Good luck. It's my belief what FM wanted all along is a bunch of people with a 2.2k paperweight reliant on them to fix it. Like Apple, but somehow more pretentious and less reasonable
Love it. I believe you're the future of this sport, not a copycat at all. FM is a copycat if anyone is. I have had 6 GTs, 3 Pint X's, and a OW +. All bought used for a steal (around 60-70% of retail price), all with low miles. I saw the video of the guy riding the onewheel device from 2008 or 2010 and realized how truly evil FM is. Not only did they not invent the OW, they implement all the evil practices of Apple while not even being a comms device. It's one thing when Apple locks down a device and claims safety. It's totally another thing when a skateboard company does it. Truly evil and I hope they change or go so bankrupt they're a lesson to all similar companies (such as Boosted boards)...

Essentially Tru becomes false, and is the reverted to true in the last code line True = false; That's why you have to use apple mouse, keyboard etc, it's literally the same practice for an inferior device

its incredible that u have made this! hope that it works fine and has no issues on the first batch but it seems fine. i probably wait a little to see who the feedback goes from the comunity before i buy but i think i need this anyway. its so cool that you hack the fm board end make it even better with this kit!
This looks awesome. I’m waiting for the PintX version and have already started this process with the Thor300 for my GT. My big question is, when will the V2 FloatWheel BMS and Controller be out. I’d rather see you support your board first over FutureMotion products.
Tony, at 4:10, you're instructing us to install the screws to secure the main board. You then jumped straight to the BMS. Only after replacing the BMS, I realized that you'd already reconnected installed the front light and reconnected the power. Is this going to be a problem if the new BMS is installed without completing those steps first?
Regarding the gaskets, TFL has replacement gaskets that fit well. Alternatively, I've heard that you can heat them up and this apparently shrinks them so they fit back into place better? Dunno haven't tried it, literally just only read this on a single TH-cam comment YMMV GLHF

That doesn’t make sense. The GTS already has a pack that does over 100V, you could create a more powerful VESC using the 27s1p pack than any other pack he’d provide.
dyno test was done 2 month ago and I posted the results in the community post, I can confirm all power numbers are dyno tested, as for tune, it's running Nico's tune as default, and I think it pretty much rides like a GT's with better gradient tracking. You gonna love the tune.

I installed my Gtv kit as shown in the video and my Gtv will go 3 feet then throw me off. Is there a video on how to program it? I thought it was supposed to be preprogrammed? I also sent Tony an email.
@@floatwheel just checked the motor plug is fully connected. I pulled it to check for corrosion or bent pins and everything is perfectly fine. When I say it throws me off, it goes full power and brings the nose up/does a burn out.

@jaefrmbk2k No doubt. And PintV kit is going to open the floodgates as well. So many Pints out there and with the Pint sale, lots of new blood looking for more range. ChiBattery will see a huge spike in sales also. If FM let go of their death grip and didn't invalidate battery upgrades in one fell swoop, countless of Pints would remain within FM ecosystem. They really prematurely shot themselves in the foot this time, and whoever made that stupid decision didn't have the long-term survival of FM in mind. Now the VESC tsunami is coming, and a new age is upon us!
@@sdmods619 Do you know for sure? Tony haven't replied to me, so I would love to have a confirmation. I don't care about changing the BMS to a 20s afterwards, but if GTV VESC is stick to 18s, the kit is not as appealing to me...
@legolasgleaf GTV is the exact same ESC that is in ADV. ADV is 20s2p 84V, so 100% certain based on that and confirmation from Tony as well. The GTV BMS is limited to 18s but you can change it out to support 20s. Tony also is hearing recommendations to offer GTV without BMS for those going with a different one.

I’ve used hot air, boiled them, and even froze them. No luck. Better to buy replacements that will last forever.
You can buy gasket material at any plumbing shop or hardware store, and make any gasket you need.

How bright are the LED's for the front and rear? Do they only produce white and red light or are they RGB capable?

It's a vesc so you should be able too just fine.

At the 3:00 min mark you say to make sure to get the thermal pad on the box not the ESC. Can you demonstrate or better explain what you mean by this?
after you remove the GT esc，the thermal pad is likely sticking on the esc，remove it from the esc and stick it to the box
