    Is it needed in a Port injection engine. Valves are kept clean by the gas, so why worry about recirculated oil vapor being burned off.

    Thanks for sharing the results! You'll notice more of the "milkshake or coffee" color in the colder months, this is due to condensation mixing with the oil in the catch can.

      Ah! thanks for the reply! It was well below freezing the last time I checked the catch can and it was a caramel coffee color!

      It simply filters the oil vapor out of the crankcase air and allows the clean air to pass through. System functions as normal.
