Glad you got a good long break, with lots of reading to tell us about. Your clueless impression! So good. I think I mentioned it before, but the Jo Baker & Lucy Worsely have been on my list to get to, hearing you talk about them made me want to even more.
Your summer break sounds like my dream, you read so many books! 😍 Yay for reading more Mistborn, so glad you’ve continued to enjoy it!! Once I’m done working through the Stormlight Archive I want to get back to that series. Very curious to see what I’ll think about Wuthering Heights, haha gotta love when all the characters are horrible… I need to re-read Sense and Sensibility, it’s a good one!! And I re-read P&P at the end of July/beginning of August and it’s just so fun, I listened to the audiobook and it was really entertaining!
@LibrariesandLattes It was such a lovely month! I'm planning to read the rest of the Mistborn series soon, can't wait. I will then probably start the Stormlight archives early next year, I keep hearing so many people talking about how good that series is.
How lovely to see you back! Sounds like you took a very relaxing and well deserved break! And I'd say you definitely win at Jane Austen July, you just read everything 😅
Welcome back Bryndis! I watched Clueless all the time as a kid (it and Biodome), i had no idea it was supposed to be a Jane Austen adaptation, you just blew my mind!
Good to see you again! 😊 What a lovely month you had, I’m so glad! And a bit jealous 😅 What a treat to just do whatever you want for a few weeks. I’m very glad it worked out for you (as life can sometimes insert itself in our plans…) And your presentation of the books actually made me a little curious to read a Jane Austen book, possibly Persuasion or S&S. I had higher hopes for Longbourne though. Please keep taking care of yourself as work starts back up! I look forward to see you pop back up on my subs page 😊
Thank you 🙂 I teach at a school of education, so I'm a teacher educator. Most of my students are studying to become early childhood teachers (preschool) but some are studying to become primary school teachers (1-3 grade).
Sounds like heaven. Missed your videos though so loved this one

@@ReadBecca I can definitely recommend Lucy Worsley, for sure. I think Longbourn is good if you are a P&P fan.

@ellenmadebookclub Thank you! 😊 You definitely should give Jane Austen a try, to me Persuasion is just perfect.
Welcome back. What do you teach at the university?
