I like that the fishing lure has more thought and detail put into it than the orbital strike tool 🤣🤣 Could you imagine this hooked up to artillery instead of just throwing a repurposed sensor dart out?

Last rant but, when they took the Planets away and changed it to one big planet with all the continents on it that's went I decided PlanetSide 2 had no real content path.

Resources were spent on making this.. Someone could of made some mechanics from PlanetSide 1 we've been asking for the last decade..

The last thing this game need is people fking around fishing instead of fighting for territory.. I gave this ago last night and it seemed utterly pointless, it actually adds points to our directive score so people will probably do for that reason.. Like connecting the Dog tags..

i think its a declaration of lost , like they just let the game go ...........just tryed to play right now and there is a freaking cheater flying around with a mana turret killing people........they don't want to do nothing with the game anymore, i actually spend money in the game ....and they instead of try to fix the thing with the hacker they added.....fishing............planetside is my favorite game , i hate that they treat us like this

It'd be hilarious if there were only a couple active fishing spots on the map at a time and there were grand battles to capture the pond and a fishing corp trying to speedrun catching all the fish.

Me thinking: There are so many damn issues in Ps2 to be improved upon or alike, and this is what they come up with?? Also me: *Reinstalling and booting up PS2 for some fishing*

They could just add regular gameplay elements for oshur to make the map better. Do they know something we don't?

imagine the cosmetics the idea of it being pvp fishing and getting your head blown off by a sniper while reeling in a catch sounds great

PS2 is dead, they should reduce the servers you can play on as well as adding server switching without creating a new character for it, it stupid to hold the players just on one server for ever.

Because Destiny 2 added it before

Finally some real content for this game

I had to look it up myself to just check this wasn't some elaborate mod you cooked up, as unlikely as that seems. I can't believe of all the things for them to sink presumably very limited development time into, it was THIS. I'm just flabbergasted. My only hope is that this is the new team's effort to learn their way around the code. This is a pretty far removed from everything else in the game so *maybeeeee* it's practice for other dramatically different systems? That's pretty wishful thinking though
