Nad’s is my hero I grew up reading all his articles in super street magazine, and that’s what started my interest in cars. I’m so happy he’s part of hoonigan!!!
+concur! initially, Nads was very off-putting i.e. talking over guests in the yard but, as ive gotten to know the fool via bonus channel vids etc im excited to experience his decades of ricer knowledge NADS YOUR THE MAN!!
I love Nads passion in this episode. Really great. I REALLY wanted to see the bikes on the upper level though! Embrace the dark side Hoonigan! Motorcycles can do burnouts and drift too!
He's like a kid on Christmas day. And i mean, who wouldn't be this way with such a cool place. I'm more of a Mercedes fan, but this is up there in my bucket list now.
Thanks showing all the cars with so much passion. 1973 - 1979 all of the Civics were 1200 cc and you had to use the CVCC transmission to get a 5 speed. One of my best friends started with Honda Bob as a mechanic in the late 70’s. Glad you spent so much time on his 1200 civic race car! Thanks Nads!
Nads is by far my favorite on this channel!! His love, passion and knowledge for all things cars is to be envied.. I’ve greatly enjoyed this bonus episode and hope to see more from him.
NADs love for Honda is second to none... I love it! I self taught myself to drive stick on my Moms '84 H Civic 2 dr HB ... she said "a monkey can drive an auto..." miss her.
Now we know that the usual beer in hand is a chemical depressant that Nads has to use just to contain his Hondalove. Nads isn't inflicting his drinking habit on us; he's saving us. #heronads
The legend doesnt get anywhere near the credit it deserves!!....the optional 6speed in the freaking 90s, the excellent and powerful v6 engines, the incredible luxury and advanced tech of the time....it is still one of the best cars ever made imo.
I'm not really a Honda fan, but I watched this whole hour long video due to Nads' magnetic enthusiasm. This was a great little documentary. I enjoy these raw, mostly uncut, and informative videos.
Man, this really made Nads super endearing. Seeing someone super passionate and in depth versed about anything is awesome. I think X is 10 in Greek numerical sense. But this was killer, thank you
35:07 you can lower when v-tec kicks in with a retune in the newer i-vtec engines. With the mechanical V-tec engines you would have to set the bigger cam lobes to kick in at a lower rpm by setting the V-tec Pont via wire to cpu.
Nads usually doesn’t get the credit he deserves, dude knows so damn much. He usually just gets cut off because he’s “fanboying”. Not even much of a Honda guy but Nads just does it different. We need more of these videos.
Nads and RikDaddy will always be my favorite SuperStreet editors, Nads always had the best articles! And being someone who is a die hard Honda guy since I was a young kid I can appreciate this video.
I can hear nads talk about cars all day. You should do a brew with nads because i heard he was one of the founder or THE founder of the time attack in that track that i cant remember the name of it.
watch the twitch field trips with nads. they are mostly him talking about cars all day. they did a stream with him live from super lap battle. the petersen museum is a good one too.
Can see why you guys built this guy a car. Cool, happy people. I went to the Barber motorcycle museum with a couple of buddies and they were just amazed at the fact that I could tell them almost everything about every bike in there. Just cool to see someone with SO enthusiasm!
Nads is awesome. I would love to have him as a friend seriously. He’s definitely a unique person, he’s one of those people that you need as a friend in life. With Vtech, like my car, I have a 2015 Civic SI Coupe. Last year of the true V-Tech, mine kicks In at 5k RPM’s and redlines at 8500 rpms.
This is Nads Honda dream world, he’s either really hyped or completely lit. Im going to vote on the side of lit, lol he left the solo cup in the car in parking lot. Word🤙🏻✌🏻
Big shout-out to Nads. In my early teens I would sit in the magazine section just reading tuner mags. I remember reading Max Power and even got subscriptions to mags like Super Street and Honda Tuner. I was a Honda guy and I read those things cover to cover - and loved reading Nads' pieces. If you're reading this, you're the man Nads.
Oh man! I wish I was there. You're my type of guy. It would be the best tour ever! I like knowing "insignificant" info on things. I spend a lot of time researching bands for example and I like learning the smallest things that probably don't matter. Anyways, Honda is one of my favorite car manufacturer for all the "wrong" reasons. I love the way their cars look and the logo. I grew up wanting a Civic Si hahaha. I still want one. No idea how Hondas drive and where they stand next to their peers.
Dudes, I love how excited Nads gets over cars. So excited he cuts himself off constantly when explaining things. I would kill to have a few beers with Nads talking car craft.
Best car I ever owned was a third gen prelude si. Incredibly beautiful and well engineered, super fun car, even without the 4WS. Honda will always have a special place in my heart. I was anxiously waiting for you to get to the Preludes! I was a little disappointed that you didn't really cover them in this video. Still, very cool video and thanks for showing us the museum!
Nice! I drove to Hamamatsu, apparently Soichiro Honda's hometown, in my '91 Honda Today this summer to attend the only organized Showa Era Honda meet in Japan. I tailed my wife's cousin in his Spoon S2k. Unfortunately, I had to cut the day short due to work. There were people camping out and everything. It was really cool and a number of the models in this video were represented. Some guy even had an imported '76(?) Civic from Bedford, Ohio, a stone's throw from where I grew up.
This vid came in my feed, I saw nads and giggled bc i am a manchild. When i realized who was in the vid, it brought me back to the days of reading the import car mags religiously as a teen, and the name instantly flooded memorieof reading them cover to cover. Do kids nowadays even do that anymore? Either way, just want to give Jon thanks for the issues and memories that made me a car nut. Good to see him again, you guys have a new subscriber! Sending love from Toronto Canada.
I live in Vancouver B.C. and every year there is a hot rod show with 8 of those early 80's civic wagons slammed with b, c and d series engines and they rock.
Thank you for making this video. I learned a lot about Honda. Honda is a company i’ve always loved and had a fond knowledge of but this showed me things I didn’t know
An HOUR with Nad's nerding out at the Honda museum? Where's my popcorn?!?
Tinker don't forget the extra butter!!!
Did you get the 44 gallon drum with a few gallons of butter? 😂
The museum is gonna watch this and offer him a tour guide position. He genuinely loves nerding out on these.
That’s exactly what I was thinking
Where's my beer? Wheres Nad's beer?!
Nad’s is my hero I grew up reading all his articles in super street magazine, and that’s what started my interest in cars. I’m so happy he’s part of hoonigan!!!
👊👊👊
Holy shit that's what I know him from
Same. Naderi will always be the Super Street daddy in my heart ❤️
Best chief editor evar
Hell yeah, I always remember J. Wong's articles and Nads' editing.
Nads in a long format show, the way he can be properly enjoyed.
Hell yeah!!!
+concur!
initially, Nads was very off-putting i.e. talking over guests in the yard
but, as ive gotten to know the fool via bonus channel vids etc
im excited to experience his decades of ricer knowledge

I could listen to Nads for so long. Even though I'm not a honda guy, there's so much passion when he talks about honda
He goes full weirdo
Nads is the best.
I love Nads passion in this episode. Really great. I REALLY wanted to see the bikes on the upper level though! Embrace the dark side Hoonigan! Motorcycles can do burnouts and drift too!
Brad T pissed off I now know there is bikes upstairs and we didn't get to see them.
Lol i got a little piss'd when he stood at the first usa shop and totally ignored to two cubs..
He's like a kid on Christmas day. And i mean, who wouldn't be this way with such a cool place. I'm more of a Mercedes fan, but this is up there in my bucket list now.
If you head to our Twitch channel (Twitch.tv/Hoonigan) check the VOD! We actually looked at some of the bikes!
The Motocompo is the greatest bike ever made
Watching this again since you guys surprised him with the hatch, he’s such a nerd for Honda’s 😂
Why doesn't nads have a beer in his hand the whole time
Yeah I was gonna say, I think this is the first time I've seen Nads without a beer in hand lol
So he doesn't spill his "Apple Juice" over the cars
As much as we’d love to drink in the museum, we didn’t want to get kicked out.
Honda Nerds Rule! Great video guys
Nads is filling the void Kikawa left in my heart ❤️
It's too soon. TOO soon!
he is not filling but is really helping :D
sorry nads is no Kikawa no one can hate us the way he did
Nads is so cute getting his geek on! It's wonderful to see him in his element.

Happy Thanksgiving, I am Thankful for *Hoonigan* and the content they provide.
What up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m saving half this video too watch with my food
✊✊✊😄😄
I cried a bit multiple times watching this, so cool seeing all this and just Nads explaining everything. He's definitely a favorite for me.
Nads is such a geek for the little details. He and Larry are my favourite people to go on about cars outside of Build Bio
Nads is by far my favorite on this channel!! His love, passion and knowledge for all things cars is to be envied.. I’ve greatly enjoyed this bonus episode and hope to see more from him.
"Welcome to the American Honda Collections Hall, would you like a tour guide?"
"No thanks, we brought our own."
Love nads as my personal Honda tour guide. So much knowledge and his enthusiasm for Honda is contagious.
Take a drink every time he says "I wanna say"
Alcohol poisoning
That sounds dangerous.
This is 1 of the best vids you you have put out in ages. Nads going full send nerd about what he loves is simply amazing to watch
Nads is the man! his passion really shines through in this episode. Ignore the haters and just be you Nads
NADs love for Honda is second to none... I love it! I self taught myself to drive stick on my Moms '84 H Civic 2 dr HB ... she said "a monkey can drive an auto..." miss her.
Noo wayy!!! Nads worked on max power magazine. That takes ya back to the early 2000s when aero was everything
Nads gets me always sooooo hyped on those old Honda's, dream to have a sick JDM old school Honda in the future
When I realized the video was ending I thought wtf so short, then I saw an hour had gone by. Love Nads
I'm 38 and that super street civic is a gem. I know that style is frowned on now but it was dope as a teenager. Love the early integra also.Memories 😢
Being a euro car guy, I didn’t know much about Honda’s history, but I think I’m up to speed now :) thanks nads
jean luc Dubinator sadly nads was wrong, about a lot... so ya
My first car was a '90 Legend L, identical color scheme as the one shown, leather, 5 speed manual. That 2.7 was a beastly little engine. Loved it.
Anyone else see the bottom of the engine stands at 30:45 ?? They are the honda logo. Amazing detail!
Glad am not the only one haha
I'm not really a Honda fan, but I watched this whole hour long video due to Nads' magnetic enthusiasm. This was a great little documentary. I enjoy these raw, mostly uncut, and informative videos.
Nads = Keeper Of Odd Knowledge. Nads is going to need a beer and a smoke after..
Nd a change of underwear.
This guy has great energy, the hour just flew by!
Man, this really made Nads super endearing. Seeing someone super passionate and in depth versed about anything is awesome. I think X is 10 in Greek numerical sense. But this was killer, thank you
Roman numeral X is 10
Nads came to see a 13 year old Honda then Chris Hansen walked out.😂 Nads should be a tour guide for that museum.
THE NADS EPISODE I ALWAYS WANTED!
🔥🔥🔥

Happy Thanksgiving fellas

It's hilarious how they cut out nad's super boring story @ 3:28
I actually wanted to hear the end of that story.
Can see why you guys built this guy a car. Cool, happy people. I went to the Barber motorcycle museum with a couple of buddies and they were just amazed at the fact that I could tell them almost everything about every bike in there. Just cool to see someone with SO enthusiasm!
The Honda S600 has a 600cc Engine not a 1000cc
they could put a bigger engine in for the us market tho
they dont sell it in us
*didn't ?
Unless you're talking about the S660, which is currently being sold in Japan with a 660cc engine.
Yes, all the S model numbers correspond to their displacement until 2004 when the S2000 was shipped with the 2200cc motor.
Nerd!

Close, just 1 street over on Van Ness.
Best vid ever, btw. Total Honda nerd here, and this vid totally gave me that warm fuzzy feeling. Thanks for doing this guys.

Nads is honestly one of my favorites, purely just because of his genuine attitude & his MASSIVE amount of knowledge.
Nads now twilights as a tour guide at the honda museum for 12 pack money
Dudes, I love how excited Nads gets over cars. So excited he cuts himself off constantly when explaining things. I would kill to have a few beers with Nads talking car craft.

10:20 wasn't that built by Wheeler Dealers? they also had an early yellow civic that was sold to this museum.
You are correct.

4 wheel steering came on earlier préludes
It was genuinely pleasant nerd moment ... i love it!!! Thanks Nad, i learn so mutch in this video.
I guess you could say... Nads is really in his HONDA Element here. I'll see myself out now.
I would be just as excited to be there. Thank you for recording this.
Sometime he doesn't know what he talking bout
He just made up some bullshit for what CVCC stands for. It isn't similar to vtec at all.
Love nerding out with Nads. More Nads with Hondas.
Damn no del sol? That accord with the flip ups. 👍
Nads is such a fkn nerd, i love him. So glad he works at Hoonigan!

Please do more museum tour with Nads as a guide! The guy's so passionate !
I love Nads! his knowledge of cars and enthusiasm for them makes these videos so much better
Nad you need to make it up here to Wisconsin. Get a tour of Peter Cunningham's private Honda Collection. His museum is awesome!
I love Nads so much. His passion for cars is so infectious.
My mom had a 1983 Accord Hatchback when I was growing up. Ever since, I've always loved Honda hatches. Just got a 2018 Civic Hatch this year! :)
Nads enthusiasm and knowledge is Great. A really enjoyable video :-)
Twitch and the bonus channel are ideal for Nads. He gets a bit more time to nerd out and people seem to love it, and for good reason!
First car, 1981 accord...coolest lines, reverse opening hood and functional vents, awesome
This vid came in my feed, I saw nads and giggled bc i am a manchild.

I'm not much of a Honda guy, but this video is very engaging! Nads' knowledge and enthusiasm makes it very interesting to watch!
