I remember drinking this as a kid. I didn’t realize it had so many steps to make it. That’s probably why my Mom didn’t make it that often😆. She really didn’t show me how to cook because she didn’t have any patience for it but I’ve always wanted to learn how to make some of my favorites. I will definitely be looking them up on your channel. My Mom was born and raised close to Monterey Mexico and I noticed your cooking style is a lot like hers. 😊👍♥️
Looks delicious! We used to get a sweet sticky corn side dish at a restaurant called Don Pablos.. it was a smaller ice cream scoop or two. Sometimes it had a little powdered sugar dusting, depending on who was cooking. Best sweet corn dish I’ve ever had! They put it on all the lunch & dinner plates. It would be amazing if you knew how to make that. I think it had condensed milk & raw sugar or the cone sugar. No cinnamon or other flavors.. just sweet sticky corn goodness ✨ Thanks for sharing your recipes 🌹
I just made this and it was soooo delicious! Thank you Anjelica ❤️ I used to have to drive all the way to a place called “King Taco” to buy their Atole but thanks to you I can make my own and it’s even better. I used a can of corn bc I couldn’t get my hands on fresh but I followed the directions to a T and it is so so good !
Mama.. here a lazy question. Instead of using fresh corn from the ears of corn, can corn be used instead.. or well that change the flavor. And did you cook the corn you used or just cut it from the cobs?
looks amazing. was craving this but i don't think they sell it in my area, so i'm going to make it myself until i go to visit my fam. thank you, perfect timing cuz it's raining today :)
Would you happen to have a sweet corn tamale recipe? Oh man whenever my local Mexican store has them my husband always buys a bag. So delicious with coffee.
Why the cinnamon??That throws me off !Its like cream corn basically with cinnamon!I make my cream corn exactly like this without the cinnamon,an saving some of the kernels to add in the end to give it some crunch!!
She always has the best recipes!
