the nutrients I dont think will be in a form available to the plant but I will do some research and see what the scientific studies have to say 👍

Hi Mate, good vid. A couple of questions regarding PH. I have a small mixed collection of orchids in the south of England all growing in artificial conditions. I water with rainwater off the roof at about 6.5 PH which I can measure with half decent PH meter. I have noticed that a lot of orchid type fertilisers and garden fertilisers when mixed to strenght of 200/300 PPM drop the PH to 5 even down as low as 4! My question is what experience have you had regarding this phenomenon?

I mainly use organic fertilizers so dont get the same problem with it reducing the pH so far . 5 is fair as most orchids dont mind slight acidity but 4 is edging it a bit in my opinion . Perhaps you can add a buffer ? I hope this helps .
