Is quite interesting the fact that high-end line of Marcopolo is appreciated worldwide. Brazilian industry design is distinctive.

Very revolutionary coach compared to those in Europe & North America. Totally different regulations in South America. 4 axles, 4.1 meters high etc. a very nice upmarket coach.

I'm a Brazilian guy from Bristol UK. I love all the coaches from U.S. and Europe, but the shape of the Brazilian coaches and comfort are incomparable. Congratulation for the great guys from Bussmagasinet for the job!!!! Keeping going!!!! The brazilian bus company called Garcia offer a Seat Bed (leito total or cama total).

The Marcopolo Paradiso G8 model is so beautiful. I can’t take my eyes out of it, Marcopolo has really improved year after year growing so fast in the latinamerican market, right now they are everywhere! Brazil has been pioneering on this matter, since Mercedes Benz do Brazil stopped they full body coaches production in the 90’s, brands like Marcopolo, Comil, Busscar and many others, started to increase their presence on the local and international market. Busscar IMHO used to be the best on this specific matter, producing very good coach bodies with great durability and beautiful designs for example the Busscar JumBuss series just to name one of their bus body models. But since they were declared in bankruptcy and the company was divided into 2 different companies (Busscar Colombia 🇨🇴 & Busscar do Brasil 🇧🇷) the market was taken by Comil and Marcopolo, were Marcopolo has taken the market catching the attention of the many transportation companies locally and international of course. They already have a production plant in Colombia 🇨🇴 and México 🇲🇽 talking about Mexico Volvo is celebrating their 25 years anniversary of Volvo buses Mexico 🇲🇽 they are producing the Volvo 9800(the equivalent of the European Volvo coach 9900) with single and double decker models. When it comes to central America Comil and Marcopolo have biggest presence over there, but lately the Korean brands Hyundai and KIA are increasing their presence with models like Hyundai Universe and KIA granbird coaches.

i really impressed by the Brazilian bus industries especially the long distance buses. it excellent in many aspects from passanger comfort, design, safety, and everything. i think since buses there manufactured as non integral (chassis and body build separately), they can go wild with their creations. and i can say bus industries doing very great over there even some european manufacturers build several chassis only for South American market

For me, South America is one of the most interesting markets for buses and coaches. They are using everything from BRT-systems to the four axle luxury coaches. After visiting Brazil five times, it’s always sad to come home to Europe to take full buses with low comfort 😂

The South American aviation and automotive market is poorly developed compared to the North American and European markets, with the bus normally being the only means of mass transport. Despite the reduction in air ticket prices, they still remain high for a large part of the population compared to other modes of transport. Road transport companies will then see a market to be explored, providing greater comfort to make bus travel more attractive.
