They fail to mention that these features are not available at all for 2020 and beyond.

Yes, POOR sales knowledge or rather they don't care to tell you. I have a 2020 Prime Limited and expected this to all just work. Apparently i wasn't the only one, i took it in about 2-weeks after purchasing and the Service Techs were all under the same impression, they tried and tried to get the new REMOTE CONNECT option inside the Toyota App to make it work, it just came up with errors after scanning the VIN and they couldn't understand it. LAME. The only way i could get a straight answer was by calling the Safety Connect people and they were the ones that confirmed that the Head unit is no longer compatible with Remote Connect anything! What a Joke.

If the Toyota car sales people did a better job more people would probably by the advanced model and have happier customers; instead of customers who were misled by the adverts and hype of how awesome the Prime is. You pretty much need the Advanced model to benefit from the bells and whistles that are talked up. :(

Completely agree. So disappointed in this car...very deceptive advertising. Great gas mileage though, lol

Can it be added to other models?

Candycane sadly No... and more sadly, they took the phone apps completely away from the car for the 2020 year!! You can still activate the A/c from the key-fob, but that’s all and you have to be close enough to the car to do it... which defeats the purpose of having it ready for you when you leave a store!

I don’t see this feature on my Entune App. It looks like Toyota is removing that.

The app does not exist anymore. This is par for the course with any instructions from Toyota.

the sad part about this garbage is that one can not even replace the screen because the AC and other settings can only be accessed via this massive screen.
