I normally camp with a dual sport motorcycle. I have a 150cc scoooter and never thought about camping with it. Think I just might give it a try. Thank you for sharing 😊

Scooter camping sounds fun! That's pretty cool that you got a chance to go out there and do it.

It was fun and kind of unnerving. I’m not use to setting up camp off a road. I like deep in the woods and hidden away. Unfortunately, my area doesn’t have any off road trails so I can’t just ride out into the woods without risking trouble lol

You could use the exhaust as a heater or to warm up food.if you have a snorkel to divert the exhaust out of the tent or leantoo.

I use a tarp as a leantoo.off the scooter.and a back packing reclining chair as my tent incase it rains.

@TheOutdoorExperience technically neither but unless I find riding buddies it's hard. Buuuut I live in miami so that means scooter rides to key west are the next best thing!! I made a video on my youtube for my last trip!

@@arnoldmaclean1901I’m in the same boat with the riding buddies. I need one for a 600 mile trip from Missouri to Ohio but none of my friends ride. So I’m just gonna stick around home until I get a few good long distance rides within my state.

Good to see you out and about... I've noticed that Walmart is not stocking your Ozark Trails Tee Pee tent anymore, which I think they had a second gen since you bought yours.... They now are selling a bell tent.. Kinda of a tee pee tent with short vertical side walls.... I bought the Ozark Trails pop up Tee Pee tent at the end of last year... I'm hoping to get out there soon and enjoy a fine camp spot in a grove of aspens or in the thick of the pine tree forest...
Just be sure to pack all the time everywhere..the world is full of crazies...
Thanks for sharing n' watch your top knot...

I've seen that new teepee tent and I don't think I'm a fan of the design. It's like a cross between teepee and a yurt lol. Thanks for watching and enjoy your camping trips.

Why you parked the scooter inside the tent ? Security reasons ? . I am thinking of doing the same in my Suzuki burgman 400 . Stealth camp . But near towns ? With all the twikers. Greetings from s.o. A.Z .

This was the first time I ever camped near the parking lot. I usually like to hike out deep in the woods. I didn’t want to leave my brand new scooter out in the open. So I brought that tent with me just for parking it inside.

I’m interested in where did you buy your food? So you just add hot water and it’s ready to eat. I just bought a Freedom Storm 150cc. I plan on camping out and visiting some State Parks here in Oklahoma. I enjoyed your video and the advice you shared. Happy trails and stay safe out there.

I’ve seen it done with scooters in the scooter cannonball but I’m not sure if I’m ready for that. I like the idea of long scooter trips but not so much camping along the way. I would just pack light and stop at motels during the trips. Camping is more of a fix for me. I go camping, then I’m good for awhile until I get the urge again lol.

i so wanna do what your doing. love the idea of putting the scooter in the tent away from possible thieving eyes. I just got me a yamaha zuma 125 and plan on doing this! great ideas my man. But i think ill bring me a small cooler or tiny box with ice packs or something, some pre patted burgers and grill some burgers near dark a big bag of chips some coca cola. be a good time. Another idea you can do to is get a portable rechargable tv. i bought one on qvc and it works great so you can have some comforting tv noise when it gets dark. i Look forward to it. I hope you go camping again and please video it. each time bring different goodies with you, food and gear. see what that awesome little scooter can hold.

Thanks for watching. Scooter camping is definitely fun. I want to do it again. I just gotta get use to camping near roads. I like hiking out deep in the woods and hide away lol. Unfortunately there are no riding trails where I live. I would love to just ride out into the woods and find a remote area to pull off into.

When I used to go motor cycle camping I never missed the TV, but I did bring a portable transistor radio with me.
These days I’d probably take one of those Sagem emergency solar radios, complete with clock and torch. I’d also probably also take a Nintendo DS XL with game cards like chess; solitaire; 100 classic books, etc., which should cater for all entertainment needs.
I used to do an arduous commuter 1150 mile trip from Melbourne to Brisbane over 2 days, camping overnight half way in a national park, just off the road. Made sure I never left a trace behind.
