I drink just like you. I relate to every single word here. Today I’ve got 3,082 days straight with no alcohol, and it’s still one day at a time. But as you go on, life gets unimaginably better, and as life gets better, it gets easier to leave that old habit in the rearview.
Me too, MurayToo. I’m done with drinking. Hopefully forever, but I know it’s easier to say without a cold drink in front of me. Here’s a non-alcoholic toast to becoming better. Cheers lad 🤝
Everything you said resonates with me.... I've just had enough of hangovers steeling my precious time... Booze is bringing no value to my life anymore... 14 days without a beer which is good for me.... I feel a new man already so yes we can do this 🙏👌
@@BeStill-zy5ye thanks for the vote of confidence.... Iam so determined to stay sober. My sleep is better my mind is much clearer my body feels better and this is only after 2 weeks. 👍👌👌
Amen bro try tea it gives you a natural high and there's all kinds I used to be an alcoholic in college. It copies the motions of drinking/smoking but replaces them at the same time. Start walking or jogging helps the mind when it starts drifting and it's easy to stick to. I pray peace fills your heart and strength is with you.
Like yourself I’m Not an alcoholic, however I have a serious serious problem when it comes to binge drinking. I’ve decided recently after years of binge drinking to knock it on the head for 100 days. Hopefully once I get there I’ll quit I permanently
the key to avoid feeling like shit when you wake up is tolerance. you just need to become a better alcoholic. 3:01 "i've never been an alcoholic" Busted!
You’re right, it's a fact that quitting booze not only makes your world a better place to be in, good things start to “magically” happen and the energy is insane! Steffon Barkload's stuff, that’s the best shortcut I go’ogled that took less than a week to work without suffering withdrawal.
im more of a weed man myself but i get it the drink is epic, ay man if you drink again just don't black out, none of this "oh i had a couple now im going all the way" shit, you can just get a little drunk feel nice, then also feel ok the next day because you drank proper water and got good sleep, that being said if you can't manage that probably just keep away from the stuff, makes ya drink makes ya think
Unfortunately I just don’t have that self control to stop once I start. I wish I did. It’s probably better for me to just stay away from it all together like you say 😊
You give a laundry list of behaviors associated with problem drinking (hangovers, binging, feeling bad for a week etc.), and then you claim that you are not an alcoholic. You can't be serious.

Wow that’s an amazing streak, well done! 👏 I’m glad life gets so much better, I’m looking forward to it 😁

Yeah man there’s so much more to life than spending it ill in bed recovering for just a few hours of feeling good! We can do it 🙏
14 days your good brother. No physical dependent now. After 2 weeks it's all out of your system. Don't go back

Thank you for the advice bro I appreciate your support! I’ll try and have some tea if I ever feel myself craving a drink 😁
Same problem here. I finally quit after my last pub crawl on December 9th. I'm subscribing to see how it goes for you.
Good man, let’s keep it going! 👊
Good luck man. Smash those fitness goals!
Thank you bro I appreciate it 👊

@@MurrayToo I most certainly will, I’m adamant to leave the embarrassment and shame of binge drinking behind forever. Cheers

Hahaha I’d rather just stay away from the stuff now but if that works for you 🤷♂️😆
Whatever it takes to quit. Replace it with the gym, or something thatll help you. Nature walks help too, clears the mind to walk.
Thank you man! I’ve been interested in trying hillwalking, maybe now I’ll have the motivation to start doing it 😁
Keep going
💪

I stopped on Friday. So much money and getting fat.
Good choice man, keep it up! 💪
Do it without talking about it
👍🏽👍🏽
🙌
The easiest way to do it is to just do none of it
Absolutely! I just hope I can keep this streak up 🙌
@@MurrayToo you can, just remember how bad you'll feel that you broke it
@@MinstrelSauce Yeah that’s true, I would feel terrible for breaking it!

To my knowledge an alcoholic was someone who constantly drinks and craves alcohol but I guess I was wrong.
