My front door is hunter green but the inside is white as it matches the trim and decor better. Same for the hardware. The hardware indoor is silver so our door handles are silver inside and out.
...I really l o v e the " Bee " Decor ...Bees/ Birds / Butterflies ( and Dragonfly) Decor can look so Cheerful ,without going overboard ..which I totally understood about " you not being a " Yellow Colour " person ! I am the same ... b u t ... certain shades of Yellow ARE so Cheerful, and not overpowering... i love seeing Yellow cployrs if flowers, though...from Marigolds to other flowers that are yellow. In my opinion....the Door Frame will look fine, leaving it white ,to co- ordinate with the Window trim. ( As a former Professional Painter, I've done both. Left the trim, as well as painting the Door Frame . Live with th it for a bit, to see how you like it with the White colour ,....you can always change it . I always suggest n o t using just " any type of priner ", it depends on the surface. ( I also recommend using a Satin finish when possible, ...it will still clean really well but is a " soft- looking finish ). Yes, off - setting the Decal looks wonderful! Your Porch looks so Inviting, So lovely !! ✨️💛🌼🏵🐝
So beautiful, Monica!! I know exactly what you mean about having to have artificial plants in the front. We have vinyl siding and I believe that's why it gets so hot. Perennials do wonderful! We brighten our front porches with artificial ones and that can be so lovely 😍
Everything is beautiful. I use the faux in places also on the front porch. I do have a couple of house plants I bring out, but usually put perennials in the ground lol I love all the vibrant colors outside. ❤
You need to replace the glass bricks with the same type of window glass as your front door. Glass bricks really date the house and they are right in the front.
