Thinking of getting this since I just got new black wheels and it’s very tedious to dry my wheels before water spotting happens. RONA has this for $399 CDN with battery.
How are you getting yours to blow snow without getting shocked? Mine is shocking me repeatedly through the trigger and turbo button when I use it to blow off snow.
I have this blower and have used it once to dry my car. Very effective but I have the 7.5 battery and it gets heavy after a while. I also wished the tube was shorter when drying a vehicle
Thanks for that ONR tip for hard water. I'm also in Alberta and I find the water in yeg has so much calcium. I'm going to try this. Do you know if mckees37 N914 can do the same?
@@DetailProjects with the hard water in AB do you use bottled distilled water for your ONR dilutions? Or you find tap water works fine with what ONR does to it?
I use tap water and let ONR do the work, but using distilled water in a ik spray with ONR is not a bad idea either if you feel more comfortable with that. I have never experienced any issues with regular water though so far.

However, I have never heard of “ONR” and after watching your video, I’m sold on it. Do I just buy a bottle and dilute it with water to use it how you did in the video? If so, can you please provide me a ratio?
There is something defective about this particular model! (EGO650) I just read over 100 reviews of people over the span of a year up until today claiming the same problem and EGO does nothing about it! The fuse inside blows and renders the blower useless! So horrible of a brand! For over a year you have 1/2 of the machines you put out die on people?!?! I've been convinced not to purchase this until I can read recent reviews claiming that it actually works.
That is very interesting to hear. I personally have never had a single issue with my 650 and I have owned it for way over a year now , I have put it through some heavy uses though out Canadian winters and it’s still holding up 👍.

It will shock me if the snow blows back on to the blower, I try to blow the snow along the wind direction
I discovered that simply removing the extension tube works just as good as shortening it.

Use a strap to take up the weight. And get a stubby.

N914 is the same concept as ONR so it should work just fine. Hope it works out for you!

When he first turned it on without turbo was like my ego 530. My 530 can’t get the whole hood dry like the 650
