quite a bit of these symbols were made for search and rescue, around the Pennsylvania area (which is why there is firearms and ammunition, cause bears). CAP Airforce auxiliary uses these whenever we have an aircraft circling above. I've used a good bit of the ones you have on your sheet when leading ground teams).

When I took the Air Force arctic survival course years ago while we were in the field we had to signal the search and rescue helo. These ground to air signals were part of that course. Our group nearly made the helo crash with our signal: VENUS. Yes, we got our rations dropped to us once the pilot regained his composure. ("The Coasties signaled that they wanted women!")

Comming from the airborne search and rescue side, this is just surface level stuff, there are very specific messages you can pass on and even signal from an aircraft to the ground

I don't know where you got those codes and their supposed meaning but they were obviously false.
The TRUE meaning of those symbols translates as follows: 1.
Fill a water balloon with pickle juice 2. Position said balloon over my head 3. Drop from a prodigious height
Tips: For extra stainability add 1(or more) packets of kool-aid.
For extra "I really hate you right now and am plotting my revenge" type of stuff, add sugar.
note: For an extra extra dose of dastardly deeds done despicably well. Turn off the water.
