I think for me I’m going to stick to the pumpkin farming. I only have to water them once and I don’t have to worry about running out of coal. Also I can actually run around and play the game while they are growing.
Also the planting and watering really helps level up the villagers.
Yeah I’m gunna have to agree here I’ve been growing okra and having a blast doing so, especially with the farming talent on a villager, it can’t be beat plus then you have to mine for coal and 20k to 30k?
I can set up 150 okra and then go fish with goofy and come back, sell the fish, and sell the crops and then I’m up like 90k and had a blast

Same I've been farming pumpkins for 2 days and reached max level already lol.
I havent unlocked pumpkins yet but i've just been farming random stuff since its needed for quests to. I always keep a villager so I can max their level. I tried this and its boring and time consuming. I'd much rather mine for gems while waiting for crops to grow then mindlessly cook the same food over and over again
If you complete the quests for Kristoff he will set up a stall and sell coal randomly.
+Jo Lenfo:yeah but still you shouldn’t sell crafting materials since Kristoff switches stuff out pretty much daily and he only has coal on there on certain days since he sells other stuff as well but point it’s coal,iron and gold are stuff that gets used alot in crafting materials and the coal also gets used in cooking so you need access to those 24/7 so sometimes you do have to mine for those even if you don’t want to. Since gold-Iron aren’t yet on kristoffs stall for a lot of people and you aren’t suppose to Sell stuff that you need for crafting you aren’t suppose to sell gems,gold,iron,coal…etc… hence why alot of us stick to farming extra crops and veggies for foods and a energy source/stamina. A lot of stuff you will need for cooking or for crafting so you shouldn’t sell them unless you aren’t gonna use it. You are only suppose to sell stuff you don’t use to goofy or Kristoff
Just divide the amount of coins you have by 820 (total coins of all four ingredients) and it tells you how many you can buy per round
I made 100k today alone just by
- selling 28 pumpkins
- put all wild crop trees and bushes together and got my foraging partner and ended up making 6k-10k every few minutes selling all the wild produce
- I'm try to hit a max of 50 for all fruits, veggies, seafood, gemstones, flowers, etc. So when I come across extra I sell them (they run good if Shiney gemstones cause those sell for $$$$, or the flowers from forgotten lands)
Just tips for anyone whose too lazy like me, who doesnt like to farm crops all day or cook
It's limited by coal which you need for crafting other stuff and it is quite time consuming, so not sure it's better than farming.

Scrooge sells one for 550 roughly as well, I did this for a bit once low on stamina, then went back to farming

I did this until i ran out of coal. Then I used the money for more crops. If you do this, you will need to grind for coal

Once you’re mid to late game this will be immensely helpful as you’ll have tons of coal!

I have see this method but it takes "ORE" so you still have that to do the "iron" to cook???
Anyone got tips for mining lots of coal? I love the soufflé method but I keep running out of coal and I don’t have pumpkins unlocked to farm those yet
Is there a better crop than onions for flipping? The 50 for seeds and 255 to sell is pretty decent. Been farming a 100 tile plot in the Forrest for a bit now.
Pumpkins apparently are the best money maker (I haven’t unlocked them yet so haven’t tried it). I was doing onions. Trying asparagus tonight, I’ll let you know how that goes lol
Pumpkins take 4 hours but give 600 and something. Onions are ok but canola gives just over 100 each and grows in 35mins (in the correct biome). If all you're doing is farming it's the meta crop.

It was working really well for me until I ran out of coal. Any tips on getting more of that? Mining for it is really inconsistent.
apparently you can buy them from kristoff once you get him but i'm not sure at what point in his quest chain

I ran out of coal😂 but I still made 50k but that was still super helpful, coal is kind of difficult to find!
I'll keep farming pumpkins, it's way easier. Soufflees are only really worth it until you can unlock Forgotten Lands.
Okra is better until then. You get way more profit with a garden buddy
That’s 7k profit give or take, but you still need coal. Not bad, but I’ll stick to farming, higher profit and no coal needed. Only downside it takes more time, but with a game like this, time is fine. :)

You really shouldn't call this an exploit. It's clearly intended. When you say that word they nerf it really fast.
How far into the game do you unlock Remy? Or, what needs to be done before being able to unlock him? Recently unlocked Kristoff and Donald. Working on Mother Gothel now.
You can unlock him right after you cleared the Night Thorns in front of the castle.

If you combo pumpkins with cooking make grilled veggies using 3 pumpkins only they sell for soooo much
So I just got the game yesterday and I tried this method cause other than the pumpkin farm this was the most talked about money guide. I feel like I was barely making money. I was getting annoyed with having to repurchase and only being able to make 2-3 more each time I went back but then I’d be sitting there making a bunch at a time. I don’t have the forgotten land yet so I’m spamming Okra until I have that unlocked.

Took me a few moments to realize you where gonna suggest Souffle method. Pumpkins have it beat hand over fist but early game that works pretty good, except you will need to unlock Kristoffs stall to get over the coal issue.

Only down side is you are stuck at the stove the whole time. At least with farming, you can plant the seeds, water them, then go about your day. And you don't have to hear the sound a million times.
It’s 820 for 1 of each, and if you sell 1 it gives you about 1,250 if you want just over 10k each time you should buy 25 of each which costs 20,500

so there will be times when you will need to mine for gold and need it to make golden Ignots. So you aren’t suppose to sell the gold nuggets even if you feel the urge to. You’ll need the gold nuggets to make golden Ignots 24/7 since a lot of crafts require the golden Ignots.
6months late, but it showed up on my recommended for some reason. You pretty much get 410 profit per soufle. On console you can do 10 cooks in less than 30 seconds, cause of not needing the mouse movement. So 8.2k per 1-2mins. Which you can increase to around 13k profit per 1-2 mins once you reach 70-80k gold. Thats around 390k give or take per hour. It's pretty much something thats incredibly useful in the beginning to maxing out your storage and getting the initial upgrades out of the way.
Once you get more options like pumpkin seeds it falls off pretty hard, cause you can just farm the pumpkins, wait till you have a max stack and then farm other stuff in between.
Was it patched? Also is it just me or the crops are taking longer to grow?
The grow speeds are are different in different biomes
Nope it still works! As for the crops they haven’t been nerfed. Make sure you’re planting in the correct biome
@@Serroh it seems to have something to do with the rain...im planting them in the recommended biomes...water them, then it starts raining stops, plants dry up, re water, plants dry up again, re water, plants dry up again, rains and then they're ready to harvest. (Carrots and tomatoes).

How do I get my stove outside?
Probably by removing it from your house, which puts it in your inventory. Then you go outside and place it from your inventory screen.
Yesterday I turned on my console, booted the game, clicked continue and it forced me to make a new character. I lost everything I had. Heartbreaking

It is early release so, some people will get affected. Mayne email the dev team and report the bug, they might be able to get ur saves back

@@RuleOfThum42 I did. The save data was still there. No way to access it. It wouldn't allow you to continue if there wasn't any previous data. Apparently it happened to others to. Regardless it's heartbreaking

To make 100k you have to make 244 of these, sounds like a lot of work, but I guess it's a food way if you don't have access to Forgotten lands

If you look on their track all level 10 items are tied to a friendship Quest, had the little quest icon under the level 10 items
This is Not at all 100k without farming. You need to farm some stone for cook 😅 so Not 100k in 20min at all. But Yeah it’s still for now the easyiest making money 👍
Oh you can easily make 100k with this method. Just buy like 200 of each ingredient! The more you buy the more you make :)

I bought 300 each of milk, 300 butter, 300 cheese & 300 eggs! But I counted & getting the pumpkins gives ne 1.3 M & my gardens is about 900. Don't forget that since I have my helper, she easily gives me around 300 + of FREE Pumpkins so... For 99 of them you get $30,000 +. Ciao my friend 🇲🇶🇨🇦🇺🇦✌️😁👍
You’re techincally not suppose to sell gold since you need the gold to make the golden Ignots for crafts.

Three things: the profit after cost of ingredients is only $400 something… you aren’t “making” the most amount of money doing that! Plus no need to put a stove outside- there’s one inside the restaurant! Lol Lastly, someone said go to Remys door in the castle- no, you can’t bring ingredients back from the castle. believe me farming with vegetables is hateful you will not get that fixed amount in any other method fishing depends on luck The minerals are also quite random that specific gems come out
But the main reason I advise this method is that they will also be farming Dreamlight (if they don't have much in the cooking section)
Pumpkin farming is much faster and you get more money and lose less. You have buy so many ingredients and you run out of coal. Farming allows you to level up villagers and you are gaining money. If you have a level 10 farming buddy you will get even more.
yeah farming is definitely way better overall! XD already sitting back and relaxing, while my pumpkins finish up XD don't need to buy anything till scrooge's restock resets anyways! by then i'll have made 600k in one day, on 8 and half hours of waiting on pumpkins to finish up XD
You can get more from canola because it grows quicker. But you have to be harvesting and re-planting. I normally plant a heap of pumpkins before I'm about to quit so I can come back to a full field next time, then just do canola while I play. But everyone has different things they like to do. I prefer to just do farming rather than actually doing anything else so it's great for me but other people might not enjoy it XD
@@SSZaris the way I farm in this game is insane so pumpkins are the way for me. I have 500 plots in all the areas that way I level up my villagers and I always harvest with a gardening villagers that is level 10.
Not only are you waisting coal, but your literally only making a profit of around 300 since the items cost around 800, and the dish sells for around 1000. So your basically losing more then your making in the long run.
Just a tip, do this but add a pumpkin into the last recipe slot(it will a different meal now) and you will make even more money. That's what I have been doing.
Or if you really wanna go ham just do all pumpkins, it will sell for 4k. Once a day I go and make about 20 veggie platters(of 5 pumpkins=4k) and make 80k a day. You just still need to be farming pumpkins but really you only need 100 a day so it's not hard

@WHAATEVEN Use the person you gave the mining job to.. bring them along when you crack some mineable rocks, you will get so many coal drops.
