Now you can fix your lack of soil problem in Verde Beach without having to dredge the ocean floor! Looking forward to seeing what all you can do with this. Looks promising so far.
haha within seconds understood exactly why they chose you for this. buy and sell soil, you must have been grinning your head off when you learnt about that, as well as flattening the terrain. Enjoy your videos as always
@The Injured Thank you for the kind words!!! I'll be doing a full tutorial in episodes 15 and 16! First episode will release on the 25th, second on the 27th!
Phil you little... well I don't know what the male equivalent of a minx is but you're it! Happy to see you here and can't wait for the DLC to...land...on your builds! Cheers!😊
CPP - The god send of Cities Skylines ❤️ I love your content brother!! Can’t wait to see this adapted in Verde Beach or Clearwater County - also hats off to Giants for picking a great spokesman
Of course City Plays would have a fire raging somewhere in his city. This DLC looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to picking it up when it comes out.
@@Nhatanh0475 That particular player is a urban planner by trade, and they keep the pipes under the road as that's where they go in real life. Of course it doesn't matter in-game, but IRL running pipes elsewhere requires obtaining an easement- whereas the road is already government property 99.9% of the time
I love the modular stuff! My suggestion for what to do in modular areas next would be two things that could really benefit from it. Leisure beaches (also allowing the painting or 'cleaning' of sand areas), and large cemetaries (also allowing the import/export of bodies for cities that are/aren't built to handle them - for a huge cost either way, of course).
I think the modularity/district idea should be used in a lot of areas, like beaches and cemeteries as you said, but also train and ship cargo hubs could really benefit from some modularity. Big business campuses, military installations, science centers (like CERN), power plants (this one I think would be cool because you could keep the steam turbines and upgrade though coal, oil, nuclear, and add more turbines).
@@Boogeyman0579 ooh I like the power plants idea! The military base one too, although I think I heard they're trying to avoid the game getting militarised, so that one's unlikely I think.
This is quite literally the best DLC I could ever hope for. I am in ATC and have always loved Airport design. This is a godsend for me. THANK YOU, MEGA EXCITED
0:24 it's lovely to see two cargo planes taking off in a very realistic way at the same time in the same runway and the other two planes in the taxi way becoming one plane.
Okay, I already love this DLC just for auto-flattening using a bigger brush than otherwise is possible. lol. :P And paid soil export, didn't expect that! That's cool! :D
0:25 Southwest 2506 and Delta 1345 cleared for takeoff runway 12, unrestricted climb to cruising altitude approved. I want to see some top tier drag racing up there boys. -Ground Pound 69 [Allegedly]
YES, you got Phil involved doing the tutorial! He's the best on YT when it comes to Cities Skylines (although, there are some amazing creators; Biffa, Overcharged Egg, etc.). Can't wait to down load this DLC!!
A much better look at the new DLC than steamed versions from Cities: Skyline. I might now buy it. Short, sweet, and to the point. Also, bonuses for not showing the same unhelpful 1:15 minute video like everyone else did, thanks.
I was originally only planning on getting this for the achievements, but these features look super useful, especially disposing of excess soil for a fee since I love making flood-wall cities below the water level. Thanks so much for this collaboration video! I'm genuinely excited for this now, especially since the base-game airports tended to look a bit small and airplanes would do really tight turns in mid-air. I'm hoping to get to combine passenger and cargo airport functionality so I don't have to have two airports.
This is the kind of system that I wish industry had. Super happy to see it. I Do wish the soil purchase change was native to all players tho. Not just those who buy this dlc.
So you got the DLC ahead of everyone else! Ooooh Biffa's going to be jealous!! 😁 Seriously though that's going to be a 👍 nice build 👍 for your city of Tutoria! (Although I would put in a mile long runway minimum. 25 units or 400m = 1320 feet is just too short for jet planes)
Dude! It was just yesterday you were playing on your laptop and getting your feet wet on C:S. And now, look at you, collaborating with Paradox! Keep flying (no pun intended)!
Wow, this looks amazing.... So much better than I thought it would be, can't wait to get my hands on this dlc... I wish sunset harbour had gone much more like this (I wish disappointed there wasn't a beach park theme, with beach props that would work with the fishing industry stuff) More like this paradox!
This is like a dream come true. I thought all the pre-DLC airport stuff was cool, but difficult to build. Now that modular airports are an official part of the game I’m going to town on airport expansions!
I saw this and thought "A new CPP video? I didn't see this in my notifications!" And then I realized... I can't wait to try this out and also see what people can do with it!!
I bet you are LOVING the self leveling terrain and soil dump. It was really cool to also see this being utilized in Tutoria. Been keeping up on all the episodes. I can't wait for the Jan 25th to drop this on Steam. Have it in my wishlist.
I am so excited for this DLC... Can't wait to see this application in the current builds of CWC and VB! Also - what a game changer to be able to purchase soil. No more soil cheese!
If you think that setting the district is during the planning phase, it makes since that right after planning would be preparing the land. I think you should have that option for either flattening or leaving the district topography as is. Neighborhood in my area are 100% flattened or graded down prior to building.
Phil, you must gleeing inside for the thought of buying soil! No more dredging the ocean floor & raising Milligan island will be a breathe now! Looking forward to that one!
This looks amazing............. There's going to be some late nights coming up......... Is it the 25th yet? Also very glad they picked you to give us the sneak peak!
this dlc looks amazing, but i am really disappointed the planes themselves haven’t been fixed. they still circle like birds and shoot straight up after takeoff. while much of the vehicle simulation in the first place isn’t realistic, it still kinda sucks we can have such realistic airports but not realistic planes.
I love the way disrticts are used. It would be great if districts were used more vertatily in other ways, like being able to restrict city services to one area and encourage people to travel locally. That could make builds like Clearwater County a lot easier, or perhaps improve walkability and make cities a lot more realistic in how some areas improve while others decline.

Now you can fix your lack of soil problem in Verde Beach without having to dredge the ocean floor! Looking forward to seeing what all you can do with this. Looks promising so far.
Is there small regional planes that aren’t jets? I want prop planes like the one in sunset harbor
Cool video! Think I will be purchasing this DLC. Do you know if they added seaplanes?? That would be cool for seaside communities.
me!
if it isn't still under construction atleast (looking at you berlin-brandenburg)
Such a fun DLC! I had to stop myself from playing to make these videos 😂
Thanks so much for inviting me to collaborate!!!
Glad your getting recognition in TH-cam also just wanted to say you videos are helping me improve my own cities in cities skylines

Phil you little... well I don't know what the male equivalent of a minx is but you're it! Happy to see you here and can't wait for the DLC to...land...on your builds! Cheers!😊
Selling and purchasing soil is god tier, what a great little improvement! Lovely seeing Phil here too!
I thought he meant you had to pay to dispose of soil, but either way a great feature
Yep. Getting rid of excess soil costs you $500 per ton (city capacity is 100 tons, you start with 50). Buying more soil is also $500 per ton.
Ppl will buy this DLC just for the fact they now can sell dirt for money.
Do we get that in the free patch?
Absoluty thought the same! Beside all the great airport content a really cool feature!
Oh man can’t wait for this!
Me either 🙂😁 gonna be sooooo good
I am sure your projects more beatiful than this DLC
So when are they gonna commision you for a content creator map pack? :) (I know we are about to get one but I'd love another with some of your work)
Can't wait to see you build Oceania's airport with this DLC!

Are you questioning @biffaplaysindiegames
Biffa isn't bad! Love his builds... but city planner has that Bob Ross vibe.
Amen! We absolutely need a Verde Beach International Airport (VBX)!
Yeah because imperatur is from another dimension
@@dougm4160 There is only one Bob Ross of Cities Skylines: Overcharged Egg
WOAH, Nevermind the airport. That ability to purchase Soil or pay a fee to dispose of Soil is amazing :D
Kind of strange both options requite you to buy it. Would be more logical if you could buy soil and sell to dispose of it
Maybe that's part of the free patch that will come with the update
@@alexpetrov3289 The feature isn't covered in dev diary #1 so this is likely correct.

Gotta have something for the nightly news to report...
They're gonna release a new Fire DLC just for CPP.
Oh the irony--part 2 is putting out fires at your airport because you plopped it on a bunch of trees using anarchy :)
2:25 Remembering to keep the water pipes under the roads… where they belong. 😄
If only water pipe was cheaper. Else grid pipe is much more finance. You can change road above how ever you like and they will still get full service.

maybe have big pipes for master roads, and smaller cheaper pipes to deliver water to houses.
