your meaning in this video is awesome.
Love the storytelling and the sketching is just such a great touch ❤
Thank you :)
Agree with the bracelet, they could had made a better adjustment of the bracelet.
My Santos has been sitting in my watch box for months as I sank deeper into my dive watches. Thank you for reminding me and reinvigorating my love for my Santos.
Wear it and enjoy it, a must! :D
Man, you are not doing just videos, you are doing art!
Haha, thank you very much! I appreciate and respect the people, they deserve more!
except he pronounce the g in paradigm
I loved that video. Watch shots are perfect and the storytelling is great. Well done!
Thank you :)
The best watch video (and story) I have ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot. Well done.
Likewise! ;)
I appreciate your words. Thank you :)
Thank you..
Your best work so far IMHO. Excellent video, truly iconic and spectacular timepiece, love it!
Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Steve, long time no see :) Or I've missed some of your messages, Sorry :) thank you, as well!
@@BraveBeaters
I watch with my Mrs on the TV so can't usually comment from there , but felt compelled to rewatch on my phone & comment. Brilliant, rest assured that I've not missed a single episode and you've gained my Lady as another avid fan 😁👍🏻
Santos de Cartier is bracelet art telling time - and also a true legend.
Your video art is of quality high enough to explain it all so well - thanks.
You summarized it, very well!! Thank you Wisam! ❤️
Super nice words Brian! Thank you very much! :) Breguet is a gem to own, indeed! Cheers from cold Bucharest! 😁
The blue one is very cool!!
A Beautiful "dress" watch. Stunning. How can a screw down case look so good on the Cartier and fail on a Hublot ?
Some things just look right. A combination of form, function and materials. This just looks right.
A beauty indeed, Eric. a design perfected in time, Hublot is still young.
I’ve been obsessing with Cartier eye glasses and sunglasses. Now on to Cartier watches. Thanks for that. Their glasses are unmatched, imo.
Fully agree! The santos takes over from the sub the businss casual context indeed! Thank you :)
Cartier never really did it for me. My mom always went on about them so I thought they were more of a watch for women...and then I saw that same black dial XL Santos and I fell in love. Amazing video! Thank you for sharing!
It has been very long since any video resonated with me this much. Fantastic work. Thank you!
Thank you Martin :)
Such a perfect watch! So much history behind this watch. My goal watch! Congrats!
It is worth be considered as a goal watch, indeed! Thank you Jay!
Beautiful watch has a masculine look to it, the crown all them screws also screams engineer. A true gem for a watch lover I was once told every true collector has a Cartier
It is a beauty, indeed! The crown, indeed pretty enginner'ish with a cabuchon sapphire :)

Two of the best Watch TH-camrs. Both your presentations are incredible. You guys need to collaborate.

haha, thank you very much! :) OFC we have feelings for our watches :D
Good idea :)
This watch and in particular your story resonates with me….thanks for sharing your story….so much emotion❤
:) thank you Rob! I appreciate your words!
This video gives me chills and emotions… I adore and own this watch but with this video you really gave to the experience another level. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Let them come!!!! :))
Very well done! Great storytelling :-)
Thank you very much :)
Wow. Just wow.
I own this watch in this size. I understand your passion for the piece. And you articulate it so well.
Absolutely brilliant video mate. I have been thinking of adding a Santos to my collection. Great food for thought! Keep up the good work
Thank you Matthew! :)
Brilliant video, extremely well done. The Cartier De santos really suits you. It’s definitely a watch on my radar.
Thank you twice, Richard :)
Well done! This is a great video. I've never given the Santos much thought, but after watching your video, I think it's going to be my next watch purchase.
Thank you David! It is a great watch to have on the radar :) especially now that the prices are going up
By far your best video till now! Great presentation :) 5 stars! And yes it happened to me too with my Tudor BB Pro
Thank you Stephen! Wow that's nice! Hope you enjoy it! :)
Thank you very much, yes, we can call it a Grail, well said! It is worth looking for one, I see that they are getting more and more expensive...
@@BraveBeaters ...I will have to start chasing one ASAP then!!! Thank you for providing the right excuse!! 😂😂
Great video! Loved the channel before but it feels like you took it to the next level with this one!
Thank you Leo! Now we have to figure it out how to keep it up :))
Mister te urmaresc de foarte foarte mult timp...si abia acum am realizat ca esti din Romania :))
Sincer iti spun ... ai cele mai frumoase si detaliate clipuri despre ceasuri ..ever ! Keep up this beautiful art ! ✌
I never knew about the method for changing straps, such a great design and another fantastic video
Thank you Ross, the system is very cool, yes :)
This is the best watch video I’ve ever watched. Amazing work sir!
Amazing video, my Pasha 38mm changed my life, even now I make my own custom leather straps. Fabulous combination of colors in your look!
Super nice!!
The impression that the Santos had on you, being an "aspirational object" that somehow moved you to align yourself with the beauty and order that this watch exudes, is the very same effect your video is having on me. That "You must change your life" of Rilke, somehow. Thank you.
Correct and well said. I have to remembrer this :)
I bought this exact watch one year ago and never regretted it!
haha, true, no regrets! :)
Really enjoyed the video, great insights! I'm getting deeper and deeper into the Cartier rabbit hole, and I love it here
Got the same watch. The santos is elegant and mesmerizing.
Great video , Andrei ! Amazing story and videography.
Sarumana :)
Your best video! This exactly Santos is on my list. You gave me an extra motivation. :)
Great video. Your channel has become a TH-cam must, amongst fewer each day. Outstanding content.
Haha, great words, thank you Sir! :)
Amazing timepiece. Great review. Thank you. Another watch to be added to wish list. So many great watches and only one wrist to wear:)👍
Haha. True words, Danny!
The explorer is 35.5 and in my mind, the santos was smaller :D
And yes, it wears way bigger because of the rectangle aspect.
Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the AMZWATCH’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
Epic video - its a classic design and I would love one, but would worry about scratching, such a thing of beauty
You are right, It's solid but the reflex is to protect it from potential scratches on the bezel.
Excellent video, well done. I own a Carrier Santos 100 XL Chronograph and like it very much. Keep up the great content.
UU, that's a beauty! Thank you very much :)
What a review. Love it! This is my dream watch.
Lovely, so well shot, written and delivered.
Thank you :)
Beautiful watch ,I also liked the Roadster in XL ,but you only got the XL in America ,I think they have stopped making it ,thanks
Yes, they are discountinued. Cool designs!
I appreciate your words Anthony! Thank you! It is worth looking for one, the prices are increasing lately ...
Money well spent @Cartier! Love the new ad!
:) Cheers!
Beautiful watch and beautifully made video ❤️👍
Thank you ❤️
It’s a beautiful watch and I’m considering buying the medium automatic.
Thank you!! :) I am sorry to hear about the job.
Hope eveything got back to normal. Stay safe!
During lockdown and the working from home period, I was buying more casual watches. Now that I’m back in a suit, I’m buying more formal watches.
I would think many of us will have the dillema of choosing between medium and Large. I choose the Large as its less elegant which suits my daily, casual dressing more. However I do wish there is an inbetween size!
agree! I think a 37 mm version would had been cool
Your videos are getting better and the better with time. Keep it up!
It’s not often I subscribe to a channel in the first two minutes of the first video I watch. This is excellent content .
Excellent video, well done. Is this model - and the larger one - water resistant? To what depth?
It was a debate if I should make it technical or just discuss the design language of the brand. I will follow up with a technical video with specs and other 2 iconic models next to it :) This is the medium size.
Nice video on the Santos! I had no interest in Cartier until last year. Now I have 3 of them haha! 😅😂
Soon...
Thank you very much! :) Slim d'Hermes is a handsome, elegant watch! Worth all the love! :)
The grey one is very cool!
Wow, i knew it from the eyes, and the accent that there was something familiar since i started following your channel, but i wasn't sure. Now after this video i understood what should have been obvious from the start. All i can say is...misto.
Great video btw. Dealing with the same issues during the pandemic, but very far away.
Spotted haha! Multumesc mult :)
