Something I really enjoy is using the impulse grenades to fling people off of high objects. It's really not that effective but it gets a lot of /tells when it does work lol
The grenades from the punisher are NOT the same as the UBGL grenades. They do less splash damage and don't damage vehicles. They are also not useful against maxes like the normal ones are (only the havoc one so they don't repair). Also i know i sound crazy but this gun with HVA, ext mag, and comp is very usable at mid range ; it has surprisingly good reach comparable to my VS hv45 loadout. Sure the COF is alot worse but in the rangea i usually fight at with medic it isn't much of a problem .Best NSO medic gun imo for building holds.
The repair nade is good. It has saved me before, especially from esf attacks and C4 fairies. The burst repair to save from the rocklets and a repair grenade to keep it up as you try to kill them.
@@yanlexi punisher is really accurate and have a really nice fall off , you dont reload much with it because of less fire rate and the effiency of ammos since it takes less ammo to kill when really accurate , after getting used to it's recoil I began landing a lot of headshots with it , I easily land 4 consecutive headshots from 15 meters on a heavy assault which is enough to kill them before they enable the shield , the hipfire too is awesome but I rather aiming down sight most of the time unless I'm right next to my opponent
Don't own the Endeavor guns, and besides, they're just reskins of their respective NS counterparts. Only notable one is the Endeavor Underboss as the visual recoil doesn't cover your sight, making it slightly easier to aim when spamming.
@@yanlexi The only difference technically outside of just appearance is the underboss reskin, which has a visual recoil animation that is far superior to the original and almost any other meta pistol for that matter. It covers far less of the screen upon firing and resetting.
On double XP days I could get ~100k xp/hour with punisher+shield repair+revive grenade bandolier nason hallway. Very good utility weapon but will take tempest/cyclone everyday for pure cqc
A few points and opinions. Punisher basic grenades "only" do 400 direct damage and 350 AoE damage while the big-boy UBGLs do 500 direct damage and 700 AoE(1 hit kill potential) and is perhaps why the UBGLs in general have in recent times been considered garbage as loads of people picked up the Punisher when it was released and tested it with its underwhelming grenade damage. I also think you are not really giving the Engineer and HA class specific grenades enough credit, the repair isnt amazing from a single shot but it is still around 200-250 health repaired for the duration and the extra health buffer it gives can really come in clutch for combat repairs. Example: you are repairing your vehicle and the repair tool is about to overheat, you swap to the Punisher and drop a repair grenade on it + reload, then swap back to your now cooled down repair tool and keep repairing. You gained a bit of repair during the downtime and the extra health could have perhaps eaten half a tank shell worth of damage or something that you now dont have to repair or even only reason the vehicle did not blow up in your face when it got hit. It is also amazing for MAX support, because they too are mechanical units and benefit both from the repair over time and 500 extra health. A MAX with 2500 health is scarier than a MAX with 2000, also fun if you manage to save a MAX from C4 by lobbing one of these from across the room. Just to make it clear, any damage the extra health takes is not subtracted from the base health once the effect runs out so a vehicle/MAX that takes 500 damage with this on will still be at 100% health when the effect runs out so it can be really valuable for negating damage. aaaand super secret ability to still repair Harasser/Chimera from the seats since you can hit the vehicle with the AoE if you aim at the ground/side. Cant be moving too fast or turning away from it though but in a Harasser its a big advantage to have a Punisher Engineer in the rumble seat with both the extra health on demand as well as desperation on-the-run repairs. I do not have nearly as much to say about the HA effect aside from "You have never seen a sadder MAX than when you hit them with this". That was true until the NSO AM-rifle was released since that thing both hits hard and inflicts havoc on them but still, you get what I mean.
@@yanlexi I dont think its really on you, a lot of people dont know about it. Kinda have to know that the normal UBGL can 1 hit kill on impact, use the Punisher and notice/care that it does not 1 hit kill, search through the rabbit hole of PS2 wiki to find the different versions of UBGL to finally find the damage numbers and compare them. Why things like that is not available in game is kinda stupid. Most sane people probably just go "Huh! weird!" and carry on with their day when the grenade didnt kill on impact, if they even notice it.
@@yanlexi Its like the damage types and vehicle resistances. Nowhere is it said that the tank main cannons do "tank shell" damage and that tanks take 50% extra damage from it. Ah, I wasn't sure on the nades. So even less useful. I didn't like the recoil enough to try a midrange build, though.

I've been using punisher on heavy for the past while now and it's been pretty funny seeing maxes panic after getting tagged by havoc nades.
terrorizing maxes will never not be funny
Great video
I personally enjoy it A LOT , not only because of the impulse + Icarus jet but also because of how powerful it is
Meh, I'd rather have a Cyclone/Arm/Sirius since they output more DPS with easier use.

Keep the vids coming man don't quit, and make a video about the endavor weapons there is none on TH-cam as far as I know.

They are statistically identical. However due to visual and audio differences it probably has a different 'feel' to it.

Exactly. Nice utility. Just outclassed for a general SMG role.
