I mean, Rubin is talking about world-changing ideas. It makes sense that it would be very triggering for a creative person with tendencies towards mania/psychosis. The speakers are talking about how eventually all AI will spit out the same answers. That's some biblical shit. Like, we'll have answers to all of humanity's questions based on all of human understanding up to this point in history. It's enough to make me feel like I'm having a schizophrenic breakdown.😅
I love the authentic interaction of two artists. Even as Ryan suggests that they wrap it up they are pulled back into more interesting discussion and exploration. This was a great one.
Your methodology works - I understand it- communicating it is soooooo helpful to people like me (who may be on the spectrum) and to have clear messaging to negotiate your work style with others. That miscommunication is in my mind what causes problems on a global scale.
I’m not an artist but I like to make music for myself and I noticed that wherever I had a crush the tunes I made were so much better. Now, did I tap into some frequency or was it some sort of ecstasy effect?
I have the same exact question because I believe it was this episode and was aired about a year ago. Of course in a perfect world, you'd think that would be mentioned. Oh well
Agreed- I’m economically limited at this time. And I wish were “beatnik” but I need a home and I need to survive because I have disabilities and it affects my mental health.. so it follows I can’t do my job if I’m overwhelmed by “obstacles I am supposed to learn from…” which I might have known from studying philosophy and from being a child of a mentally ill parent.
I wish that were true for writers who have incessantly requested advice and suggestions from trusted friends who have more experience than me. I only wanted to help people have choices in their life.. and to help education and humanity. But my requests seem to also incessantly fall on deaf ears.. or rather, they might think less of me.
Technically it isn't good, because most people "get into" those "narratives." Try making the exact same dialogue. It isn't hard. You fill that room behind you in two days :)
80s metal and hard rock was so inventive so many talented players 90s rock all the singers sound the same and no more guitar solos Also 90s depressing lyrics 80s lyrics women 😊
His point is that considering demographics (in this case) is inherently going to limit what you create, which is true, and neither good nor bad. The topics he covers in his book are his observations on how to get to a place of completely free, self expressive art. Creating for commercial success, again not bad per se, is a different thing altogether.

It took me a minute to figure out it was all the same dude. Someone ate a few too many edibles when watching this...

Linkin Park - Talking to Myself or RHCP - Sir Psycho Sexy, are good songs, I reckon you should give them a listen
What a combo! I'm so excited to give this a listen!
I saw George Clinton- great performer and his band was on point
Beautiful AM radio analogy.
What is it about the universe that resists itself?
People love to be fooled, a fool is born every minute.
This man is a master in self promotion.

Would be awesome if Flea was up there taking a nap behind Rick
Is this a new episode or a reupload of the original?
I have the same exact question because I believe it was this episode and was aired about a year ago.

Can chat offer solutions on how to avoid the decline of civilization? Or world wars if it has never happened before?
Interesting !
So if watching - does that imply complacency?
I saw page and plant..

That's 33% right :)
It’s funny to see the lack of comments on a Chanel about stoicism. Like you’re doing your job, but at what cost.
Which is difficult when building a team
Is this a reupload?

An analogy: no one knew what einstein was talking about.. I wonder what could be achieved had people listened earlier to him
Time stamps
EATONIA SUZ!
Is that not what sampling is?
80s metal and hard rock was so inventive so many talented players

Please tell that to the people in charge! They will listen to you.. diversity is not a formula per se
Yeah, you're married, okay, and you have a teacher. Cool.
The setting is global - and blah blah blah
seems like you should be a golfer
Unless there is a range of demographics.. it all has a time and place
