The cruze scooter looks sharp. 30mph top speed with a 2000 watt motor? It’s either built too heavy or restricted. I’m on my second electric scooter and what I’ve noticed is that 1) the battery range advertised is unrealistic and 2) once the battery drops below 50%, you no longer have enough power to reach top speed. Curious if the electric cars act the same.
The Flux EM1 is the only one I would consider. Made in Wisconsin & if you get the dual batteries you can get up to 50 mile range & top speed is 38 mph. I would want a bit extra speed because of traffic to keep up with.
BBBYpsi i was excited until I heard it could go 38 mph. Wisconsin and Michigan consider anything that can go over 30 mph a motorcycle. In Michigan, a moped requires no insurance and the registration fee is like $5/year.

I wouldn't get any of these, too little range and too expensive. Scooters with small wheels are useless and dangerous on most roads.

are they registered as a moped ? do you need a motorcycle license to ride one in my state 50cc or less can be drive on a car license but they dont even mention electric
Fatelvis2 each state likely defines mopeds differently. Here a moped must meet all these criteria:
Engine smaller than 100cc, operator cannot shift gears, top speed of 30 mph.
If it does not meet all three of those, it’s a motorcycle.
Nice some are here But Shame someone can't do BEV car for under £5000.. They would make millions of profit since the need for a good simple full BEV car with nice range is high. All these huge SUV BEV cars now on sale for silly prices of £45.000p upwards just don't allow for the fact most people need a simple but good range small car to drive in the urban or city area's and don't have or wish to pay out over £40.000p for huge SUV when a good small BEV car is all that is needed? Bo maker has done a small urban BEV for less then £30.000p about time new BEV car makers started to do mass produced small BEV car for under £5000.

i love electric bikes but they just dont have the long range gas mopeds have .or the speed .but if there was a way to charge it while riding that would help a lot in people buying and useing these electric scooters. im sure most people would park there cars .if it went long range like a gas moped.with the same speed and range.

@@Datacube as long a range as they can make but cheap enought to replace a old car around 100 to 150 miles but make it generate its own power to charge the batterys on the move.then people will stop driving there cars and take a electric bike instead if they made them like this.soon there will be no need for cars because these scooters can do it better .then you will be saving the planet of carbon.if that is the goal of a green planet.

This is laughable...these aren't affordable at over $1000. Also it helps from a marketing standpoint, that if you are selling to the American population, the person narrating should probably have an American accent.
