Absolutely agree with you here. The sleek design is stunning, and reminds me of the Thinkpad X1 line. I'm glad Vaio's still around making interesting laptops like this, esp made in Japan.

Yikes- too much for me, but it is a cool product. Nice to see Vaio still going. I do wish it had SD slot.

I spent $2500 US for the Vaio Z11 with dedicated graphics chip so many years ago and was well pleased. My only nitpik with this one is the lack of ports and I'm assuming no dongle was included with yours. This would make me rethink pre-ordering this (i5 version) new one for $2,389.00

Great laptop, the only barrier to entry for me is the price. Having had the original (Sony) VAIO they were very good machines and reliable. In the UK you can only buy the VAIO A12 and SX14 and they are £2400 plus for the i7 models with 8th-gen Intel! Almost impossible to buy for anyone other than Enterprise or the wealthy!

I found this channel because of a Vaio Duo video. To me, Sony had a good thing going with making computer, tablets, phones, cameras, TVs, game consoles, even creative software for video editing and sound. They had that whole ecosystem potential back then. Sony was Apple before Apple. Sony even had the stores first. Too bad that didn't all work out.

This is totally unreal my cousin had a Sony Viao before but it was one of their thicker models super outdated she had it for like 8 years before it died on her when she came to Australia in 2013 crazy... but yeah glad to see the evolution of Viao just wished the price came down.

someone once told me the logo VAIO implies Analog to Digital, As the logo shows analog wave with the first two letters and digital wave with the 3rd and fourth letter which is usually denoted in 1 and 0, is it true?

They do not address these laptops to the average consumer.

So what do you do with those previous computers you bought? Do you use them all at the same time, lol.

They are review units that go back to the manufacturer. I own the G15 and Spectre 13t.

I used to work for VAIO when it was owned by Sony and VAIO was always over priced. I am a PC user, but for that price, I would rather buy a Macbook Pro.

I have a top specs SX14 but it is nothing compared to this. Not sure why Vaio is not friendly with people with sweaty hands.
