I have a Man Call Ove on my physical TBR as well. I loved Anxious People and liked My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry.

Looks like you have some really fun books ahead of you! I'm excited to hear your thoughts on Woolf once you get around to reading her work. She has become one of my favorite authors, but it can take a while to get into her narrative flow (worth trying more than one book; Orlando is the first one that clicked for me and made reading the rest easier).
Thank you for joining in on the tag!

Wonderful responses to this tag, Bryndis. I’m excited for you to read Woolf. Beloved is one of my top five novels of all time. It is a very disturbing story but, as you note, a very important one. I did a video on it very early in my days of having a channel because it is also a frequently challenged and banned book here in the U.S., and I talked about it as a banned book. I’m just now finishing up a re-read of Ulysses. It is challenging, but it’s been great to read it with a group here on Book Tube. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your time off! Thanks for doing this tag! 😊

Interesting answers! I want to read Woolf as well, I’m not sure I’ll like it but I want to know if I do 😊 And Beloved. I would also say I’m a HSP, I get so bogged down by sad and heavy things, or energy and attitudes, and there are so many things that I’m sensitive to 😂
I hope you’ll have a fantastic time off, read and enjoy and be free of any expectations! 💜

@ellenmadebookclub Thanks 😊 I feel the same about Virginia Woolf, I just want to know if I will like her style.

Ah yes, fantasy covers are often stunning. I love any tale with a dragon. My baptism into Woolfism was the book & film called 'The Hours', very moving, & a terrific tribute to Virginia. My favourite Woolf is 'To the Lighthouse', & her essays. So much there to ponder. I have never tried 'War & Peace', really should, I guess...Love that cover on your copy. I am also HSP, & this does make some interactions difficult, so I get where you are coming from with regards 'Beloved'. I have also been a bit wary of reading it. I am trying to launch into Primo Levi (an Italian Jew sent to the death camps during WW2) also, & been putting it off, a bit scared... Really enjoyed this video - thanks.

@apoetreadstowrite I find books about the Holocaust, US slavery and animal abuse the most harrowing. I saw The Hours, it is really good.
