  • Global electric vehicle le (EV) segment is showing great growth potential despite the setbacks in othermarket segments. It seems that car brands and companies that specialize in the production of different types of vehicles are spending less time on developing regular models than electric ones.
    Such a situation actually makes perfect sense, over the past years millions were spent on research and development of electric powertrains and next generation battery packs. So now, when battery-powered vehicles can easily cover daily city commutes, the market is seeing more and more offerings.
    We regularly cover the latest news that concern electric vehicles of all kinds. The most recent publications could be found here: • Electric motorcycles, ...
    If you look though the most recent market reveals, it's hard not to notice that electric scooters are being brought to the market more often than cars and motorcycles, so why don't we have a more detailed look into the segment that got the most updates for the 2021 model year?
    The crowd of scooters on the other hand is rapidly expanding, offering to the wide public a maintenance free and affordable means of transportation. To make sure that you do not lose track of the latest announcements in the segment, we have gathered this list of the newest models. It includes such newcomers as:
    - 450X by an Indian company Ather Mobility;
    - SEAT MÓ eScooter 125;
    - NQi model lineup by the NIU brand;
    - Yadea G5 and V7;
    - recent additions to Gogoro smartscooter lineup;
    - TVS iQube
    - Bgauss B8-WOW E-Scooter from Italy.
    This video can serve as a quick overview of technical data and prices. Here you will find out what smart features these scoots have on board, how long many miles of range one battery charge could provide and other important things that you should know before making your consumer decision.

    Love your videos very informative! Do you mind doing a video that is focused on people who stay in dorms, apartments or not near charging stations? Honestly I'm pretty new to the electric scooter community, can you hook these up to the same charging stations as electric cars or are you use supposed to charge them at home?

    • @Datacube
      @Datacube  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, thanks for your feedback. The majority of modern electric scooters are designed to have removable battery packs. So home charging is regarded by many as a primary option (it's usually cheaper too)

    Really want a electric scooter. In the US there's not many options now but hopefully next year. Last scooter I had was a Honda PCX 150 which was totaled when a lady pulled in front of me and I did a long slide under the back of her car. One thing I dislike about gas scooters is having to take off so many body panels/parts to check and adjust the valve clearance. It's actually a nightmare job I'd love to avoid with a E scooter.

    All useless unless you are riding inner city. I commute, on a 125cc scooter, most local minor route roads are 40mph, then 60mph, my current scooter will happily keep up and can push 70mph. Using any of these as far as I'm concerned is dangerous with not enough speed. Companies should really look into upgrades and performance for where they are intending to sell. Eastern speed limits v for this sake, UK. There top speeds are 10 15 miles an hour off what people actually ride. Lots of people ride because they like the thrill of two wheels. Not because its convenient. And none of these scooters match up. Honda forza or all of these. I'll take the forza thank you. It'll be more fun and out perform any 125 escooter. You've also missed the zipp. Now that really looks interesting, built to thrill, sporty performance.
