I mean you _could_ argue that shitting would repulse spiderman into not attacking you but he only touches you with his webs anyway. I'd suggest pissing as an alternative. Because it's faster and you can aim it at spiderman's face to distract him from immobolizing you.

I'm more of a DC fan but there were a couple of moments that were exactly what I imagined the panels of a Spidey comic would look like in motion. Totally blew my me away.

Man, Spidey is a great game! They really knocked it out of the park. They took some of the best parts from the pretty great Batman: Arkham games and Spideyized it. I’ve spent more of my time just swinging around New York than I have actually progressing the plot because it’s so much damn fun.

The reason a lot of people hate filler content in open world games is exactly because the gameplay doesn't hold up throughout the whole game so completing it starts to feel like a chore rather than fun. Also again in open world games too much unrelated side quests and activities can destroy the pacing of the main story (especially if there is a sense of urgency) but in Spiderman PS4 doing all these superhero stuff works narratively as that's just part of being your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
I spent most of my time doing the side quests as soon as they unlock especially because they help me familiarize myself faster with the controls. However that pigeons chasing side mission got me real bored.
For me it was the Taskmaster races. Screw those. Glad I got enough tokens to get the plat trophy and never have to attempt them again.

I think there was a good variety of mix and gameplay that helped prevent the game from feeling stale. One part may be a beat-em up, then your doing a stealth mission as Mary Jane. Then your doing puzzles in Doc Ocks lab. There was plenty of variety in the game. I think all open world games could take notes.
This game was my first platinum trophy, gotta say, every second was worth it

Ugh. I know, right? If the writers wanted you feel how much being Spider-Man sucks at times, then they absolutely succeeded. It was way more emotionally draining than, say, Arkham Knight's ending.

I had to turn of JJJ after a while. It got super annoying. Same premise every time.
JJJ builds it up like he is gonna say something good about Spider-Man, but then there is a twist about how why that good thing he did is actually bad, then a caller tells him about something else he did that was good, then JJJ hangs up on them and rants about how wrong that caller was.
