I am a 60 year young two stroke rider that rides primarily on my own private track and could see buying an Freeride just so I don't piss my neighbors off as much during early morning or evening rides!
@Mike h You're right on with that! We often ride the electric bikes at my friends track in his neighborhood. We wouldn't be able to do that on our 2T bikes. They are great for getting some quick motos in at home!

My 2016 KTM freeride E-XC had a max range of 40km (25 miles). that is, if you rdont ride full throttle all the time. The amount of accelleration is going to change the range drastically. also riding fast will drain the battery faster because a higher voltage is needed from the battery to meet the motors RPM. I sold the 2016 version and bought a new 2019 version. The range is now increased to 70km in the same conditions (43.5 miles). This is more than acceptable for me. I never use setting 1 with regenerative function because it's not fun to ride because of the speed limit of 50km/h , torque limit and we have no steep hills in belgium :D Setting 2 is almost full power. I use this to go on an enduro trip because the throttle is better managable. Setting 3 is full power. this is 70% of my riding (on the streets) I do have to say that the 2016 version had slightly better accelleration because it was lighter. Thats why i ride in setting 3 a lot. I'm sure when I change my offroad tires to street tires, I will gain some accelleration (smaller wheel radius gives increased acelleration but decreased topspeed) But still, I'm always the first to go on a green light, and the expression of the peoples faces is like "What is that! did I really see this happening?!?)
@@0xsergy I think that KTM engineered the MODE 1 with regen only to be used in steep downhill action. Because the engine breaking on regen is huge, and the topspeed is limited to 50km/H.
kiko in standard gearing and tyre setup max 75km/h. With wind in the back you can get it to 80km/h. Wind up front 72km/h. But you can tweak the gears if you want more topspeed and less torque
My KTM Freeride had the same inadequate range when it was new. 30 minutes feels like 10 when you’re riding. After getting stranded in the woods I sold it. In the end the dealers had to give them away.
Thanks for the comparison. I know this battery was properly stored but you never know what 3 years will do to a battery. Not ideal range on this one but looking forward to trying the new model.
I dont see any engine braking when hes off the throttle. I wonder if its disabled? If it regend from strong eng brk like the teslas do I wonder what kind of range you could get. It could basically replace the rear brake. more chain wear tho

Agreed - been building ebikes for years and range remains the biggest issue, pretty much everything else is peachy/ >ICE IMO. That said, depending on how the bike was stored it could have lost well over 50% of its capacity in the last 3-4 years (ie stored fully charged in a hot shed or something). Doubt its that bad but it may be significant.
Be interesting to see if carbon dioxide batteries ever come to the market. Apparently density is around 7 times current lithium batteries cells being used now.
They are so much fun to ride! Yes, the battery range is not impressive but is improving. KTM has already made huge gains in their battery tech for the new Freeride E-XC. I'll be testing that one soon!
I can't help but imagine 2 stroke exhaust sounds as he rides. It's so unnatural sounding, just the whine and wind noise. Looks like a lot of fun thought! It's exciting to think of where this technology will go in my lifetime.
I have an Oset 24 electric trials bike and I will do one hour riding sessions in my backyard and get three sessions out of one charge or three hours. Trials riding is not continuous riding but ride and rest and much more physical that enduro riding. I think I can compete on a 3 hour short course trials event on one charge. KTM owner Stephan Pierer stated recently after buying Gas Gas that battery range is not an issue in trials and I believe he is right and look forward to seeing the new electric trials bikes. Maybe the 2020 Freeride is more suited for hard enduro and endurocross where your body will run out of energy before the battery does.
The Osets are cool bikes! The Freeride is not a full trials bike but KTM positions it in between an enduro and trials style bike. It's really not intended to do long range at this point.
@FN Films That is really good range! What did you think of the power in Mode 1? I find it to be a bit underpowered but it definitely allows you to go much further.
@@ElectricCycleRider it was my first time on a dirt bike (but experience from 2 years 50cc moped^^) But for the jumps it was really okay Sometimes on little whoops sections it could have been faster but was still quite good/strong I have 1 lap of it on my channel if you want to know haha😉

Good overall assessment...kudos! Other variables that would affect range to think about. Hills, wet muddy conditions, water crossings, rider weight, heat, cold, speed. Where I ride it's usually wet, most everything is either up or down we get the occasional heavy rains with deep water crossings. I don't think I'd 5 miles out of a charge. They solve the battery issue and it's a game-changer.
Good lord! First off, that looked like a fun ride and a familiar trail so you could really run the bike at speed! Second, why are you not sweating even a little under that helmet??! almost 40 minutes of hard riding was better than I expected, just a wee bit under what I thought it would get (around 50 minutes was my guess) so it will be fascinating to see what you get testing the updated battery and hear your thoughts on that. If you get a chance to test a 2019 Alta MXR on the same type of conditions that would be nice as well. Very fun bikes to ride! I am not sure why there are so many negative comments? Is this not fun? Are we not here riding motorcycles for ....whats that word I am looking for.....oh yeah FUN?! Either way, glad you are getting some and reporting back. Keep up the great work!

Man... the new battery is supposed to have 50% more life, but even that would be 16-17 miles or about 50-60 minutes, based off of your numbers. That seems very low. I'd be interested to see the test with the new battery... I hope this technology continues to improve. Great video, new subscriber.
I've been a huge fan of e bikes since I heard about them but the limits really are huge for anything besides supercross style stuff. Not to mention the disposable nature of batteries. Still far from worth it to most people at this point
They are super fun bikes to ride and their current limitations are clearly with battery range. The 2nd generation of this bike is much more improved and I will be testing that bike soon. They're great bikes for backyard tracks! Thanks for watching.
Thanks for test info! The first upgrade wil be....? 2nd battery? ...Beefier brakes?... A handful of KTM dealers are taking deposits on 2020 e-rides, I'v done my homework, this is the one for me. Swappable battery and the fact that KTM has 30 plus years of moto manufacturing experience to count on has me all in. (..unless ALTA starts up again.. or at least starts making new batterys..)

It could probably do more miles if it were ridden more technical style. The low end torque and the small frame make it ideal for crawling around places that’d be harder on the bigger bikes.
That is a very good point that you make, maybe not miles ripping but trials ripping which would be more time invested not miles invested. I would be interested to see how / if the time stretches for more technical stuff like "5 miles of hell" just outside of Moab. I think this guy is in Colorado not too far away... That would be a great test!
Thanks for the note. You're right, it could definitely do more miles if ridden in a technical style which is arguably what this bike was really designed for. Although, if I had done a test just crawling around slowly, everyone would have wanted to see it ridden at a faster pace.

It's amazing though that we have got a dirt bike with an electric motor. That fact still is amazing to me. If they could make the battery last.... 6 hours with yz suspension (my personal preference) that would be SOO much fun. I'm hoping that the market makes development possible because once we have an electric sports car, electric truck, and electric dirt bike that will work for the average consumer we WILL be living in the future and I will be glad to be a part of it. electric doesn't have to be boring
Wow! That sucks. I don't know if I have ever done that short of ride. By the time I get all my gear on, I want to get AT LEAST 20 miles out of even a week day evening ride. BTW, my Surron is getting 20-30 miles with over 4,000' of climbing.

Onroad I ride an Energica, it's big fun. Offroad I'm still waiting for something suitable. No hardenduro, no challenges just riding down the fields. I use a CRF250L now but badly want something really silent :-) Thx a lot for this testing.
Hare scrambles here in VA are usually around 28 - 45 miles (getting in 4-5 laps, on courses 7-9 miles in length). So at best, not even half a race, and at worst, 1/4 of a race. I guess someone loaded with money could have 4 or 5 batteries and swap them out every lap.
@Saul Mayo The KTM is much more fun to ride. It has a lot more power, better suspension, better brakes, 21" front and 18" rear. It rides much more like a full size dirt bike than the Surron Light Bee. I love the Surron for what it is but if I have the option, I'm riding the Freeride E-XC.
This bike is soooo good it will always work ive word at something called electrocross in amsterdam and riding on these things was a blast! The have like 14 of them!
Man, I like the idea of electric, but i just dont think we are quite there yet. 11 miles, and only 40 min, maybe 50 min on a new battery and maybe 60 min on a 2020. When we get to 3 hours, I'm in. Its gotta make a normal riding day with your buddies, and thats always around 2-4 hours.
@@ElectricCycleRider I agree, it seems we arent too far off, and hopefully we can figure it out. Imagine ripping through a dense forest on a goat trail and the only noticible noise is tire grip. I'm looking forward to it, personally. Don't get me wrong, I dig the 2 stroke sound too, but this is another level of peace in my head. LOL
As of 2019, KTM is not currently leasing batteries in the US. The balance feels really good on the bike, you don't feel the same inertia that an internal combustion motor producers. The throttle was really easy for me to get used to, it has a very smooth linear feel. Thanks for watching!

Haven't ridden the full size bikes myself but personally really enjoy the surron - its small but that has its advantages - its light, and even in my average sized back yard I can build a small tight track with a couple of small jumps and have fun every day after work. A larger bike would be too cumbersome, and any ICE bike would be too loud in suburbia. power wise it could do with a little more umph but then the motor is massively underutilised - I've got a new controller (not installed yet) that should put out ~3x the torque and ~4x the peak power (though getting 4x the power needs a new battery). On small tight stuff and smaller jumps I'd say the surron could keep up, even be faster with a higher end controller and battery, but if you want to go big it'll probably start to struggle given its still using bicycle level components.
@@dax0474 its called a 'nuclear' controller from russia. endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75494 you can also get a 'asi' controller (BAC4000) that works well from what I've read. both can be bought with a surron harness to make fititng them easier.
Thanks for your note! It's really hard to compare to a 300 because they deliver power in a much different manner. The power curve on the Freeride is very linear and has good acceleration. I wasn't quite wide open in the straights but close. It's no doubt a super fun bike to ride!
Thanks for the awesome videos. What do you think of the ebikes you have tested with regards to extreme Enduro? I'm thinking about sur Ron in particular. I find I am defeated more by the size and weight of my bike than anything else, and feel like I could do better on something between a mountain bike and 300 dirt bike. Any thoughts on that? I'm not sure they would even allow such a bike, but the courses are getting pretty ridiculous, and clearly fill size Enduro bikes are more than most average Joe's can handle.
@Holden2090 Thanks for your support and note. Great question regarding e bikes for extreme enduro. Awesome to hear you're out riding some rough enduro. I also own a KTM 250 XC-W (2T) and ride enduro so I can compare the pros and cons of these specific bikes. I'm an advocate for electric technology and I know I am here to review and promote electric dirt bikes. I can argue that electric excels in a lot of environments but there are also plenty of environments that ICE bikes are still better than electric. As much as I wish I could say that electric is better for enduro, the bikes are just not quite there yet. I would not recommend replacing your 300 with a Surron for extreme enduro riding. Here is why: The benefits of the Surron is that it is lightweight and won't wear you out like the weight of your 300 might. On the flip side, the suspension package is not as stout as your 300 so when the trail gets rough and choppy, that is translated from the bike to your body. The 300 is better at soaking up a rough trail. Ground Clearance: The Surron is a small bike and does not have as much ground clearance as your 300. If you're maneuvering over rock and log obstacles, it is going to get hung up quicker and high-center easier than your 300 will. Power & Power Delivery: The power of the Surron is not nearly what your 300 has. The 300 will destroy the Surron on hill climbs, hands down. As for power delivery, the 1 speed clutch-less transmission gives superior acceleration most of the time. It is when the going gets real tough and real slow that the linear throttle on the e-bikes become difficult to ride. With an ICE bike and normal clutch, you can feather the clutch and rev the bike to get over obstacles. Battery range aside, the KTM Freeride E-XC is going to be a superior enduro bike than the Surron. It has a lower seat height than your 300 and has more power and better suspension than the Surron. All of this being said, I would still pick a 300 for extreme enduro! I'd recommend buying a Surron or Freeride as a home training/turn track/pump track/buff single track bike and keep the 300 for extreme enduro. Have you considered running the KTM Low Seat, lowering the suspension 1" and maybe trying a Rekluse clutch?
@@ElectricCycleRider Thanks so much for the insight! Your points about ground clearance, suspension and power are all things I've considered and think are worth compromising to some degree... Just not sure to the degree a surron would. The point about slow speed technical throttle control is excellent... And definitely a no-compromise factor in my opinion. To clarify, the type of events I am talking about are the likes of Tennessee Knockout, Rev Limiter and Red Bull Override, all of which I have attended recently. These are races where B and even A riders may not finish a single lap due to the severity of the course. I am not strong enough to physically lift a 250lbs machine over my head time after time, but maybe one weighing a 100lbs less, which is essentially what is required in these races unless you have the trials skills of Cody Webb. Like I said, I would be more than willing to lose power, ground clearance and suspension to lose that kind of weight. It does sounds like electric bikes arent quite there yet though. Your suggestions to modify my KTM are very good ones and may prove to help quite a bit. It still will be far too heavy though for this kind of stuff. At my age, I'm not going to get stronger, nor will I become a trials champ! Thanks again for your thoughts. I am planning on adding an electric conversion to one of my mountain bikes, knowing that I will probably have to ride alone if I do it!

i just miss my 92 ktm540dxc.it was amazing. an e bike with power like that would be cool but imagine the battery.the 540 was a 2stroke.it used 11 litres an hour in a hare scramble tho. 100mph stock gearing.
My two Alta EXRs are good for 30 minute moto. I did do a 45 minute GP, and that was the absolute limit for my riding speed. For a very fast rider, 30 minutes is about it on a motocross track. For trails, I can ride for hours.
Where is this? Dust and rocks make me think Norcal but the vegetation is a bit wrong. And you rode that thing well, nobody can say it wasn't a decent test!
chucky ducky electric motors are more powerful than combustion engines. More efficient and better for the environment. Battery capacity is getting better. There are motorcycles getting a couple hundred miles with a charge.
Eric Fical 1: they are not more powerful. They exert 100% torque from zero revs and that’s it! 2: when you take into account the entire supply chain and that electricity has to be twice converted from different energy sources as opposed to just once with petrol then it’s not more efficient 3: they are NOT better for the environment. Unless you get your electrons from Nuclear power then the myth that EVs are cleaner is bullshit 4: even today the very best battery hold 1/40th the energy density of petrol. EVs have been around since the mid 1800’s and physics is the reason why they are not everywhere today. It’s a far easier engineering problem to remove the CO2 from the exhaust pipe than to re-engineer the power generation/distribution and storage as well as transportation. EVs will NOT clean up the planet!

@Mats H I I currently have the 2020 Freeride and really love it. I do have multiple gas bikes though. It would be hard to only have an electric dirt bike at this point due to the limited range. I still want both at the moment.
I just test it in mode 3 on road during 1 hour 6°C, quite often at max power and I make 31 Km 30% Left, so I am not sure that you battery was full KTM-E-XC 2018 for me with 3.9KW
I love electric everything and been riding ebikes since 2012 but man thats not Great, i do understand that the new one has more range but I kinda forgot how bad they used to be😛 i think my 30ah battery weigh on slightly more that my 12ah one did in 2012
The new battery is 50% better wich means that you can ride like 2hrs, i have to say that this is a enduro bike it is not made to ride all the time on full gas enduro is slow and technicial and if you ride the bike right you can ride 2hrs and 30min wich is not so bad

Other variables that would affect range to think about.
Hills, wet muddy conditions, water crossings, rider weight, heat, cold, speed.
Where I ride it's usually wet, most everything is either up or down we get the occasional heavy rains with deep water crossings.
I don't think I'd 5 miles out of a charge.
They solve the battery issue and it's a game-changer.

Good lord! First off, that looked like a fun ride and a familiar trail so you could really run the bike at speed! Second, why are you not sweating even a little under that helmet??! almost 40 minutes of hard riding was better than I expected, just a wee bit under what I thought it would get (around 50 minutes was my guess) so it will be fascinating to see what you get testing the updated battery and hear your thoughts on that. If you get a chance to test a 2019 Alta MXR on the same type of conditions that would be nice as well. Very fun bikes to ride!

Man... the new battery is supposed to have 50% more life, but even that would be 16-17 miles or about 50-60 minutes, based off of your numbers. That seems very low. I'd be interested to see the test with the new battery... I hope this technology continues to improve. Great video, new subscriber.
I've been a huge fan of e bikes since I heard about them but the limits really are huge for anything besides supercross style stuff. Not to mention the disposable nature of batteries. Still far from worth it to most people at this point
They are super fun bikes to ride and their current limitations are clearly with battery range. The 2nd generation of this bike is much more improved and I will be testing that bike soon. They're great bikes for backyard tracks! Thanks for watching.

A handful of KTM dealers are taking deposits on 2020 e-rides, I'v done my homework, this is the one for me.
Swappable battery and the fact that KTM has 30 plus years of moto manufacturing experience to count on has me all in. (..unless ALTA starts up again.. or at least starts making new batterys..)

It could probably do more miles if it were ridden more technical style. The low end torque and the small frame make it ideal for crawling around places that’d be harder on the bigger bikes.
That is a very good point that you make, maybe not miles ripping but trials ripping which would be more time invested not miles invested. I would be interested to see how / if the time stretches for more technical stuff like "5 miles of hell" just outside of Moab. I think this guy is in Colorado not too far away... That would be a great test!

It's amazing though that we have got a dirt bike with an electric motor. That fact still is amazing to me.
If they could make the battery last.... 6 hours with yz suspension (my personal preference) that would be SOO much fun.
I'm hoping that the market makes development possible because once we have an electric sports car, electric truck, and electric dirt bike that will work for the average consumer we WILL be living in the future and I will be glad to be a part of it. electric doesn't have to be boring

Wow! That sucks. I don't know if I have ever done that short of ride. By the time I get all my gear on, I want to get AT LEAST 20 miles out of even a week day evening ride. BTW, my Surron is getting 20-30 miles with over 4,000' of climbing.

clutch is completely unnecessary when you have torque at low rpm, raising the motors rpm to then dump the clutch is useless

Hare scrambles here in VA are usually around 28 - 45 miles (getting in 4-5 laps, on courses 7-9 miles in length). So at best, not even half a race, and at worst, 1/4 of a race. I guess someone loaded with money could have 4 or 5 batteries and swap them out every lap.
It's like an RC bike! My average ride is 50 miles or more. I guess if I made my yard in to a track it would be fun:)
It's a great bike for backyard tracks and playing around! At this point, the bike isn't designed to go long distances.

So - ignoring battery life and price - which bike is more fun to ride - the Freeride EXC or the Surron light bee?
@Saul Mayo The KTM is much more fun to ride. It has a lot more power, better suspension, better brakes, 21" front and 18" rear. It rides much more like a full size dirt bike than the Surron Light Bee.
I love the Surron for what it is but if I have the option, I'm riding the Freeride E-XC.
This bike is soooo good it will always work ive word at something called electrocross in amsterdam and riding on these things was a blast! The have like 14 of them!

Man, I like the idea of electric, but i just dont think we are quite there yet. 11 miles, and only 40 min, maybe 50 min on a new battery and maybe 60 min on a 2020. When we get to 3 hours, I'm in. Its gotta make a normal riding day with your buddies, and thats always around 2-4 hours.
Totally. The battery tech needs to improve but we're not too far off from those goals.

How long did it take you to adjust to the throttle?
As of 2019, KTM is not currently leasing batteries in the US. The balance feels really good on the bike, you don't feel the same inertia that an internal combustion motor producers. The throttle was really easy for me to get used to, it has a very smooth linear feel. Thanks for watching!

Haven't ridden the full size bikes myself but personally really enjoy the surron - its small but that has its advantages - its light, and even in my average sized back yard I can build a small tight track with a couple of small jumps and have fun every day after work. A larger bike would be too cumbersome, and any ICE bike would be too loud in suburbia. power wise it could do with a little more umph but then the motor is massively underutilised - I've got a new controller (not installed yet) that should put out ~3x the torque and
~4x the peak power (though getting 4x the power needs a new battery). On small tight stuff and smaller jumps I'd say the surron could keep up, even be faster with a higher end controller and battery, but if you want to go big it'll probably start to struggle given its still using bicycle level components.

Thanks for your note! It's really hard to compare to a 300 because they deliver power in a much different manner. The power curve on the Freeride is very linear and has good acceleration. I wasn't quite wide open in the straights but close. It's no doubt a super fun bike to ride!
Thanks for the awesome videos. What do you think of the ebikes you have tested with regards to extreme Enduro? I'm thinking about sur Ron in particular. I find I am defeated more by the size and weight of my bike than anything else, and feel like I could do better on something between a mountain bike and 300 dirt bike. Any thoughts on that? I'm not sure they would even allow such a bike, but the courses are getting pretty ridiculous, and clearly fill size Enduro bikes are more than most average Joe's can handle.
@Holden2090 Thanks for your support and note. Great question regarding e bikes for extreme enduro. Awesome to hear you're out riding some rough enduro. I also own a KTM 250 XC-W (2T) and ride enduro so I can compare the pros and cons of these specific bikes.
I'm an advocate for electric technology and I know I am here to review and promote electric dirt bikes. I can argue that electric excels in a lot of environments but there are also plenty of environments that ICE bikes are still better than electric. As much as I wish I could say that electric is better for enduro, the bikes are just not quite there yet. I would not recommend replacing your 300 with a Surron for extreme enduro riding. Here is why:
The benefits of the Surron is that it is lightweight and won't wear you out like the weight of your 300 might. On the flip side, the suspension package is not as stout as your 300 so when the trail gets rough and choppy, that is translated from the bike to your body. The 300 is better at soaking up a rough trail.
Ground Clearance: The Surron is a small bike and does not have as much ground clearance as your 300. If you're maneuvering over rock and log obstacles, it is going to get hung up quicker and high-center easier than your 300 will.
Power & Power Delivery: The power of the Surron is not nearly what your 300 has. The 300 will destroy the Surron on hill climbs, hands down. As for power delivery, the 1 speed clutch-less transmission gives superior acceleration most of the time. It is when the going gets real tough and real slow that the linear throttle on the e-bikes become difficult to ride. With an ICE bike and normal clutch, you can feather the clutch and rev the bike to get over obstacles.
Battery range aside, the KTM Freeride E-XC is going to be a superior enduro bike than the Surron. It has a lower seat height than your 300 and has more power and better suspension than the Surron. All of this being said, I would still pick a 300 for extreme enduro!
I'd recommend buying a Surron or Freeride as a home training/turn track/pump track/buff single track bike and keep the 300 for extreme enduro. Have you considered running the KTM Low Seat, lowering the suspension 1" and maybe trying a Rekluse clutch?
@@ElectricCycleRider Thanks so much for the insight! Your points about ground clearance, suspension and power are all things I've considered and think are worth compromising to some degree... Just not sure to the degree a surron would. The point about slow speed technical throttle control is excellent... And definitely a no-compromise factor in my opinion. To clarify, the type of events I am talking about are the likes of Tennessee Knockout, Rev Limiter and Red Bull Override, all of which I have attended recently. These are races where B and even A riders may not finish a single lap due to the severity of the course. I am not strong enough to physically lift a 250lbs machine over my head time after time, but maybe one weighing a 100lbs less, which is essentially what is required in these races unless you have the trials skills of Cody Webb. Like I said, I would be more than willing to lose power, ground clearance and suspension to lose that kind of weight. It does sounds like electric bikes arent quite there yet though. Your suggestions to modify my KTM are very good ones and may prove to help quite a bit. It still will be far too heavy though for this kind of stuff. At my age, I'm not going to get stronger, nor will I become a trials champ! Thanks again for your thoughts. I am planning on adding an electric conversion to one of my mountain bikes, knowing that I will probably have to ride alone if I do it!
It would be interesting to do this every year to see how badly the battery degrades over time. I think these are really cool though.

i just miss my 92 ktm540dxc.it was amazing. an e bike with power like that would be cool but imagine the battery.the 540 was a 2stroke.it used 11 litres an hour in a hare scramble tho. 100mph stock gearing.

My two Alta EXRs are good for 30 minute moto. I did do a 45 minute GP, and that was the absolute limit for my riding speed. For a very fast rider, 30 minutes is about it on a motocross track. For trails, I can ride for hours.

1: they are not more powerful. They exert 100% torque from zero revs and that’s it!
2: when you take into account the entire supply chain and that electricity has to be twice converted from different energy sources as opposed to just once with petrol then it’s not more efficient 3: they are NOT better for the environment. Unless you get your electrons from Nuclear power then the myth that EVs are cleaner is bullshit
4: even today the very best battery hold 1/40th the energy density of petrol.
EVs have been around since the mid 1800’s and physics is the reason why they are not everywhere today.
It’s a far easier engineering problem to remove the CO2 from the exhaust pipe than to re-engineer the power generation/distribution and storage as well as transportation.
EVs will NOT clean up the planet!

I haven't done a test with heavier riders but for what it's worth, I weigh approximately 160 pounds with gear in this video.
Sounds like my kids power wheel and you could put one gallon of gas in your motorcycle and get 4 times as many miles

I just test it in mode 3 on road during 1 hour 6°C, quite often at max power and I make 31 Km 30% Left, so I am not sure that you battery was full

There are 3 settings for power delivery. 3 being fastest and 1 being slowest. I rode it in power mode 2 for this test.
They need to get battery to have more range than that, I think they will eventually, the tech is there - just not quite.

The new battery is 50% better wich means that you can ride like 2hrs, i have to say that this is a enduro bike it is not made to ride all the time on full gas enduro is slow and technicial and if you ride the bike right you can ride 2hrs and 30min wich is not so bad
