Great video! I used to wear larger watches, some of my G-Shocks are pretty much portable clock towers. I also have one 44mm diver, which I still occasionally wear when I'm in the right mood for it. The largest watch I wear often is my Orient Mako, which comes in at 41.8mm. But I now lean heavily towards much smaller watches, 35mm, 34mm, and I even have a rectangular vintage Omega DeVille that comes in at just 32mm that I wear a lot! Looking at the wrist shots in this video, these fit is so much nicer than the usual fit that people get with 40+ mm watches generally. I've been looking at other of your videos with larger watches and to me the contrast is stark, to my eyes this smaller watches just fit better on these wrists. I hope the trend continues. As someone who started his watch journey with original Swatches, these smaller watch sizes feel like home to me.
I just bought Seiko's "Slim turtle" SPB333 instead of SPB143 as it's even thinner and quite small. Could not be happier, the case really fits small wrist well. Got 40% off deal though, wouldn't buy either one at full price.
Maybe it was covered in the previous video, but the Orient RA-AC0QO silver bezel series could be a good addition here now that the notorious dial mis-print issue has been solved. Minus points for no lume pip on the bezel, but an otherwise solid and affordable sub-40mm option. The purple dial version is pretty cool.
Seiko Tuna (SRPF81K1) is another great option and it wears like a dream on my average wrist. Only 43.5 mm lug-to-lug. There’s also an even smaller solar quartz version if that’s still too big for you.
Love the new dial colour on the Doxa. Also loving the Longines - I'm an absolute sucker for a bead of rice bracelet. Also strangely. drawn to the Vulcan.

Excellent episode covering dive watches for small to medium size wrists. I have the BP Fifty Fathoms 38mm in blue. And I must say it’s one of my favourite watches in my collection. But an FYI to all, it doesn’t hack. So might take some getting use to when setting the time. The Elka and the Aquastar sparked my interest mainly because of the movement and size. What prevents me from considering a Grand Seiko is that most if not all their watches have baton hour markers. Would love to have them revive the Arabic numeral model they had a few years back in a spring drive reincarnation and /or produce more rounded hour markers. Dial designs are excellent though. With Tudor, still waiting for more dial colours of their METAS watches in GMT, dive form at 37 to 40mm. Just purchased a Tissot Seastar WNBA Wilson watch at 40mm. Came with 2 straps and absolutely love the size and fit.

Great video, always found the diver watches a bit too massive to my taste, but there are some in that list that could change my mind... That Doxa sub 200T is looking amazing!
Great video, think I picked up a few ideas for my next purchase. I also just purchased a Seiko Prospex Speedtimer from your site for my son’s HS graduation present. Have you ever come across Panzera watch brand, one that’s been showing up on my feeds and wondering if you had any encounters with them. Are they a micro brand? Thanks for the terrific content and making easy to purchase items on your site, keep up the great work.
I have the certina ds action diver 38mm in steel and I absolutely love it. If I had any complaint it would be that the bracelet does not have micro adjust but for the price I really can't be too upset about that.
Wow, hundreds of people. I’ll be there at the end of the month but the boutique didn’t look large enough to host that many I was expecting maybe a few dozen.
Really want a Tudor. The only thing that has made me not, many don’t have the date wheel. I know some do. But the ones that stand out to me don’t. The 58 gmt is very nice. Just want a 3 hand with a date.
You should investigate VAER with 38mm and 39mm divers. Interesting company with some USA assembly. Worth a review . I have a 42mm version with solar quartz movement but they have automatic options.
Can you please do some videos about women’s watches? I want to get into watches that have cool movements but would look good on a small women’s wrist but no one makes videos of them! People only ever talk about the Rolex datejust or the Cartier tank
can you make a video on oil filled watches? this is a really intriguing find. apart from extreme view angles, what other reasons for the existence? pls include brands like U-boat .. esp the darkmoon series which i find interesting.
On my wrist as I type. Love it, blue dial is amazing. I wish it were a mill or two thinner, but it's definitely been getting more wrist time than I ever thought it would.
I just bought a Wise Adamascus while travelling through Thailand. They are a small company that makes their watches in Bangkok so thought it a great way to remember my trip. It's a dive watch with 200m water resistance, a 41mm dial and 47.7mm lug to lug and uses a Miyota 9015. Fits my small wrist perfectly. Definitely recommend checking out Wise watches
Have a Wise Hitman 66 full lume dial and it's a nice watch. The Adamascus was just out of my budget but would have loved to get one myself. What I like about Wise is you can mix and match colors (second hand color, crown on either side, lume) on some of their lines. The Hitman series is one.
Here are a few that should be also considered: Benrus Ultra-Deep 36.5mm 200m WR, Glycine Combat Sub 36mm 300m WR, LeForban, Malouine & La Brestoise Models, both 38mm with 150m WR, Horage Supersede Date 39.5m. with 200m WR, Lorca Model 1 GMT 36mm with 200m WR, MARNAUT SAFE HARBOUR 100C (CLASSIC) 39mm with 100m WR, Maraud Bonaire Mk11, 40mm with 200m WR, Nodus Sector Deep 38mm with 500m WR. Tag Her Professional Aquaracer 36mm with 300m WR, Rolex Watch Yacht Master 37mm,
Thank you for providing the lug to lug. I wish more companies were more transparent with this spec as it helps me understand how it will look on my wrist
Weight as well would be good. Also critical for how a watch will feel on wrist.

Great video, always found the diver watches a bit too massive to my taste, but there are some in that list that could change my mind... That Doxa sub 200T is looking amazing!
I'm surprised the new Tag Aquaracer 300 wasn't mentioned. I purchased one for my wife recently, they're avaialble in 36mm
I hava the Serica, and i want the Tudor BB54 next...perfect pair of divers to me
Tudor gold hands on black. Perfection.
The legend diver is in my box. Bought it in red. Perfection
Please do the same video for dress watches teddy 🙏🏼
I have the certina ds action diver 38mm in steel and I absolutely love it. If I had any complaint it would be that the bracelet does not have micro adjust but for the price I really can't be too upset about that.
Never mention Glycine 39 or 36. They get no love on TH-cam but they're a great spec. Watch for smaller wrists and a good value
Wow, hundreds of people. I’ll be there at the end of the month but the boutique didn’t look large enough to host that many I was expecting maybe a few dozen.
Heron Marinor flying under the radar here...
Really want a Tudor. The only thing that has made me not, many don’t have the date wheel. I know some do. But the ones that stand out to me don’t. The 58 gmt is very nice. Just want a 3 hand with a date.
That GS event in Cleveland would have been a great birthday present to myself but I'm out of country 😢
Please if you can swing it, livestream the Grand Seiko event. Would absolutely love to attend digitally.
You should investigate VAER with 38mm and 39mm divers. Interesting company with some USA assembly. Worth a review . I have a 42mm version with solar quartz movement but they have automatic options.
I have a maen and I love it. Definitely get one if you can.
How do you even skip Glycine Combat Subs ? They make 39 and 36mm, are WR up to 300 meters and honestly AMAZING value
Like the Vulcain !
I bought the aquastar Greenwich edition. Easily the modern doxa for this generation
what about Tag aquaracer?
Great video. Would have liked to see your take on the Breitling Superocean Heritage '57 Highlands.
Revelot Hexmariner 39. Best lume of any microbrand mentioned.
Can you please do some videos about women’s watches? I want to get into watches that have cool movements but would look good on a small women’s wrist but no one makes videos of them! People only ever talk about the Rolex datejust or the Cartier tank
Looool we would probably (definitely) watch 3 hours of this 🤣
Maaan, my favorite watch was left out again 😭 Citizen Fujitsubo… 4hz, Titanium, antimagnetic with genuine history and wears like a dream 🤷♂️
How about Citizen Promaster dive 36mm?
A bit too small imo (for my 15 cm wrist)
@@hortehighwind8651 Did you try it? I'm wearing one now on a larger wrist than yours and I love it.
Great video, Teddy!
can you make a video on oil filled watches? this is a really intriguing find. apart from extreme view angles, what other reasons for the existence? pls include brands like U-boat .. esp the darkmoon series which i find interesting.
Henry archer make amazing dive watches!
Teddy, I'd watch you for forever hours
I am flattered haha! Thank you for the support.
I can do 3 hours of Teddy for a Sunday Morning with my coffee.
The Longines is awesome.
Traska makes a beautiful watch.
Dan Henry 1975 should be on that microbrand list as well.
Hey Teddy, how about the 36mm Citizen Promasters? The only really affordable small diver.
Did you empty the scrotum in Bangkok?
Have a Wise Hitman 66 full lume dial and it's a nice watch. The Adamascus was just out of my budget but would have loved to get one myself. What I like about Wise is you can mix and match colors (second hand color, crown on either side, lume) on some of their lines. The Hitman series is one.
I initially intended on getting the Hitman but I couldn't go past the Adamascus after seeing it in person
Waiting to hear your thoughts on new Seiko Samurai.
Great video
I desperately want Longines to make the Legend Diver 39 with a green dial. I will pay full price instantly if they make it!
Wish you would've included the new SPB453J1 instead of the SPB143 with a smaller wrist on the wrist shots.
Here are a few that should be also considered: Benrus Ultra-Deep 36.5mm 200m WR, Glycine Combat Sub 36mm 300m WR, LeForban, Malouine & La Brestoise Models, both 38mm with 150m WR, Horage Supersede Date 39.5m. with 200m WR, Lorca Model 1 GMT 36mm with 200m WR, MARNAUT SAFE HARBOUR 100C (CLASSIC) 39mm with 100m WR, Maraud Bonaire Mk11, 40mm with 200m WR, Nodus Sector Deep 38mm with 500m WR. Tag Her Professional Aquaracer 36mm with 300m WR, Rolex Watch Yacht Master 37mm,
Awesome video 👍
