I get cutting out most of the (beautiful) shots of bruce traveling or the villagers singing because you need to make the movie shorter- but the more I look back at the theatrical abomination I see that there was so much that was changed for no storytelling reason at all, it was just movie making politics.

I visited that filming location once when I was a teenager, it's about a 3 hour drive from where I grew up. It beautiful during the summer months. Never in a million years would I have imagined that years later someone would film a superhero movie there!
I saw this in the cinema in Iceland with Icelandic subtitles. When the Icelandic actor spoke there were no subtitles but they had to put subtitles when Aquaman speaks icelandic because it was nearly impossible to understand. The whole room burst out laughing.

There are no villages in Iceland that are that desperately isolated, when roads are closed you can usually still get to places via a boat or an airplane. I talk about this particular village on my other channel 'Iceland in Real Life' as a travel destination recommendation.

Problem is casting, especially with Ben, he doesn't look,sound or act like batman. Offering money to talk? The outfit he's wearing, one of the reasons this movie flopped, the characters been re written like its a fan fiction. Take notes from justice league animated show back in 2000
It's not casting. We've all seen how good of a Batman Affleck can be in BvS. The problem is with JL whedon and WB were hellbent on lighting the tone that they wrote batman completely wrong.

in comics Aquaman's eyes can glow gold when he uses his powers, similar to what Mera does when her eyes glow blue. ITS not a power its a reaction to the use of his powers.

When Arthur said "dressed like a bat" at the end I originally thought he said "just like a bath" referencing Bruce saying what if the oceans boil, and for some reason makes more sense that his actual line 😂
The look Wayne gives him at 1:16 as Aquaman squares off on him and he is amused and not a bit afraid is priceless. First meeting, Aquamans voice is darker and more intimidating. Just grabs Bruce outta nowhere and slams him on the wall. 30 seconds later his voice gets higher and tries to have marvel-esque dialogue banter with Bruce Wayne.

I don't give a damn what anyone else says, Ben Affleck's Batman is far and away better than any other. @Giovanni Balbosa-Mc Intosh actually it was there for the nostalgic side, the MCU kicked off with I am iron man and I guess they wanted it to end the phase that way with tony stark dead and all, they also wanted to show the viewers that thanos is the man who BEAT the avengers (and help) with a short nostalgic sentence going back to the beginning of the MCU. (JUST MY OPINION)
