    my grail is the rolex DJ36, blue fluted motif dial, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet. the two tone DJ you showed was the 41, you can tell with the 5 minute increment numerals above the baton indices. i also absolutely love the nomos campus club cream coral and want to purchase that too.

    As a woman watch aficionado who has tiny 5.75 inch wrists, this is the video I have been waiting for! It is unfair that smaller watches for women are frequently bejeweled, quartz pieces without interesting horology.

    Great video. We slender-wristed people need love and attention, too!
    Some other honorable mentions:
    - Nomos Minimatik (35.5 mm) - Everyday
    - Cartier Santos (35.1 mm, but wears slightly larger due to square shape) - Everyday or Dress
    - Cricket Tradition (36 mm) - Everyday
    - Lorier Astra (36 mm) - Everyday
    - Traska Commuter (36.5 mm) - Everday

    Great content Teddy, keep it coming! I was really impressed by the Breathing Chronomat 36mm in person. Super comfortable. And the available pistachio green was awesome. Fit me great, even with my 7.25" wrists.

    Good episode for a classic case size. My favorite 36mm watch in my collection is my Rolex OP36 green dial. It is a perfect watch - elegant, sporty, robust and accurate. My second favorite 36mm watch in my collection is my 124270 Explorer. Rolex 36mm oyster cases wear very nicely on a wide variety of wrists. The OP wears slightly bigger than the Explorer.

    got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

    Great content as always! 36mm is my go to size. I love the classic wearing demensions. One watch I'd add is the Gycine Airman Purist 36mm. It a great travel watch and the 24 hour movement is so cool! It may take a second to adjust but the 24 scale is much more intuitive than the 12 hour format. It packs loads of value. The only downside is the 3 ATM.

  • @jameshoward9700
    @jameshoward9700 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    A great size. If you're coming from bigger watches, it takes a while to adjust, but totally worth it. For average sized male wrists, it makes the perfect understated everyday/field/dress watch to complement bigger divers or chronos. For smaller or female wrists it makes for a great diver or a big, bold everyday. For smaller wrists it makes for quite a big watch, which people don't appreciate. 34/5mm was more common in the '50s-'70s and again in the '90s - 36 was regarded as big. Some great picks there, but such a shame the excellent (and value star!) B&M Riviera is only 50m waterproof in 36 - silly. Breitling Chronomat and Santos medium is other obvious choices, but you can't go wrong with Oris 65, Tudor BB36 or Explorer.

      Congratulations! I also have a BB 36. I get a lot of compliments on it. Teddy loved the bracelet but I was not a fan. I replaced it with a cheap black rubber strap and it looks great. Strangely, I get way more compliments on it now than I did with the bracelet.

    your fan from China! Love your videos bring me into the world of watches. Now the luxury watches are everywhere with huge stores here. • @chenxistanley
      @chenxistanley ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@g43654 actually many ppl here work their way around the "wall". e.g. big companies all have their VPN because they need access to western social media to promote products, individuals can use that as well. Others, they have personal providers outside the country, or they have VPN from schools when they studied abroad,or they use stable VPN apps on androids or have a virtual number switching their Appstore location and get VPN apps. Many solutions.

    The marathon uses a quite highly modified SW200. They increase the torque of the movement to deal with the increased hand weights caused by the tritium tubes. They also alter the shock proofing to add to the watches' robustness. There are other changes which I can't quite recall.

    Good luck omega you'll need it... start by giving ppl what they want first: tapering sleeker bracelers with microadjust, quick set date, 10 year service interval

    I think the Lorca GMT Model No.1 @ 36mm presents as an interesting watch being the only GMT I can think of in that size. We are going to see a lot more models in the 35/36/37/38mm size ranges from established and micro brands eg, Aquastar Model 60 37mm, Vulcain Skindiver 38mm, Nivada Grenchen Antarctic in 35mm due later this year , their reissued 38mm diver and F77 integrated bracelet sports watch in 37mm, the reissued Vulcain 36mm cricket, various Lorier models etc.

    I’d like to give a shout out to Lorier as well. They have the Falcon at 36mm and are a really well respected microbrand company with great designs and build quality.

    the Seiko SRPJ8X series is the cheapest among the other watches on the list
    if this video had been released a month later, perhaps you could have included Citizen Promaster Dive EO2020 on the list
    this is a scaled down Citizen Promaster Dive BN0150
