Just amazed how fluent and lively you talk these days. Its lively, no longer monotone, no major pauses or stumbling for words... Just an amazing transformation you did there.
He was having so much fun in this one 👌🏻
I love hearing his sense of humor and eagerness to share the amazing creations!
It took ages to record but thanks ❤️
@@imperatur we love you buddy! Thank you for all of your hard work and thank you for sharing your talented creations!
@@RhaenspotsI love positivity like yours man keep supporting people it’s nice to see
I didn't think you'd beat the airport in Evergreen tbh but the new aprons and those false taxiways into the runways are just chefs kiss 💋 mad inspiration again mate, superb airport 😳🙏
💋💋💋
Evergreen in whole but he just keeps reaching new heights! That airport is insane 🔥
@@imperaturimperatur gay confirmed?? 😅😅😳
10 hours on an airport this man is on a whole other level
That interchange in vanilla is incredibly impressive. Also the layers are really cool for the airport entrance.
Thank you:))
And I struggle with all the QoL mods to do half of that 😂
Bruuuuh this airport and highway connections is a beast 😮 I really like how you use large Space and different layers
Thanks bro!!:)
Imperatur, love the full commentary on this build and I like that you explained, it takes 10 Hours of creation this master piece! It's amazing how a couple of Mods can reduce your overall time. It's the truth, but your Vanilla builds are better than most people who actually use MODS to build with! Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next episode!
I agree. I’m on several content creator discords and when I look through the various “Share your City” pages, it ain’t even close haha. His ability to build what he does in vanilla is mind blowing.
That was epic! Really love the taxi ways and airport lay out.
Thank you😋🥰
This is great. You can really see the resemblance to LAX
I loved hearing more about your process! I would have never thought it took more than 10 hours for a build like this, and I never thought about the limitations of building from a fixed camera angle, but you're right, I swing the camera around all the time when I'm building.
I'm so impressed by how much Imperatur's Vanilla airports have come. They were already top tier in the beginning. But now, they are on a tier of their own. Absolutely amazing work with all of those apron techniques and the overall flow of the airport. It is just sooo realistic. Such a fantastic episode.
This one was perfect and your commentary was really balanced between being an expert, critical, annoyed, and pleased.
No i want to change my comment. Berlin should hire YOU to design their next airport! 😂 This is so cool. Taxiway detailing ideas and the decals is just next level.. again haha
The way you're building the roads is so magical!
My pc is overloaded with school stuffs right now so I haven't played cities skylines in a long time. Watching beautiful builds like yours makes up for it. Thank you.
This is the best airport ever built in vanilla. Hands down. You are the best and most creative city skylines builder. ❤
I think the best thing about your videos is how much your confidence has grown over time!
Very realistic and beautiful airport
Thank you:)
Mal wieder überwältigend 🔥💪🏻 Übrigens super, dass du uns mitgeteilt hast, wie lange du dafür gebraucht hast (hat mich immer schon interessiert, wie lange solche superbauten dauern) 😁
This is awesome! I love the way you line up with the aprons first! And your commentary is so funny!😂 great stuff!
i really like this new style of dynamic voiceover 💪, keep it up !
I‘m glad you like it❤️
Amazing work. The parklife paths for placing aprons and using them as shoulders is really impressive
Beautiful! You are the best Cities Skylines builder!!!!
Thanks buddy:)
Superb airport build, including all the infrastructure. What a behemoth! And that observatory? it's old, all the fancy dancy high-tech stuff will be up a mountain somewhere and the stuff here for students and possibly museum visitors to look at.
Love it, so beautiful
I‘m glad to hear that:))
Another great master piece & airport build role model from Imperatur 👍
The issues with the observatory placement isn't gonna be vibrations from the train it's gonna be light pollution from the city
Yeah true
Absolutely true and as a matter of fact, natural mountain ranges don’t transfer vibration like steel reinforced concrete does. They rather dampen vibration due to their different layers and mineral composition. Most modern observatories are even built on volcanic islands and the way stronger (higher amplitude and lower dampening) volcanic seismic waves aren’t a problem for them either. But as stated: An observatory near a city and close to sea level doesn’t make much sense in general.
Something I noticed and absolutely hate with these airports in the game are that no atc ( air traffic control ) is respected ( take off, landing at same time ) and the jets don’t use the gates properly, I really hope they will fix that in the cs2. However nice design mate
And the atc towers are waaay to small..
i am about to build my city's airport and needed inspiration. coming in clutch as always🙌
Your interchanges are mindblowing, so impressive
El mejor diseño de aeropuerto en Cities Skylines que haya visto. Excelente.
This is amazing, every time i feel tired of CS, you release a new video, makes me wanna go back to my 12% traffic city nightmare xD
i love your creations
(fact check: yes, vibrations can be caused by trains in tunnels. This also depends on how deep the tunnel is)
Another amazing job! I love your use of the decal from the Airport DLC. I'm doing the same. I also like to use a mod that is basically a 2U road, but they're the edges of taxiways. You can use the parallel tool in the network multitool to add them to the taxiway.
Also, I'm going to use your approach to building airports, build around the terminals. I like to use satellite terminals. Like at Orlando. I'm working on an airport based on Orlando International!
Ich finds super wenn du was dazu erzählst. 👌 Schöner Build mal wieder!
Nice, I've been working on an airport inspired by the same one. Using two Terminals for the U shape was a great idea.
Awesome, would love to see how your will turn out:)
You are such a talented builder
LOVE the videos!!
Thanks bro:)
Awesome build! Your best airport build yet in vanilla.
Thank youu!:)
He does it again folks! Builds an giant international airport and I love it!❤❤
Absolutely insane skills!
It looks amazing!
Great build, but my love is mainly for the imperator karaoke 😁 more of that please!
Looks nice and similar like lax aka los angeles international airport
With the name giving the hint my guess is Los Angeles international airport (LAX)
True:D
Holy Shit, This is Amazing!!! Cheers Mr. imperatur!!! (or whatever you are called)
You are not one level above my skills but 10 levels! I love your vids.
This is the BEST Vanilla International Airport ever created!
Thanks buddy!
Amazing video!
Thanks!:)
some of best content !!❤🔥
Very well done 🎉
Awesome airport !!
Simply awesome.
I love it !
I've been through LAX too many times to count, this build feels so similar excluding all the delays, construction, and traffic
This being your “last” feels so weird, but it is AMAZING!
So, about those vibrations: it's true that they could affect the observatory. I don't think they'd seriously damage any of the instruments, but the measures could be off by several millimeters. When we're talking about space observation, this can lead to massive errors.
Regarding the new format: I personally used to watch your videos in the library with the sound off, so I do miss having some text boxes to explain what's going on even if the voiceover goes into more detail. That said, the voiceover is a fine addition by itself. I do find, however, that you still need some practice, as your cadence often comes off as very flat (to me, at least).
About the rest of the video, excellent job! You really are one of if not the single best vanilla CS player. If I were to find any fault, I think you often place train stations too close together, and it's really noticeable here, where one of the stations really only services the parking garages, and it causes the track to curve way too much in order to avoid the unique building. This was most noticeable in the city before Evergreen County, where your monorail stations weren't even a full train's length apart.
Sieht gut aus!
The layout that I need on my build 😍😍
impressive build
Thanks:))
I'm kind of sad we won't be getting this kind of airport construction in CS2, they look great and would fit right in with the more realistic scale of buildings in the sequel.
Great job on the airport mate. Also, it reminds me quite about Munich Airport, did you get the inspiration from it?
Nope it was only LAX:D
Oh ok 😂
I am confinced the airport is not modelled after Schönenberg as this one is accepting planes 😂
😂😂😂😂
Nice Video, espetually what you build.
Because the tunnel under the observatory, in Berlin they had the same problem in the underground/subway (maybe at the U2, I don't now already now where) (update, it's at the Alexanderplatz under the Rotes Rathaus), but they placed rubber mats under the gravel bed (google translator) do their job.
Amazing 😮😮
I belive this is the Newark International Airport or somewhere in the New York area. Also, are you still going to consider the diamond mine idea? I would love to see that!
mate its KLAX. he literally gave the worlds biggest hint 😂
But I agree, a mine would be cool
Nope haha LAX😂
Dude, not everyone can read or understand a fast video like this.Damn.
The concept of the build is incredible. However, I don't like the idea of using the park paths because there are street lights and benches on them. Also, there's some massive traffic building up at the airport!
As a console player, my attention to detail fights with the game mechanics of roads and stuff lol
10hrs of work in just 10 minutesn😱
ich finde du baust so geile sachen!
Great work once again, however the point of more runways in the first way is to have runway oriented in some other direction in case of bad wind conditions so the planes can land safely. So the fact you made the runways parallel is bit unfortunate in my opinion 😪. Yet as I said at the beginning, great job overall I enjoyed myself watching this. Btw in case of the train tunnel under observatory, there are made on stable base so they limit the vibrations that might cause inconveniences, yet there are ways to isolate either train rails or the equipment for observation, yet both are expensive as hell, not sure if there are strict restrictions for underground structures in area around necessary and was lazy to check
Looking at the title I think you’re proud of this one lol
Richtig cooles Design. Vielen Dank für das Video.
Kommst du aus Deutschland?
I really like this video but i prefer when you take more your time and when we see more what is really happening and i enjoy seing the end build videos i can stand hours watching it.
I know, I second this. It went to quick for me, but then again I am a youtube junkie and usually I like longer vids.
Awesome Airport! Impressive that it is made in a Vanilla world. Just one critique: the outer two runways are too close to each other. In real life they couldn't be used as two runways, neither for independent parallel operations nor for staggered parallel takeoffs or landings, as there is not enough space for aircrafts to vacate the outer runway without blocking the inner one. Most of the time in such configurations they leave enough space to place a parallel Taxiway between the runways. In that case the airport could use the inner Runway for takeoffs and the outer for landings.
But still amazing work 👍
Amazing
An observatory wouldn't be usable in a city nowadays due to light pollution, so your town observatory with a tunnel beneath it is not a real problem.
Rea observatories are far into the country side or in deserted areas (if not on top of desert mountains altogether). Radio observatories are in radio communications deprived areas to avoid interferences, the best places are obviously in deserts or far into the countryside and mobile phones must be turned off.
Your satellite terminal has no access for passengers... there should be a building concourse with an integrated metro station to link it to the main terminal.
Neat!
Great build this airport is so realistic.❤but do you know that the word "Imperatur" means emperor in the Maltese language?😮
Funny:D
Wow, great airport, but needs a fence. I feel like the airport/ planes can cause vibrations too at the observatory. ;)
Which dlc did you use for this? Because I don’t have that tab when creating my city. I only had the base airport option, and it sucked.
Obviously this was inspired from LAX the runway and taxi way layout is the same and it looks quite fimillar
You are the best
Best airport ever also first,
from my perspective when I click on the video and went to the comments there was nothing there.
Not first:D but thanks😋
The airport is soo huge
Airports nowadays have audio based bird repelling technology. So don't feel bad for putting trees in your airport.
I havensd build it excacly the same but i can tell you that you need 3 Million cash or a little bit lower. :) i didnt expect that nice job
“Uh, you can’t place the vegetation there. It will attract birds, they’ll get sucked in by the turbines, and everyone will die.” - Imperatur
Great, got the airport, now how do fit a city in the 9 tiles
okee let's goo
What mod are you using to place the plaza decals on the aprons?? Its not allowing overlap on console
Are you able to get internal airport rail traffic to the satellite terminals?
schöner Flughafen :D
Eine Frage: Wie bindest du den Bus- bzw Zugterminal am besten ans Flughafen Terminal an? Ich finde da einfach nie so den richtigen Weg den Bus bzw Zug vernünftig zu verbinden.
yes
Just based on the iconic restaurant building you placed down that matches the guess airport, your city name and that I have memories of an airport that I absolutely hated, and I mean hated having to flying out of. so much so, that I would check smaller regional airports in the area first if they were too expensive. Well I tie the airport with maybe JFK as the most miserable place to fly out of on the planet.
Likewise, I found some mid size German city airports just wonderful to fly out of, Zum BIespiel Stuttgar. Hinzu Gross Grussen Aus die USA.
Question, how did you fix the issue with crime rates just going sky high in the airport area without mods? I've been wanting to play Cities Skylines but the issues like the crimes in the terminals just keep appearing and my city services doing service to the complete other side of the map is really infuriating me
Idk, I preferred how the videos were in the beginning of this series. You talked a bit and summarised what you were building in the very chapter and with the old intro and outro song. But I will watch all the videos either way. Simply, no other creator that can match you, at least for me
The inspiration has to be Newark liberty international, but…its also not even in New York Lol
Does it matter the vibrations for the observatory? It is so close to the city that the light doesn't make it functional. I would rather consider it as a monument / cosmos museum. Something like actual Griffith Observatory in LA
als ich aufs thumbnail geschaut hab, dachte ich dass du Charles de Gaulle nachbaust 😂
Wow
