New subscriber here and YES I'm all in for this game. CoB was the 2nd game I played when I joined my game group a decade ago. It has and will be in my top 10 for a long time.
i've never played this game, but have heard so many great things about it, that I ended up backing it. I only got the special addition, but part of me regrets not getting the special tiles, acrylic and/or terrain. Hopefully they'll be available for purchase as standalone in the future

Great unboxing vid. I do like the side camera. Totally agree you need another light. In fact, you need two to three times as much light as you currently have. The lighting in all your vids is a bit muted.
In general I do wish this video had more light. I agree. I think I had my camera on a weird setting and I do apologize. The re-boxing later this week will be better, I promise! 😊

Hi Jenna, what a coincidence.. Last night I watch the playthrough of the prototype of Castles of Burgundy, that you and Francis played and was on your other youtube channel. And here you are with the updated and final edition. Excited to get my hands on my own copy, also here in Canada (across Lake Ontario).I really like those acrylic components and 3d tokens. I didnt back the ultimate box, and seeing the final product makes me reconsider my earlier thought, but it is what it is. Have fun playing this special edition and please share your thoughts on this channel.

I've watched several unboxing, they are all pretty similar. A reboxing/organizing would be way more interesting. Seeing different priorities, styles, & ideas is very enjoyable.
I believe the base game was about $140 CAD. All in pledge was about $400 CAD. Quite pricey but worth it if you really enjoy The Castles Of Burgundy and deluxe board game components! 😊
I don't know if it's just your camera but if you watch other unboxings the blue dice look grey, if you look at other unboxings the dice are really blue.
Just curious, what is considered the “stretch goals”? Is that only what’s in the standard box? (Metal coins etc) or would stretch goals be the acrylic tiles?
I don't know, but I would like to paint those minies (castles, cows, ships...). I think it would be nice (especially if not trying to make every copy identical to each others, but make slightly variations). Anyway, I must confess that I never heard before of The Castles of Burgundy... and it is even more confusing, that by searching I can find 20th anniversary edition of the game. I probably will look more about it, and may buy it later in this year. (And who knows, maybe the minies for it, so that I can paint them?).
I don't think it is! It is definitely not as long but might be slightly taller. It's probably closer to Gloomhaven than Everdell Complete Collection. 😊👍🏻
Gosh, the production of this edition is sooooooo good!! The Castles of Burgundy is also one of my favorite games so I'd love to upgrade it to this version, but definitely struggling with the price point 😥 maybe someday! Great unboxing video!!
I'm going to say the same thing here that I said over on your reboxing video...if you're going to do two cameras, make one of them a close-up camera so that viewers can see the detail of components that you keep holding up to show us!!! Currently, when you hold something up for the camera to show close-up detail all we see is a blurry blob. Have you ever thought about recording an example and then watching it yourself to see how good or bad it looks before publishing something on TH-cam?!?! Also, your lighting is horrible!

Is the box bigger than the Everdell complete collection box? Or is it Gloomhaven size? Funny how Gloomhaven isn’t the biggest game box anymore.😂
