Nice! Nothing wrong with sapphires mate they are worth more than our gold efforts most of the time haha 😂 And yeah I find the occasional shard of it here but nothing like inverell

That is a great result from 2 buckets Hayden. Cool you find jems in your area, My wife and I stayed at "Billabong blue Sapphire park" just out of Innverell a couple of years ago. Great people who own it, great spot and I would rather camp on a farm stay than another bloody caravan park. No gems around my area, occasional fossils , black sand but some good gold. We stopped there for 3 nights , were the only people there + 400 head of Angus cattle! Enjoyed the fossicking, the owners even gave us a couple of Sapphires to keep.
