BANDITS IN 2024
40 hp is good for hc and life stacker
15% resist is nice to pick because in the early game we are lacking resistance. I assume that this is our 1st character in league so we dont have goldrim.
But the winer is a 8% ms like man scion can get 3% ms for 1 point and i always go for it but here we got 8%. Its nice bonus because in act 2 what ms bonus we can have? 40% from qs flask 10-15 ms from boots and some notes from tree or from karui ward if we are lucky and drop this early.
@@nater8410 8% for only 1 pasive point is a lot. Except in the Voices of 1 passive esenario, any pasive worth much like 8% ms 😁
As a blight farmer i gave this video a prayer
This is pretty much the same thought I had when they dropped that teaser, it makes the most sense to me that it was mainly to free up more design space for the passive tree regardless of if they need it now or sometime later.
And the new secret anoints are likely just a consequence of them needing something more than the existing 11 anoints to make the new oil worthwhile and exciting.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if they buff some of the existing secret anoints as well now that they will require a new and more expensive oil.
Fuck. It makes sense. I'm overdosing on Copium man
Last league was so bad I figured we'd be getting a real barn burner this time. Just the QOL changes already are huge. They're adding multiple features we've been waiting a decade for, boss bars, auto waypoints and the huge loot range increase. We're not even at the end of the teasers yet.
you realize last league had a shit ton of qol right? doesn’t mean the league will be good
I can only imagine how much pressure Mark and his team feel after the bust that was Necropolis. I'm expecting some crazy stuff too to keep the fanbase excited and willing to return.
@@jeffypwnzu Last league had farrrr more negatives in comparison to the upsides. It's literally one of the worst performing leagues, with one of the most tedious league mechanics. I don't think it's the worst league in the game that goes to Lake of kalandra, that being said it's wasn't good
@@MasterChief-ie2xu i mean i still played this league a lot but it was sort of a beta test with the new atlas changes and t17s, the league mechanic was pretty boring but if you didnt focus on optimizing it you could still make insane gear/profit with no effort just by picking up all your own corpses and doing like a craft a day or w/e. if the economy didnt explode like 3 times this league it probably wouldnt of died so hard
@@jeffypwnzu True the only "good" part of last league was how easy it was to get pretty great gear, though the crafting mechanic was annoying as hell though.
Corpses was a clutter mess, to craft it was a tedious with all of running around and clicking, and to top it off waiting the item takes wayyy tooo long with all the dialogue.
T17s was way too over tuned as well, I play hardcore most of the mods literally were unplayable for most builds. I dropped the league before they "Fixed" the issues, though I'm still told it's over tuned. Idk why they locked ubers behind content that actively harder than it due to how rippy some of the mods are.
Did make profit off of selling gear though
I'm trying to keep my expectations low, they do seem to be scrambling to the finish line with PoE2. Your reasoning is pretty solid I'm just not sure they have the man power for big PoE1 changes rn, but hell even some of these teasers surprised me, so we'll see what they've got cooked up.
I think they'll go pretty hard on 3.25. Necropolis was a let down for many and usually when they have a 'bad' league, they bounce back in the next one
You summarized my thoughts and theories perfectly. That's also my take on the new oils.
Good thoughts. Some build defining annoint-onlys would be really exciting, as long as they’re not vengeance-cascade-alike pseudo-mandatory ones.
I just want to see very very niche nodes like the trap/mine one showcased. If that's anything to go by, I think we're in for some good additions
I could also see masteries being added as annointments?
Annointing those would be incredibly powerfull as you skip allocating the required wheel.
Wow, I haven't heard that suggestion yet, that would be awesome
@@dreamcore_gg Awesome maybe, the right step? 🤔 Masteries should consist of outstanding build value, gated behind significant investment for a reason.
But if this is right, Stranglegasp will be Polymath’s best friend 😉
Yes, this makes a lot of sense. However, I don't think they will add a lot. I think it's more future proofing.
Yeah I don't see too much in the way of new additions either. Will be interesting to see if they will tweak many of the existing skills, especially if they're doing large changes to armour etc. will the nodes be changed as well
Yeah exactly my thoughts... Probably some tree changes, it is needed at least for my favorite chaos skills. :(
They could also have just added prismatic oils as a non corrupted version of tainted oils. So it would require 4 oils (or 5 oils on a corrupted item) to get the additional hidden passives. Then they could add about 400 hidden prismatic recipes
I think you're right about making space, I think *some* of them will be niche build-defining notables, but I think the black+ tier oils will be more universally strong, especially the golden/Silver/prismatic and the 2xgold/prismatic recipe.
Personally, I'm hoping that there is at least one "trip" of options that are very synergistic and create a new build from the blight uniques. I'm hopeful that there's some insane pair that works very well with Ivory Tower.
Anybody ever noticed that GGG striped the skilltree of all support for 'Channeling Skills' years back? Still baffles me, as many skills are not used very much because they lack in power and therefore punishing you by staying in place for too long.
I really think there could/should be one or even two wheels coming back at some point.
I wonder how the prismatic oils will work? Will they be like one more oil among three? Or it will be as in the case of Tainted oils, as a requirement apart from the three basic ones that we need. Because that would open the range even more and determine its cost in a trade league.
i was thinking the prismatic oils will be like the corruption oil. its fills the 4th slot. so you can take all the current available notables from the skill tree, change them, make them more specific to a build type, and increase the power.
But then how would you anoint an anoint-only notable onto a corrupted piece of gear?
I thtink your theory is spot on
I wish blight would give a special craft to allow to annoint gloves, boots and helmets again. (aside of the blight uniques)
day dreaming that they will expand the possibility to anoit to other gear or al least expand to rings (not only for blight maps)
that would take the flavour away from blight uniques, doubt it would happen soon
Bleed league? No way if we can use Rupture i woudnt believe it
They will rework the best notables to take the new oil. Whispers of doom will most likely be 3x prismatic oils.
I don't think they'll change passive tree recipes. The prismatic oil was added to allow them to create new anoint-only notables in 3.25 and beyond
So we go from 13C3 = 455 to 14C3 = 560? That's a lot of headroom indeed!
I can't even imagine what they could assign to a triple prismatic oil notable. Perhaps some sort of flask booster (mini mage blood). Would have to be generic for most builds like whispers of doom, but on steroids.
We don't know if they'll use Prismatics for notables on the tree, we only know they'll be used for all of the anoint-only recipes, so the 560 for now is only for those nodes. Even if they don't though, this change still frees up 11 recipes for a total of 41 unused right now which is a lot of room. They can still use Prismatic oils on normal nodes too later down the line if they want
And here they are, claiming that you'd never need the math you learn in school. :D
DIVINE POWAH
Maybe even 4 oils for anoint instead.
i am already oiled up for 3.25
👀
As a spore huffer, my pogs levels are very high right now.
Just adding a regular new color of oil and adjusting current combinations allows for exponentially more combinations, so i dont think prismatics oils serve to that purpose
hope to see good new anoint only things for sure
Using a new oil specifically for anoint only nodes allows them to 'price' those nodes accordingly, which they wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. Of course they could add a new colour and change up current recipes but they are probably happy with a lot of the current ones
1:41 what's that "gear icon" there on the towers?
The small gear at the bottom? I'm not sure, the bigger gear is the upgrade option, but this footage is from the blight teaser release so likely a prototype before it went into the full game
@@dreamcore_gg hope that means there will be option to lock towers upgrades -
Blight oil hype
Blight Rework? New oil part of Rework?
Damn, so when are they releasing COPIUM league?
Off base? Maybe but content is content even if speculation 😂
im hoping for GOOD changes but so far, ggg has been less hit than miss. :/

Great. More inventory space needed.
you must be fun at parties....
