You and I are on the same wavelength. I went to the local Restore and found a small wooden cabinet with no door for $5. I also used a towel for the baffle...hung it from a wooden dowel. I put some small paper clamps around the perimeter of the front so I can clip targets to it. I also hung a chunk of wood from a wire down from the top for another target. It all works like a charm! Thanks for the video!
Simple design, effective in practice. I did a similar thing with a old cabinet. Only thing I did different was drill a small hole on left and right side to accept a disassembled clothes hanger for the spinner targets to hang on. Also there's 2 large fishing swivels that hold pop cans.
Thanks, friend. I use it every day. It's held up pretty well. I might put some new paint on it this spring, and it's got some wear from stray shots, but it's still pretty solid.
I find playing cards (2 packs for a 1$ at the dollarstore) make awesome cheap targets. If you want them to make a loud thwap put a few layers of clear packing tape on them or just shoot them as they are if you want a quiet target (for the neighbors sake)

I love making useful stuff out of junk. And I love hearing about others doing it too. Thanks for sharing that.
Great build,simple and useful
I had fun making it, too. People discount the fun factor too often.
@@axsomoutdooradventures agree ,make something is part of the journey

That's a really cool idea. I never considered packing tape to help with getting that satisfying thwack! I might try that.
