With Longmore’s design, it makes me wonder if it was a benevolent Druidic entity / Nature Spirit before becoming possessed / corrupted. Something about the style and serene expression of the three faces before they transform into their demonic forms and show the parasitic flesh within.
No parrying though at least so far. The bosses definitely hit hard (Morr and Rilmozog hit for 100+ for most attacks and Morr can stun you if hit with lightning that usually has you hit with follow up attacks) plus my artifact build gave me 400+ max health, so you can be very fragile for having to go back to the beginning on death.
Haha nice dude. I have been able to do first 2 bosses no damage. Very impressive! Been enjoying the game and excited to see where it goes. The progression is amazing. Definitely hidden behind the wall of a first boss, but practice and persistence will get you there
Yeah, Longmore was surprisingly tougher than expected. Buchalu and Morr were the ones that otherwise felt rough mostly because of those walls Buchalu makes and the fireball spam in Morr's second phase.
Been keeping a cautious eye on this one because of teamsuneat’s last game, Blade Assault, not being properly finished and essentially left for dead for several years even with game breaking bugs and asinine difficulty scaling intact, which is a shame because the core gameplay of that one was the best roguelike I knew but they kept filling it with dumb debuffs like “future power ups are now completely disabled” as early as ten minutes into a run which makes you lose. Doesn’t give me too much hope for this early access if it ends up the same way. I greatly appreciate the effort into this video showcasing this game.
No problem, if it helps folks decide whether it's their kind of game that's great. I'm not too fond of roguelikes myself and feel there's a good bit more polish needed but that's the risk one takes with early access games.
Does someone know when early acces ist over? Or when the Game with all content is gonna launch. Really Had a great time with this awesome Game, but was a bit shocked when i Finished the Last boss and it was over.
More like a roguelike than a metroidvania. If you die you go back to town with levels/gold reset but keep your gear (and your red orb currency can upgrade your potions once the alchemist is unlocked or buy gear in town).
longmore for me keeps killing me with his bs track soul nonesense does it multiple times a fight and will summon them right where im standing so i get stun locked
When I saw that move starting I'd usually go to the ground in the center and try to dash over to one corner (dashing is important to avoid some spawning on you), then dashing or double jumping any that might target you in the corner (they usually don't but it is possible for them to do so).
Yeah, Longmore gave me more trouble than expected too, especially when it'd do the spike tendrils from the ground face as they're pretty fast. Hopefully you're able to get it soon and best of luck!
@@psybander Oh, gotcha. Your progress is saved whenever you quit to menu which will resume at the start of the current map/level. If you die your run is lost. However, if you quit to menu before taking a fatal hit against a boss you can reload and restart the fight (but it seems any potions you used will be gone). So, if I got hit, I'd quit and reload to try again until I learned to beat the fight without taking damage as my focus was doing a boss compilation.

It's like Castlevania with Dead cells gameplay mechanics

A new metrovania game? Looks fun, ty :)
This is a roguelike, not a metroidvania.
@@CrankyTemplar oh god :(
Just wanted to be sure you knew that before going in, especially as it's early access.
@@데썬its both metroid vania and rogue like
I kept thinking Morr was the last boss in early access and kept struggling with him. Oops… seems I need to get good.
Morr gave me so much more trouble than Rilzomog. Best of luck beating him!

Theres a nightmare mode if u go to the statue to start your run thats where u change difficulty to fight harder enemies/get better gear
Metroidvania/Blasphemous with Diablo copy paste UI? I’m interested.

this game like deadcell and skul the slayer

@@CrankyTemplar yeah its possible to do he just spams it and theres no way to know which head will do the attack, its frustrating by design

Where is the full walkthrough?
Probably wouldn't be one for a boss compilation, good sir.
@@CrankyTemplar are you going to do a full run?
I could probably do that but I'll likely be delayed as it's Next Fest this week and I'm also focused on Nine Sols.
Like Blasphemous???
This is a roguelike whereas Blasphemous is a Metroidvania. The skill tree is also more like Diablo 4.
where are saves lying. guys?
Pardon?
@@CrankyTemplarsorry for my english. You said you practiced on bosses. Where are files with saves? How did you do this practice?

interface looks like total sh1t... better play blasphemous or last faith
My thoughts exactly
