I cannot stress enough one of the things Jeff is doing here and that is keeping EVERYTHING. Supply chain problems have made some things we used be able to buy, unobtainable. Not to mention some of these little snippets of rubber and gaskets you can recreate if you have a decent pattern. I’ve gotten to the point of keeping everything, nuts,bolts, screws, clips, all the little whizzy wooo bobbles and nibbling pins. You won’t regret it.
@@AutoRestoMod yeah I tore down the 5spd in my sons Datsun, ordered the bearings it needed, and 4mo later I got back to assemble it. It had been scattered on the work bench and shop floor. That was a hoot putting back together, like they say it only goes back together correctly one way.

Just a hand held sharper OLD thing I don't even know the brand) and dressing tool. I have a table mount sharpener, but it is a PITA to get out and set up. About every six months I will do a table sharpen and use the hand held one about every three weeks.
The power steering reservoir on ac cars are remotely mounted so be sure to snag it, along with the hose adapter mounted on top of the pump. Also the ps pump bracket might be different as well.
I've got a '63 Colony Park I've got to pull the heater core out of since it's now leaking. Are all the bolts that hold the internal assembly(except for the cable controls) out on the firewall?
😂. Yeah! I got pretty excited over a box I came across one time in the past. It wasn't a heater box though. Just saying. 😂😂. Yep! Radiator shops were once as plentiful as pull tabs on steel can beverage containers. Plastic has really changed the world. Not always for the better though. IMHO

Don't screw with the heater core, always replace it...not worth the heartache

We have all that but sadly it is on the 289. I don't think that the pump brackets cross over to the 390.

The whole assembly bolts through the firewall. Fresh airvent is bolted to the back of the box.
