Man i love metroidvanias.. im bad at them tho, wish i was good enough to actually complete them most the time heh. My favorites been ender lilies, ive tried a lot of them but am bad at them..
This was my first metroidvania and I am horrible at them too. After 10-12 hours of game time I was doing pretty good and only had trouble with Uptancos and the DLC bosses. Just keep trying! you'll get there eventually

I recommend maybe playing easier metroidvanias first like Timespinner, Steamworld Dig 1 & 2 and Yoku's Island Express
