What a colossal disappointment. Citizen also sells the NY0130-08E which is automatic, has a 120 click bezel, engraved back, sapphire crystal and they retail for roughly the same price. I can forgive the other stuff but the lack of sapphire is a non starter for me. Only reason I'm looking at this thing in the first place is because I cracked the crystal on my Orient Mako II.

I'm surprised you didnt swap the day and date wheels. The fonts could be different. Similarly for the rotor if it had any distinctive marks.

I've just ordered one now. Bit confused with the naming though. Some shops call it "Chandler" and Amazon called it "Garrison". Can't find any of these on the official citizen website. Would you know what is correct?

When it comes to water resistance I can personally assess that like all Casio watches with a simple "WR" rating it is COMPLETELY WATERPROOF short of actually diving with it and I know people who have taken this watch and the legendary F-91W almost to a depth of 100 feet and experienced no issues all the time They were underwater and thrashing about. Casio ALWAYS highly undersells it's "WR" ratings, I've not once had any water-related issues with this watch or other Casios in My extensive collection unlike the alleged higher water resistance of most modern Timex watches that couldn't even survive a simple hand washing despite the advertised 50 meter water rating. Highly recommend this even for an outdoor watch or EDC carry option.

Can you modify this version of the watch with a) a 22 mm metal strap or b) a metal case and strap? These options are avaiable for the non-bluetooth version and the two watches appear to have identical dimensions.

I have the Pepsi Marlin on a Casio metal band and this gold watch on a Casio resin band. I’ve ordered jubilee bracelets for both.

Its still depends on your wrist size and your feeling. I hate videos like that manipulate dumb people to buy the "smaller one". Guys just buy the one you like and that fits on your wrist size!

I don't like screw down crowns unless I'm really diving with the watch. That's a simple choice for me.

I have both, the Tsuyosa in green face and the NB1050 (my wife bought while in Japan), its blue. Love both watches for their uniqueness's and quality.

I recently got this watch, but mine is the SNE541J1 and it came from a seller in Japan. I changed the crustal to a double domed sapphire that I got from Crystal Times. I have mostly automatics, but I'm really liking the accuracy and not needing to sync my watch every day.

Got the watch a couple of days ago and I'm absolutely not satisfied! The LumiBrite is not working at all, the color isn't blue but greyish. It's really hard to read the time, that's a no go for me. The worst is the bracelet. I shortened it to fit my wrist and lost the first pin after 2 hours of wearing it. I lost the second pin the next day, so this technique is not working out at all. Of course I used the spring. It just doesn't hold. If you've worn automatic watches before, this piece will shock you a litte, because it's so light in weight. The glass is not antireflective, so I had a bad moment while driving and got blinded by the reflection. I paid 250€ for this watch, but in my opinion it's not worth the price. Will send it back.
