There's been an update to the Lady of the Dunes case: she was identified as Ruth Marie Terry late last year using DNA genealogy. It's suspected that she was ended by her new husband who was suspected of ending and mutilating his first wife and child in Seattle. Unfortunately he passed in the early 2000s so he can't be questioned or held accountable for her passing.
Not locking your door is such a strange concept to me. Is it a thing in America to leave open windows and doors? Anyway, love you Lazy!!!!! I needed your voice today.
It kind of depends where you live in America. Larger cities and towns you'll find people have security systems, locks, guard dogs, and the like. More rural areas where crime is really low people tend to be less secure. I've had homes where I could leave my front door open all day and night and only have to worry about a barn/wild animal getting in and tearing stuff up. Granted I always lock my doors and windows regardless.
Yes I live in a rural area and in the summer we used to leave our backdoor wide open pretty much all day and night. Windows were open all summer except for when it rains. Other times we have left our front door unlocked by accident sometimes for days on end and nothing ever happened. We're more careful now that the opioid crisis has reached our area. We've seen an increase in theft. I have a security camera now but growing up they were pretty much unheard of.
Lolla Orban totally depends what city you live in! My family home is in a very nice suburb where crime is nonexistent, so we never locked doors and windows except at night to sleep. I live in the north east of Scotland. I lock my doors at night but only since ive had kids. I hardly ever lock my car. I guess that could sound reckless to some but theres just not much crime here, especially violent crime.

IKR? I can't tell if it was fiction In which he came up with a bunch of super specific names to make it sound more realistic *_Or_* There is somewhere in the world some guys that go by those names.
@@urwrstntmre They really are much more scary than any skinwalker, fleshgait, or wendigo, because humans know true fear. These creatures mimic us, but they can't replicate they horror humans are capable of.
Aye... Paranormal stuff just screws with my brain and makes me a bit jumpy. The stories about the horrors humans pull off that scares me to the bone and makes me feel repulsed.
I have to finish any horror movies I start or I'm unable to move on, I start obsessing about the movie. If I watch a movie about ghosts, monsters, or aliens, once I finish it I'll never think about it again with fear. However, if I watch one where humans are the monsters, for example "The Visit", I have nightmares about it and I become really jumpy and just generally creeped out.
I feel like paranormal entities and phenomenon are projections of the human mind designed unknowingly to explain and help cope with the true horrors of the human psyche. That something else is responsible and capable of doing horrible things to you is much more reassuring than to know that it is you that is the threat. That the worst intentions are somewhere within your mind desperate to escape.
In the story of Brandon Lawson, I find it disturbing that there were at least two gunshots that were fired while he was speaking and Brandon mentioned blood or bleeding, yet the 911 operator didn't seem to take his call very seriously and the police/sheriff didn't follow up. The operator didn't ask what field he was in, either.
je moeder my uncle has partial albinism. He has dark hair and blue eyes, and his skin is pale but not like a stereotypical albino person-more like a guy who stays indoors a lot. He is also only partially blind from it. I think albinism can present differently from person to person
There are various types of albinism. I don’t entirely remember which one, but one is more often prevalent in people of African origin and can cause red or light reddish-brownish hair and pale skin
The story about the guy walking along the country road to meet his buddies at the bar being followed by a woman humming a song and losing 3 hours of his time was particularly good.
So, this is really random lazy, but last new year on this day I wrecked my car listening to your videos, (your video did not make me wreck or anything, someone side swiped me and made me spin out and flip my car on ice, but listening to you is a little more scary for me now, when it use to be kinda calming... Anyways. 1 year anniversary of not dying. lol
@Avacato In Space Oh I'm perfectly ok. My Subaru was super strong and the whole outside of the body was wrecked, but I was perfect untouched aside from a lot of jerking around.
He wasn´t referring to himself. It was written that way from whoever wrote that post. He reads other peoples stories as u already know;) Edit: sry, might be wrong but thought u "answered" the way one story started. "Excuse me for not being an ´amazing´ storyteller". Cuz that´s not his words. He´s just the messenger.
After all the times I’ve listened to Brandon Larson’s 911 call, this is the first time I ever heard someone say “Help me” at the end. That whole case is just weird.
He also says at the beginning that ........, not sure if that parts a name or an insult or something like that, screwed some guys over right here, going towards Abiline. From what I hear it seems he was trying to save some other people. He says they got the first guy. There is at least 1 maybe 2 people with him when he makes the phone call. I thought he said a capper screwed some guys over and it didn't make sense to me till I just looked it up and in America a capper is a liar or a fake.
@@taniaroberts3366 I heard that too...I just thought I heard wrong...He definitely wasn't high I just think he was scared...They chased them in the woods got me...I was like omg...Please hurry he said...It was almost like he got quite because they were on them or he walked up on them while on the phone...Or the sheriff may have done something not realizing he needed help...Its definitely disturbing
The Szondi test is extremely general; sort of like how horoscopes work: vague enough that the things it gets wrong can be ignored, while naming characteristics that most people experience in their lives to emphasize accuracy. It's like those TV mediums who ask leading questions to customers to imply that they are really being guided by otherworldly influences. If you tell someone that their choice of picture will give insight into their personality, a form of confirmation bias will convince them that the test is accurate when any detail feels relevant to personal experience.
I chose 3 because he looked like my former stalker. The answer was accurate and the other answers wouldn't have worked for me. I dont know how accurate the test is, and I do beleave the answers are broad enough to be like a horoscope. But I do also understand the psychological aspect.
See for me it worked still. I chose my top 3 and it mainly worked for me because I have adhd, ocd and depression. My top 3 all had those or similar traits because of those mental illnesses. Generally it is like a horoscope but I did find myself relating to my top 3 more than the others.
Was listening to this while driving down long, dark, creepy texas roads in the middle of nowhere to my job site out of town. Thank you so much for the entertainment! I love creepy stories when taking long drives at night! It was perfect.
I LOVED this long collection of stories.....I drive frequently and it's great having something to listen to on long trips and not having to find another video to watch every 10 minutes! 😊
I think Brandon's history + police coverup + withheld information from Kyle, Kyle's gf, and Brandon's wife, is probably the best way to finish that story. Small towns have a lot of shady shit go down. My great uncle murdered 2-3 people, beat his wife and son mercilessly and the Good Ole' Boy system still kept his name clean. There is redemption. As my grandfather was passing over from this dimension to the next, he told us he was seeing heaven (or some amalgumation of it) and that *his brother wasn't there.* LOL. Karma's a bitch.
Yeah, fact he had a warrant/was into drugs really gives me the vibes that the police didn't put any real effort into it. I don't live in a small town, but I live in the South and that's at least my experience. (Lots of crime here, one of the worst states lmao. Not Texas, but close by, dunno if it's the same there, but def have issues with police bias here (not getting political, just talking in terms of warrants vs imminent danger)
I live in a small town. My first husband was a true POS, abusive to me and our son, treated his entire family like they were just there to give him money and support him and his lifestyle, intimidated anyone that disagreed with anything he thought or said. When he got arrested for stealing from a walmart, obviously they saw that we came in together. They also saw that I was nowhere near him while he was stealing things (I was grabbing the things we actually went for like diapers, groceries, etc while he wandered around pocketing stupid shit) and clearly I was not involved with his bullshit. I still got charged and even though it was my first offense, never been in trouble with the law even as a minor, they still gave me 30 days in jail. I did eventually get my chance to leave him and you better believe I took my 3 year old (I was also 6 months pregnant with our 2nd son) and ran for the hills. The courts and police in that town knew him his entire life, they knew what kind of awful person he is and HATED the very air he breathed. I just ended up going down too because they assumed we were the same
I literally JUST stumbled across your channel. I’m a huge MrBallen fan... the strange, dark, and mysterious told in story format... But my God, man!! Your voice is outstanding!! I love the accent and your soft intonations. You got me hooked! 🥰
The most nightmarish thing I can ever think of now, is getting my whole body, from whatever angle, sucked into a hole half the size of my waist. Agreed, anyone else?

So, ya think the "friendly unkle" was Ivan Millat?? As he says "i was travelling thru australia", i giggled "someone is going Wolf Creek on your ass", and then he finishes with "that guy was arrested for picking people up and killing them", i nearly choked on my giggle, wholy crap, imagine realising you slept at Ivan's house.. fk that, I'll stay at home thanks...
The thing about the the Szondi Test, is that it reminds me of that thing James Randi did about astrology, in which he got a bunch of volunteers to reveal their star signs, then send them a letter with outlining personality traits that were associated with their sign of the zodiac. The volunteers were amazed how accurate the assessments were. However, the letters they received were all the same and had no actual bearing on when they were born. No matter which face one picks, one could "truthfully" recognise those personality traits stated in oneself. Even if you don't, then it can be claimed "Ah! You're just _denying_ that you feel that!".
I dunno man, the face I chose is spot on when it comes to how I interact with the world and what people see me as. I could definitely see why you’d apply that conclusion here tho. Even though it was accurate for me, it’s most likely bullshit
Confirmation bias is definately a thing, but there's also points that you dont identify with. I only found 1 or 2 of the faces somewhat disturbing, and most of the statements didnt apply to me. About 3 did, semi, but the point still stands. Humans like finding patterns. Our brains automatically wire towards them. When there are large (usually varied) groups of people, with specific actions or friend groups, humans w i l l try and find a correlation. Star signs are bullshit, yes, but not all the star signs are relatable to all people, and they come from a human need to connect everything with each other. They're harmless in and of themselves. Just like Rorschachs are.
Mine was oddly accurate (number 6), it was kind of scary how the results were. Though some of my self worthless feeling come from some form of emotional trauma.
I chose number 5 and it's just... accurate. I mean, I'm sitting here with dye in my hair, doing my nails... I always dress well, in my eyes at least, but am still modest. I act like I don't like the spotlight but I came to realize about a year ago that i actually do like it, but in a very subtle way. I don't know how to describe it... Also I want a job that's not the norm because I feel like it wouldn't fulfill me, if I sit in an office all day doing "nothing" for society.
I love horror stories like these. Really remind you how even the “smallest” decisions can make or break human history. It would’ve been sooooo easy for history to have gone horribly wrong as we know it
"so what does it do?" "Do? that's the beauty of it. It doesn't *do* anything" I feel like the only plausible conclusion to that little snippet is that it's vague enough to BE anything but comes off as common enough to be at least FROM something. The reason why people would say, for example, Back to the Future is because this type of dialogue can be found between two character types. A character that serves as the audience's perception of events within the movie (Marty) and a character who answers any queries the audience may have (Doc Brown) Alot of movies, tv shows etc. have this format of dialogue. Which is why people try to place the pieces together in their mind. Personally i don't think it's really from anything but it COULD be and that's the point of it I guess.
Hello! As for this quote, I have a distinct image in my head. I think its Futurama, but I also see it as live-action. Like a kid/teenager asking about an object that this man is holding.
@@liliaalvarado7040 Yeah i see that too. It's common for movies etc to have this type of dialogue. Like i could come up with something on the spot that isn't even from anything but it sounds like it. "you can't do it by yourself" "I can't...but I have to"
The show was Burke’s Law and one of the character was played by Burgess Meredith(I only know that because I looked up his stuff when he died, loved him in Rocky)
I'm pretty sure it was from 1961's 'Lover Come Back' Starring Doris Day. An adv. exec is tasked with creating the next trend and makes up a fictional product called Vip. Hires DD to do a tv commercial for it. The quote was said to a coworker he enlisted to help him invent the actual product.
If I had to guess he either stumbled upon cartel activity or tweakers with rifles and was shot dead. In the call you can hear him say "[..]a sniper just crouch'n down over[...]"
I think the dispatcher thinks that when Brandon says he ran into them that he means he ran them over, but what if it means what it means in Britain - he ran into them, meaning he came across them? If so, it sounds like he came across a murder or attack on someone and that’s why he asked for the police and not an ambulance. If you’d run someone over, you’d ask for an ambulance first. My theory is that he came across something he shouldn’t have and those guys killed him to silence him and got rid of the body, possibly in their own truck or whatever. Even so, some bits of this theory don’t quite add up. There’s no yelling from the other guys whilst he’s making the call, like you’d expect from potential murderers, just a gunshot, which sounds like it could be a warning shot to me. 🤔
Thank goodness for algorithms. This is how I found your excellent story telling. I do subscribe to other channels that are excellent story tellers, but never have I completely stopped whatever I was doing to listen while hanging on to every word like I have listening to you! You have a new subscriber. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I laughed so hard at the Fleming/Churchill one because it sounded just like those memes that's a random story that ends like "and that boy's name? Albert Einstein." so I had to google it right away, and of course it's false, but I appreciate the laugh. That said I found this channel today and I've been binging it, really great content and I enjoy your narration!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE listening to your voice! It's so easy to fall asleep to! I've listened to similar channels that narrate scary stories but they don't even come CLOSE to yours! Thank you for your content!
I like to come back to that picture personality test now and again to see how I've grown and how well I've been able to work through and resolve negative emotions and tendencies. I've made progress this year and that makes me feel proud of me.
This was fantastic! Thoroughly the most interesting & enjoyable video/commentary I have ever stumbled across. I watched & listened to it from start to finish. I truly hope that each & every piece are true stories. I find it oddly interesting of how these were chosen to be grouped together. It was surprisingly perfect! Awesome job! Thx so much!!!
JessicaRabbit324 LMAO I thought I was the only person that does that. The down side is when it's time to get out to dry off I'm always to damn scared.lol. I'mma real man.😎
Really well written and narrated, not full of unnecessary detail and ramblings. This kept my interest from start to finish( not an easy task)....... Definitely one of the best out there.
My choice was pretty spott on but for 3 other pictures the descriptions would´ve been pretty acurate aswell. Almost all of them had some part which I could identify with which makes me think that this is more of the type of "very broard descriptions" horoscopes use to always seem atleast somewhat acurate.
I'm from Germany and about Gladbeck: My mom was going to school in Bremen, but on that specific day she was sick. When her family heard about hostage, they were shocked. Also my grandmother used to work at the roadhouse Grundbergsee where two hostages were realesed. Sorry for my bad english, but I'm still think about these coincidence, because my mom was at the same age as the hostage Silke Bischoff.
I think its strange that during the test, not one photo made me nervous or comfortable in any way. I would be okay interacting with all of them. When it came for the descriptions of each disorder/disposition, I found myself fitting perfectly into each one, without overlap. I just thought that was interesting, did anyone else feel the same?
I did NOT match up with the one I picked, but matched up with one or two other ones well. It’s a really interesting idea, but I don’t think the faces have anything to do with these descriptions
Well because of the quality/time of the pics...they all looked really creepy to me. And I was looking at it like well...there are definitely psycho and capable women out there...but I feel like I'm on more even footing so I'm not gonna pick a chick...then with the men its...the last one seemed harmless enough but of course he could be the worst of them all. I picked 7 in the end and it didn't match me. (I matched a little with all of them...schizophrenia even runs in my family)...but I was like...I think I did this test wrong lol.
#19 "Mister M" I don't know what's worse, that this happened or the aspect that when I DID try to look it up, using the keywords "call girl head box hotel" there's been like at least four or five times this has happened. Different cities and all.
No you wouldn't, that is a demon, waiting for the just the right time to inhabit your body. So never ever wish for things you have no idea not even in a joke .
Every time I see the picture of the guy crouching in the bushes from the stairway to heaven case, I just wonder if the guy never came forward because he was embarrassed they got a pic of him taking a shit in the woods.
#17 "The beauty of it" You can find several variations of the line in dozens of movies, but the exact wording of these two lines, not so much. Guardians of the Galaxy, for example, when asked about his walkman, Peter remarks "you don't do anything, you listen to it." (which, of course is doing something, but I digress). The point being that it's not really the wording that seems everywhere and nowhere, it's more the way it is said. Plenty of examples exist in which characters speak with this intonation and rhythm in a scene, stressing the word 'do' or making a similar corrective statement with this beat. For example, it was suggested that maybe it's from BTTF, the reason this seems plausible is not actually because of the words, but because of how Doc Brown says at the end of the film, "roads? Where we're going we don't need any roads." It's the same beat, rhythm. Think of the iconic line, "badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges." It's a familiar cadence. I think it becomes a mystery, a weird thing, because we are making it a mystery. That's my take on it, anyway. I mean, I use this cadence of speech in my classes a lot for comedic effect, so I found the entry interesting.
PETERRRRRRRR 😍 Yeah that does makes sense. It might not be that we heard it from one movie, but its just like a combination/variation from a bunch of other movies
I can see what youre saying but that seems a bit of a stretch. I remember that line specifically and clearly I am not the only one. What you are saying would be the equivalent of suggesting everybody would recognise "I will be coming back" as a famous line. Thats technically close to a line but nobody would recognise it in the same way. That line is from something, my guess is it may have been from some tv show in the 90s which maybe isnt really watched any more. Maybe something which never got a dvd release so people cant as easily find it now
"It's just an albino member of the tribe. Whose skin is much darker than albino skin. And has brown hair. And whose facial structure is that of someone of European descent."
"We need to get these people off our back! It's really killing our vibes." "We could....bring someone else in on it? It needs a woman's touch anyways." *CURB YOUR BLOOD CULT*
I've actualy said it before, qouted it even. I had no idea it was somethig like that. I always figured it was a saying ,or a parable. Something like that, just a saying,
Theres two places it can be attributed to. An episode of Burke's Law, and a play called Apocalyptic Butterfly. It is more directly quoted in the play, but both these sources are quite obscure. My personal guess is either it's been quoted in pop culture and the source of the quote isnt widely documented, like maybe a TV channel break snippet or commercial, or it was quoted in something much more mainstream that was indeed under the Mandela effect
I love the psychology test from the 1030’s. That was cool. My daughter rolled her eyes at it but in my opinion I think it’s accurate. I guessed (before asking her) who she would choose after I had already watched them all. She chose the one that I already thought would match her personality!! She said I was stupid for believing in pseudo science but it was still so cool.
I really like to suspend disbelief for those kinds of things and give them my best effort to find meaning in them. Not a single one of them described me, though. I picked picture #2, and it wasn't me at all.
Well, it's creepy how accurate that Szondi test was for me. I am going to have to run it on family and friends. I picked #3 and it was me to a T. My grandson has my personality to a T but it skipped a generation as my daughter is much more laid back and mellow than the two of us. We debate for fun and protest when she protests, "We're not fighting," usually in unison. It'd be interesting to see if grandson also picks 3 and what she'd and her fiancee pick. So making them do it, next time they're here for dinner.

The shit that humans are capable of doing to each other will always be more horrifying to me than any paranormal entity or phenomenon.
Yes! None of these narrators seem to understand that
@@urwrstntmre They really are much more scary than any skinwalker, fleshgait, or wendigo, because humans know true fear.

Me: Damn it!

dang it the humming really got me. i was getting goosy
I skipped over that one..gave me enough of the creeps the first time😂😂
What story was that?

In the story of Brandon Lawson, I find it disturbing that there were at least two gunshots that were fired while he was speaking and Brandon mentioned blood or bleeding, yet the 911 operator didn't seem to take his call very seriously and the police/sheriff didn't follow up. The operator didn't ask what field he was in, either.
That story about the Aztec/Inca cult sounds like a rated-R version of the movie "The Road To El Dorado".
Emma Feustel or green inferno kinda
I thought that too. I wonder if the movie was somewhat inspired by this
I was thinking the same shit. Like I imagine a scene from Cannibal Holocaust or something with Elton John singing "EL DORADO!"

Omg you’re so right
The rockefeller one..... Albino people have albinism, which means "everything is white" so it doesn't make sense that he has brown hair... does it?
je moeder my uncle has partial albinism.
ONE TWO SEVEN THREE DOWN THE ROCKERFELLER STREET!
If the albino man is wearing “war paint” it is possible something was smeared in his hair, making it appear dark.
I concur with the others in this thread, about partial albinism, but damn if that don't look a helluva lot like Rockefeller, either way! x'D
The story about the guy walking along the country road to meet his buddies at the bar being followed by a woman humming a song and losing 3 hours of his time was particularly good.
Calling it a “scary true story” is a bit silly though.

After all the times I’ve listened to Brandon Larson’s 911 call, this is the first time I ever heard someone say “Help me” at the end. That whole case is just weird.
And he said they're chasing us. Us??
He also says at the beginning that ........, not sure if that parts a name or an insult or something like that, screwed some guys over right here, going towards Abiline.
From what I hear it seems he was trying to save some other people. He says they got the first guy. There is at least 1 maybe 2 people with him when he makes the phone call.
I thought he said a capper screwed some guys over and it didn't make sense to me till I just looked it up and in America a capper is a liar or a fake.

That explains why my choice wasn't even close to accurate, lol!
Mine was actually accurate...it's creepy 😂

I just ended up going down too because they assumed we were the same
He was methin around
Living in Texas myself, I hate the Good Ole' Boy system so damn much.
He didn't say sniper or trooper, sounds like he said, "this guy"

I didn't think any of them were frightening.. What's that supposed to mean?
"So what's it from?"
"From? That's the beauty of it, it's not FROM anything!"
You deserve more likes…
I feel this has been said before but the way your tone changes from nearly chipper to utter dread thru the stories is what really makes me enjoy this.

The Winston Churchill story was absolutely WONDERFUL!! I Loved it! Thank you so much for sharing it!
I love horror stories like these. Really remind you how even the “smallest” decisions can make or break human history. It would’ve been sooooo easy for history to have gone horribly wrong as we know it
"so what does it do?"
"Do? that's the beauty of it. It doesn't *do* anything"
I feel like the only plausible conclusion to that little snippet is that it's vague enough to BE anything but comes off as common enough to be at least FROM something.
The reason why people would say, for example, Back to the Future is because this type of dialogue can be found between two character types. A character that serves as the audience's perception of events within the movie (Marty) and a character who answers any queries the audience may have (Doc Brown)
Alot of movies, tv shows etc. have this format of dialogue.
"you can't do it by yourself"
"I can't...but I have to"
The show was Burke’s Law and one of the character was played by Burgess Meredith(I only know that because I looked up his stuff when he died, loved him in Rocky)
But it has been in other clips also.
Man the Brandon Lawson case drives me crazy. I truly hope his loved ones can get the answers they are looking for sooner rather than later.
If I had to guess he either stumbled upon cartel activity or tweakers with rifles and was shot dead. In the call you can hear him say "[..]a sniper just crouch'n down over[...]"
@@denpabacon8501 on a sheriffs property?

Don't forget the other horseman "Not my story but..."

Does anyone like lazy’s videos before watching because you know it’s gona be awesome? 🙂
@Sam Kay you mispelled beautiful.
Thank you sir, a cocktail of horror just what i needed keep them coming 🙌
Found lazy masquerade, and I haven't stopped watching his videos since. So amazing!! Love the stories!!

i just recently found your channel and i love it. Your stories and the way you narrate is amazing. Never stop making these scary videos.😄
Wow, Im glad your mom avoided that horror show. Your english is pretty good actually, beats the hell out of my spanish LOL

Jesus Christ, that humming in the fourth story caused the hair on my arms to literally stand on end. I'm going to hear that sound in my nightmares.
That humming was unexpectedly creepy and caught me off guard.
Yeah, no kidding. Probably the scariest story I’ve heard from one of these videos. It triggers something primal in me. Fuck.
I've heard this story many times. Every time, I prepare myself for the humming sound and every time it just scares me.😂😂
Same. I was in the middle of cooking dinner and only halfway listening; when the hum happened I nearly dropped boiling pasta water on myself. O_O
@@SEReid-rz5bm 😂😂 I had moments like those too
I think its strange that during the test, not one photo made me nervous or comfortable in any way. I would be okay interacting with all of them. When it came for the descriptions of each disorder/disposition, I found myself fitting perfectly into each one, without overlap. I just thought that was interesting, did anyone else feel the same?
I picked out 4 people and fit the description of all four if that counts.
I did NOT match up with the one I picked, but matched up with one or two other ones well. It’s a really interesting idea, but I don’t think the faces have anything to do with these descriptions
I didn't match with the one I picked. But I saw myself in all of them.
Same here. I looked for a minute straight too. I said 2 because of the look on his face but thats it. Nothing deeper about it.
6:52 "then, they'd take their axes and the theif would end up having.... an AXident"
You could say they "KILLED" him with "AXES." IF you know what I mean. ;)
#19 "Mister M" I don't know what's worse, that this happened or the aspect that when I DID try to look it up, using the keywords "call girl head box hotel" there's been like at least four or five times this has happened. Different cities and all.
I usually dismiss these videos, but I have to say I really enjoyed every minute of the video. Great narrator and stories alike. Great job!!
These are the perfect sleeping stories for me... idk, they're better than soundtracks for me :D

And risk be dubbed, The Phantom Shitter or Poop Bandit
PETERRRRRRRR 😍
Yeah that does makes sense.
Maybe something which never got a dvd release so people cant as easily find it now
Remember this saying and the question following it was first put together in 1995. People at that time felt the same as well.
@Olivia De La Rosa maybe from a show much earlier then, when I was a kid a lot of repeats from 60's and 70's shows were on tv still.
@@paulosullivan3472 "I'll be back" ? Is that the quote?
The one with the dog in the background of that guys picture is one of the only times I have gotten chills down my back
"It's just an albino member of the tribe. Whose skin is much darker than albino skin. And has brown hair. And whose facial structure is that of someone of European descent."
"We need to get these people off our back! It's really killing our vibes."
"We could....bring someone else in on it? It needs a woman's touch anyways."

"Once it's got ya. *It's Got Ya.* "
I'm sorry I can't forget about that video that explains Delta P. It's honestly really fascinating.
I feel like the machine one, asking “What does it do?” Is just so easy to imagine and so vague, that people feel like they recognize it.
I've actualy said it before, qouted it even. I had no idea it was somethig like that. I always figured it was a saying ,or a parable. Something like that, just a saying,
When I read the words, I kinda imagined an old man saying it. Like the voice you'd imagine with a mad scientist or something?
But if that's the case, why can't the same effect be replicated with other quotes of a similar format?
Theres two places it can be attributed to. An episode of Burke's Law, and a play called Apocalyptic Butterfly. It is more directly quoted in the play, but both these sources are quite obscure. My personal guess is either it's been quoted in pop culture and the source of the quote isnt widely documented, like maybe a TV channel break snippet or commercial, or it was quoted in something much more mainstream that was indeed under the Mandela effect
The quote reminded me of something you'd find in a Willy Wonka movie.
I kept thinking he was going to say..."and there he stood, the Hash Slinging Slasher!!!"
LOOL aah a person of taste i see 😌✨

I love the psychology test from the 1030’s. That was cool. My daughter rolled her eyes at it but in my opinion I think it’s accurate. I guessed (before asking her) who she would choose after I had already watched them all. She chose the one that I already thought would match her personality!! She said I was stupid for believing in pseudo science but it was still so cool.

Listening to a “Top Creepy Stories Compilation of 2018”, from Lazy, is a good start to 2019.
The Szondi test was disturbingly accurate
I really like to suspend disbelief for those kinds of things and give them my best effort to find meaning in them. Not a single one of them described me, though. I picked picture #2, and it wasn't me at all.
"It was 11:15 PM."
I looked at my bedside clock when you said that, and it was legit 11:15 PM. Shudder.
I really like the stories with photo and video evidence. It gives me chills to see what they saw
Love the way you narrate.. Have been playing your stories via speakers in the dark, always so haunting.
I was a strong 3 with a moderate 2, and it fits.
I also picked 3 then 2 and i am amazed at how spot on it was
I picked 5 and it was right but i could easily fit 3 or 7 too
I was a strong 3 (because the eyes were so black with that creepy smile) and described me pretty damn well. The 5th would have been my 2nd choice.
What if all 8 of them looked sketchy?

Indian Summer that would be Stephen King's son, according to Wikipedia. Controversial!
What I don’t get is why the extra or her family haven’t come forward. If anyone was hearing that people think they’re a Jane Doe then they’d want to clear that up, right?
That’s what really sells me that it’s her and that maybe, just maybe, her family was involved.
