I just commented. I live in WI on 80 acres. I have 9 separate flower gardens, ea. in a different theme. I have only perennials in the ground, all my annuals are in containers, old wheeled mop buckets, milk cans, etc.. I collect antique farm items and display them on my property. I live in a 90 yr. old farmhouse. Your porch is amazing, so southern looking.

First time viewer. Love the door in black with the shutters. Your seating spot and the glider are perfect! What a lucky find on the glider cushion. Cushions are outrageous now! I noticed the two white un planted pots on the steps.. Two solar stake lights would look great surrounded by seasonal color in them.

Hello Jenny! I am a subscriber from Arkansas. I am once again enjoying your videos and look forward when you post new ones. The porch looks awesome with all of your hard work and improvements. Everything goes together so well and the potted flowers are beautiful. I also love that your GMom’s hydrangea bush is blooming…so special. I have done some work on my flower beds and front porch as well. I need to clean everything off but usually do this at the end of May or first of June. I want all that pollen to be done with before that major clean up. Thanks again for your video. I enjoyed it!🌷🪻

Watching from Chattanooga. I thought that accent was pretty familiar. 😅 I have a bush just like that from my grandmother’s house too. I think the porch looks great. Maybe the TH-cam algorithm knows that I’ve been talking about updating my porch and it suggested you. I have faded black shutters on my house and I need to figure something out, but I’ve been hesitant because I don’t want to screw it up.

Hi Jenny, I am from central Alabama so I know what you mean about the heat and humidity. Your front porch looks absolutely gorgeous and I especially love the color of the door and shutters. I would probably add another outdoor rug on top of the one you have down. Kirklands is having a huge sale right now and they have some of the larger outdoor rugs. Have you thought about getting just some cheap towels to put on the bottom cushions for the dogs or maybe a darker seat cushion that wouldn’t show the dirt as bad? Just a thought. I love all of your flowers, I love bright colors. I thought you had flowers in the white pots going down the steps? I also love ferns on a front porch. Thanks for all of the inspiration. 😊❤😊🌸🌼🌻🌱

My shutters were Dark Green and I painted them Glossy Black and that was 5 years ago and they have never warped

I love everything you did but I would change out the black pot in front of the door to white to match the other side.
I noticed that too! When my Caladium bulbs come up I’m going to put one of them there I think because it’s in a white pot and I’ll move that one to the back deck! I haven’t gotten around to doing much back there yet! 😅 Thanks so much for watching and I hope you have a great weekend!

Yes girl you'll be so happy to painted your door! We bought our shutters at a local wholesale warehouse so they were fairly inexpensive. I'm hoping this paint will hold up on them.😬

Let me know how your shutters do. All mine are covered but need painting. But I have a tall porch and my first floor shutters get hit by the sun.

You should’ve followed the salesman’s advice about not painting the shutters with that paint! My son in law used a dark blue paint (which wasn’t approved for vinyl) on his siding and it warped and is ruined! Benjamin Moore makes a paint that is specifically formulated
for vinyl. I’m sure Sherwin Williams makes one, too.
They didn’t offer one for me at Sherwin Williams! We were ok with it if we have to get new ones because they looked awful anyway. He told me not to go darker than they were originally and they were very dark new so maybe they’ll hold up! 🤞 Thanks for sharing so everyone will see & make their own decision!
