I have changed the title to include VRAINS because I really do believe the "abnormal weather" prediction is about the data storms we bear witness to in Yugioh VRains! My theory is that yes everything you said is correct, but I think that the writers either A: had planned this. Or B: listened to what darkness said and wrote the sequels based around it.

one point you missed was Zarc having pendulum scales 'Zero' and 'Infinity'. just like the trap cards Darkness used to activate traps between them. That fails more into cool callback territory them anything but it's a connection.
Not only that but the effects are similar too!. The traps activate anything that is located *in between them.* The pendulums summon any monster that have a level that is located *in between the levels of the pendulum monster* and the gates ARE Pendulum.
What if Darkness controled Zarc as a revenge for Judai defeating him and postponinv his plans? Zarc has Supreme King title so it can be assumed that he's next weilder of Gentle Darkness.
Well, then you can say that every single big bad antagonist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Predicted him because he has something in common with the four before him 1. His name is similar to Zorc 2. The ZERO-Infinity thing you mentioned like Nightshroud 3. Like Z-One, well I can't think of anything in particular as I am only in the Junior League Arc at the moment aside from the fact that both have Z for the first initial 4. Like Don 1000, he was sealed away by someone, which he also has in common with Zorc

Dont forget in 5Ds Machine Emperor Wisel using Placido's power caused severe lightning strikes that knocked out Neo Domino's power and created a tornado. Also later Aporia does a even bigger lightning storm.

I might be wrong here, but I believe GX was originally planned to be the last Yugioh series, so it's more likely that the writers went back and looked at Darkness's dialogue to brainstorm new plot points rather then to have planned the next decade of Yugioh anime in advance. Either way the dialogue is surprisingly fitting, especially the part relating to the Numeron Code (almost makes me want to go back and finish watching Zexal, lol).
Yes. If this is not a coincidence (which is quite unprobable), it would more logic they constructed the series aroud darkness's dialogues, rather than having planned the series before.
Way too many God's in the Yu-Gi-Oh series, with differing levels of omnipotence. Also that foreshadowing seems to be pretty good from NightShroud. Shame this wasn't dubbed as the final season, woulda been good.
Héroeus Okay, I haven’t seen Season 4 myself. But in Season 2 we had an older brother put a shock collar on his little brother and duelled each other, shocking each other in the process. And in Season 3 we get close ups of a teenager having a heart attack in the middle of a waste land in a duel, and that other person is joking about that persons heart condition. And in that same Season the main character is offscreen “murdering” people in a different dimension while he is getting power hungry. We were watching the same thing right? 4Kids didn’t even censor out Zane / Kaiser heart close ups. Like geez. In reality 4Kids wanted to start 5Ds early. Check the airing dates for GX for both English and Japanese. They are far away from each other. But the 5Ds airings were not. At least initially.
Why would he? He was beaten by Judai...besides the focus of the move was on Yusei's storyline because the movie is connected to the 5d's storyline as well as fan-service for all of us!

Yugioh Everything What if Judai's mood decides how the timeline will split? I mean, we know that he fused himself with Jubel and also fused dimensions together. What, if his mood decides about luck of others? What if his connection to Jubel and his believe in Yugi made Kaiba lose his corporation, which triggers the event for 5D's. I mean, we haven't seen what happens after the duel with yugi. He may stopped his thoughts about yugi and got his own good future, which would trigger the xyz timeline, or he would be that obsessed of being on a level of yugi, that he however let Kaiba disappear and somebody else takeover the corporation (trigger for 5D's)

This is an interesting theory. I like it. Also even though Darkness predicted that these events would or might happen, Jaden predicted that someone would stop these events from happening.
Who knows? Darkness could return even stronger. He did say at the end of the Duel that as long as darkness exists in the people's hearts, he would be eternal
Perhaps he possessed or influenced Zarc to sick his dragons on humanity, merge with me, and took the name Supreme King as an insult to Jaden for defeating him and ruining his plans
Interesting theory, though at the time of GX's airing, those occurrences mentioned also echoed real world issues, all of which are still going on today. Still, it's nice to think that the writers could have based the main conflicts of the other spinoffs on Darkness's speech to give everything some continuity.
Perhaps later shows were intentionally written to align with Darkness's words? Theories aside, GX had some great foreshadowing in general. Like how Judai not fusing with Ra when he gave his LP to Ra (unlike everyone else) is because he's the Supreme King, and herald of the Gentle Darkness, which is far older and more powerful than the 3 Egyptian gods.

It's no coincidence what if beings like Don Thousand and Zarc are nothing more than manifestations of Darkness. Zorc is said to be one with the essence of darkness is it possible that Darkness(Nightshround) is a manifestation of Zorc as well and that the essence of darkness continues to re form itself?
I always through more that Zarc, and by obvious logic the yu-boys, are reincarnation of Judai. The ability to control and manipulate spirits, as well as understand then(Zarc and at the end Yuya show this ability to some extend). Creating a new summoning method(Contact fusion and Pendulum). Losing control of their darkness and being control by their ancestor. When Zarc takes complete hold of Yuya(When he recreates himself again thanks to Astrograth Magician), his eyes turn gold; Same color that Judai's eye become when he uses, or is controled by his ancestor power(Have in mind that Yuya by the end of the series Yuya used the heavenly Dragons, but by that time they weren't Zarc power, but they belong to his reincarnations and he didn't had a reason to call and master the power of Zarc like Judai had to do because of Yubel and Darkness). Also the heavenly Dragon's colors fit both Neos and Yubel colors, the only ones that could be taken as not completely fitting would be Odd-eyes and Clear wing(The green of his crystals), *BUT* in the 5D movie, when Judai calls upon Yubels power at the beginning of the only and last duel of the movie, they turn green and red instead of the aquamarine and bright brown seen on the GX, so it could that Judai evolve his control of those power changing the effect that they have on him. And if it's like this, then the Heavenly Dragon's would fit as Yubel's reincarnations given that her soul should be connected with Judai's and probably suffer an effect because of being part now of this circle... Yeah, i through this theory to much, but since i saw the awaken mode and Yuya summon the Odd-Eye Rebellion Dragon, which when it appear on the anime in Japanese it was translate(Before the dub) as Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon the Supreme King Black Dragon...
Well Darkness's predictions being wrong makes sense to me since we know Jaden/Judai has the power to change destiny based off of season 2. The same is probably accurate for the other protagonists. So maybe what Darkness predicted was true, but these protagonists were essentially the chosen ones that could change that future. Honestly idk lol. I really like your theory and I want it to be true.
To be fair I love nearly all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Soundtracks whether it's Yusei or Jack's Battle Theme from 5D's, Faith that Carries on or Barian's Counter Attack from ZEXAL or even Pendulum of the Soul from Arc-V but GX's will always be my personal favourite for Impossible Victory and Judai's theme.
It's been so long since I last watched GX and I forgot most of these things, but wow, what a connection! I think abnormal weather could mean Zarc. Now this is going to sound like a nerd, but bear with me XD In Japanese, weather is written as "天気" (Tenki), the "天" (ten) here could refer to heaven. Heaven, heavenly, heavenly dragons, yes, the 4 dimensional dragons. "気" (Ki) means mood, feeling, emotion, etc. Now, what does the "abnormal emotion" remind you of? It's Yuya, and his mood swing between himself and Zarc. Now, remember what divided Zarc into 4 entities, it's the 4 "Natural Energy Cards". Natural = nature = weather, yes, weather again.

Well, hey there! o/ Greetings from a big Yugioh fan from Germany who is back into YGO for some weeks now. I don't quite understand why I almost every time discover gems like this video so damn late. For me right now this video is 6 years old and I watched totally random some time before the other video with the timeline in it so I was some kind of prepared. xD Nevertheless: I am blown away. I suppose the real reasons etc. are only known by the people who brought us the animes and worked with Takahashi-sensei but I freaking LOVE it that there is a possible way (thank you Nightshroud) to bring everything in a somehow logical and understandable order/timeline. I thought only the first three could be somehow linked together. It is a very fascinating thought construct which will only get bigger in the future. :D Keep up the good work! It's so awesome watching this for a third time so long after watching it when it first came out. I have finally finished zexal and almost done with arc v. I actually loved the duel with darkness so much I literally recreated his deck. I have a real life version of his anime deck I made myself. It's pretty awesome.

Looking back I have multiples theories to that whole section: 1. I believe the abnormal weather could be one of two things: A. Bonds Beyond Time. As unnatural occurs when the timeline is being changed. Taking into account the timing of bonds beyond time. He was wearing his backpack and was near London with the same backpack he had in the final episode of GX B. Abnormal weather could’ve been a reference to a poetic/literal storm that occurs in either timeline ((such as Zexal’s C96/5Ds’ reawakening of the Crimson Dragon, in which a storm befell the earth when the Condor appears thanks to Rex Goodwin)). 2. The scenery of the destroyed academy rings two bells: A. What Dylan said ((5Ds mekklord genacide)) B. Zexals invasion of the 7 Barian Lords, there was an orange hued setting when it was Quattro vs Shark, Rio vs Tetsuo, Mr Heartland vs Kite, Gilag vs Roku, etc. then again it was the Barian world being fused with the human world ((which featured the academy Yuma goes to)). 3. Unnatural Occurrences could also be a reference to the amount of unnatural shit that happens in zexal, like being able to reincarnate as a Barian lord with superpowers lol, being able to manually modify your cards ((#Bullshit)), literally ending the duel in one whole turn without playing a single card SAVE a field spell ((#Numeron Network Bullshit)). That’s right I’m calling out Don Thousand vs Mizael. 4. Unstoppable Disputes is accurate although it could also be a reference to The Dark Signers and the Signers, over 5000 years of conflict versus the Nazca Lines lol. 5. Terrorism is prevalent but you wanna know what else is? In Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal, Vector uses his allegiance to Don Thousand to basically further his goal to resurrect don thousand and take all the power to himself. Vector killed nearly ALL of the Barian lords and several humans in the process. But if that’s not convincing then how about in Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. Divine and the Arcana cult, they dug up dirt on Rex Goodwin and kidnapped kids in order to get them to join the cult. They then killed a child and hid all evidence, until one person who sought proof, became a dark signer. The organization sought to overthrow Rex Goodwin and sabotage any efforts to stop them. Divine had every political advantage. 6. What actually bothered and convinced me was that “what if darkness went through time, forward and backward. Maybe he heard about the mekklords because they time travel. He references ((his world)), maybe he went through dimensions and timelines.
Hi Yugioh Everything! So I know you've been having some difficulty locating the existence of Tuners in ZEXAL. I managed to track down the first episode of Yugioh ZEXAL online and if you pause it at 5:51 or 5:52 you can see Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand glide across screen. I enjoy your theories and the Numeron Code connection you made was mind boggling. I do agree that it is strange for Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend to not be seem in the Dojo episode if ZEXAL is on the same timeline as 5Ds so this appearance of something from 5Ds in ZEXAL threw me off just as much as you did.
That's because BBT's future is the same future as the one in 5ds, Zone even mentions paradox and Yusei even recalls having chased him back in time when Paradox is mentioned.
That's totally different...Watch the movie agan in Japanese and if you pay attention the reason why Judai's present was getting in ruins was because Paradox was erasing the previous timeline (Yugi timeline). It's somewhat complicated and illogical but Paradox was destroying the past so the present was starting to notice the effects ;)

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical as hell when I saw the title because this is due mostly to me. Mostly thought Darkness was just an edgy bad guy and most of what he said went over my head. But watching this, you've really opened my eyes to these connections that it's crazy. Even if it is a coincidence, I'd still like to think it was planned to some degree because it just fits so well so really liked the video. It was awesome, can't wait for the next one
About the abnormal weather: they say (5D's Episodes 57-58 I believe) that during the experiments with the Momentum Reactor before the Zero Reverse, there was ABNORMAL WEATHER on Neo Domino and on another place of Earth (the Nazca Lines). So 5D's is referenced twice here I believe.
Also like bakura, he was destined to revive zorc. If zorc had defeated atem then.... Probably nothing of this would have happened. Like he would have defeated Crimson dragon and maybe Don't thousand and Astral world in an instant. Last but not list Zarc. He was just a dude fused with 4 dragons
This theory is brilliant. I doubt that the writers would think that far ahead but still that first card has to be the Numeron Code if the shows are canon to each other. We can just pray that the darkness ends up being the main villain in Arc V / YGO 6. He would fit surprising well into Arc V at the moment.
One thing you gotta have in mind is that Nightshroud quote that "one card created existence" completely contradicts DM and the egyptian duels monsters lore that was previously established. This is something that always bothered me because it's kind of hard for me to believe that one card would create existence itself so Nightshroud's story was always hard for me to buy into! However if we ignore that, this is actually mind blowing ahah Great work bud :)
AtemyYGO I'm actually going to disagree Atemey....Because when we talk continuity ( and we have to because GX is a sequel to DM) you can't contradict the lore that has been previously established just "BECAUSE" was well as the author's original intentions...When we talk continuity we have to agree that Pegasus is the one that created the card game based on the yami no games that ancient people used to play...So Darkness quote about the card doesn't make sense because Pegasus is the one that creates the card...Maybe and this is just a big MAYBE Darkness also predicted that someone would create a game based on the card but even then that's an enourmous plothole and one that I don't like tbh And also you can't believe everything that Darkness claims just as Dylan proved in this video ;)

JuniorRC actually, it's more likely that when he's saying "card" he's not specifically saying Yugioh card but describing the general shape. That and since it "determined the world" I would think it easily could have made the world in a way that Pegasus would inevitably made the game and that the former creatures would have existed and really set the formation for the game. So you can take it in 2 ways: A. The Numeron Code originally is not apart of the Duel Monsters card game or B. That The Numeron Code was literally the first card made for the game and caused the creation of the game.
Yeah I also thought that the card that Darkness refers to could be like a representation of sorts but I still feel that is very convulated and that contradicts the canon lore..because he talks about "the card" but we have to remember that the original duel monsters WEREN'T CARDS but monsters that were used in Dark Games by the egyptians..the card with the monsters came later and that's what Darkness refers to. Honestly this wouldn't bother me if GX was somehow a different dimension of the original events or it's own story but I love that GX is apart of the DM continuity. Also we have to consider that Darkness could be messing with Judai the all time, not to many people consider that...I mean his "game" is to trick people with illusions and mess with their memories so there's also that. I don't consider Zexal and ARC-V apart of the continuity so I'm okay with the Numeron Code on it's own and being it's separate origin.

The last of 'occurences caused by broken humans' goes with akaba leo, all of the agents of illiaster (dark signers/aporia, zone, paradox, antinomy) the barian lords, kaito, and could also been a hint on the knights of hanoi and those fighting against them like playmaker. In some perceptions, the creator of a media, show, book, comic, could be considered the god of that media. So in a way Takahashi is the God of the Yu-Gi-Oh media. Darkness was a herald of the creator of yugioh. You could also convey darkness to Satan. Darkness was wrong in the end, but he was also right in the beginning. He told how and why such things would begin, but his hubris of being a god of darkness, blinded him from accurately seeing the future in it's entirety
Actually Dartz did in his duel against Yugi. He mentions something about other destinies can't move forward because his soul remains part of the world...something along those lines I forget the exact words. xD lol I agree with your theory though that what goes on in each series is what Darkness stated in GX. I hadn't noticed that.
I like this a lot. As far as what I believe is plausible - I really do think the last part of the theory, that Darkness showed Judai the Bad Future in 5Ds, is by a huge margin the most likely simply by virtue of the shows being released sequentially. I'm actually stoked you brought it up because I noticed that too in my watch-through of the first 3 series. It could also be as simple as the 5Ds people visually referencing that scene from GX. There might be one other time when a destroyed city in 5Ds might reference Darkness' future-preview - something forecasting the destruction of the city by the Dark Signers - but I'm not sure if I remember that one correctly. I'd say the first part of the theory is the next most likely, as the idea of a card being the genesis of everything and the universe itself is a fairly unique idea. I don't know if they planned it - it could easily be something the writers of Zexal remembered and wanted to use to a greater extent, so they stuck it in to reference GX and also fleshed it out. The middle bit with the unnatural weather, terrorism, et al makes sense, but I think these are all to some degrees pretty standard plot developments. I've only seen the first 3 series, but hell, I can think of multiple things just from those three that could be described as "unnatural occurences" and "unstoppable disputes" could reference, many of which are from GX itself (everything with the abandoned dorm and the Sacred Beasts, the Light of Destruction, Yubel teleporting the Academy for the former and Atem v Zorc, The Light of Destruction v the Gentle Dark for the latter). I think the trick with those ones is that they're so very generic and common that they're easy to interpret as fitting some aspect of any of the series - it's the same trick so-called psychics use to fool people.
Your theory was great, but I think more that when the writers make a new story they go all okay how can we make this series related to the old ones. So they review the shows and take old ideas they had and place hidden clues of them upon the new show because its all about remembering what was old and seeing it in a new way.
nice video it might be possible that he was just talking about the present world, the one he was dueling with Judai (or Jaden in the dub). But, at the same time, it wouldn't be too far fetch for the writer to work on them in the series that come after that. iirc, in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Muto Yugi was supposed to inherit the Blue-Eyes from his gramp. (it would be cool to see both Yugi and Atem on the stone tablet, and quite literally fulfill the "crossing of souls" that was written on it. on top of that, it would be make the ceremonial duel even more impactful.) But they decided to make Seto the wielder, of it, by making him rip the original Blue-Eyes - to symbolize him erasing that idea (or a possible timeline). Also, visually, Seto would make it better on the tablet, and him replacing Muto Yugi actually made it more interesting and less cliché (while I think Muto Yugi in the ceremonial was cool and fit the lore really well. having Seto wielding Blue-Eyes made this scene less predictable). Ok i was getting ahead of myself here. but I think Yugi Judai is a form of bringing the original idea of Muto Yugi back (they even reused Yugi's first name as Judai's last name). both of them are starting as kids who just love games (in Judai's case, just duels, cuz... Konami) and they both had a bond with dragon girl that transcend time. and eventually reunited. also, Muto Yugi and Yugi Judai had real close encounters a few times in the series. i don't think this is just a coincidence. ofc, my head-canon can only be true if the idea of Yugi wielding Blue-eyes ever existed to begin with. 🤣🤣🤣 but hey, you get the point. planned or not, its possible that the writer actually want to connect the series with these ideas.
Abnormal weather could be also linked to the part in the Bonds Beyond Time Movie. Remember when Pegasus was flying in towards the scene where Yugi, Yusei and Judai were fighting, and the pilot informs Pegasus of Bad Weather? Because, isn't the movie canon?
Thanks for replying! In Yugioh they don't really show many weather/natural disasters and the destruction of the world or the place they are in is usually caused by the humans. Ofc, when Judai, Yugi and Yusei were fighting, Paradox was the one causing the severe weather from his field spell and the battle going on.
Since Paradox is also linked to the Meklord genocide in the future and how you referenced that both images (The one Darkness shows) and then the one in 5d's are similar, this could be the link? I'm not sure, just a theory!
If that happened, what happened to Kingdom Hearts, or Final Fantasy series? He might include some Yu - Gi - Oh! reference or even weapon and character into those game, like Luxord wielding Duel Monster cards for example.

That is definitely the numeron code reference! I think the "un-natural" disasters is a little far fetched. But I think what Leo did could be defined as terrorism , for sure. I think the destroyed world could even possibly be where Reira came from. But it is probably the 5Ds timeline. I really loved this video, Dylan! Great work :D
6:39 My theory is that Nightshroud might be predicting the next YGO series with the "monsters raining down the sky" statement. Nothing really matches up with that statement yet dead on, so it's possible.
Abnormal weather was happening during the Pharaoh's Memories arc which is a cannon story,unlike the doma arc,which was a filler arc.While Zorc was rampaging in the memory world,which was basically the past,the earth was experiencing disasters everywhere.Once the pharaoh won in the past,everything settled in the present.
The one thing that confuses me is that, if arc v is canon, why would we have reincarnations of characters from decades in the past who shouldn't all be in their youth at the same time? I think arc v isn't canon tbh, and the au returning characters makes it hard for me to believe any evidence about that
+BIG BOY51 It is cannon, I'm pretty sure when the world was split into 4 the 4 dimensions took on appearances from diffrent eras in time, so if they were to re fuse the worlds it would go back to the normal world (future of the other shows) and it would fit snugly into the time line. So yes it probably is cannon.
This isn't that confusing, let me explain: Duel Academy in 5DS had a different system of classifying students than the GX one(you can say that 5DS one is different because it isn't the same branch Judai studied, but Johan/Jesse's original duel academy isn't the Judai one but still has Blue/Yellow/Red system, the other oversea students didn't wear the blue/yellor/red uniforms, but Majoume/Chazz from Judai's branch doesn't as well), it evolved and by the time of 5DS, girls wear a red uniform and boys a blue uniform, despite their ranking inside the academy. like Zakharon explained, when the world has split into 4, each dimension took a place and an era related to the summoning method of its dimension, that's Duel academy uses the red/yellow/blue system in Arc-V despite not using it anymore in 5DS, that's why there is the conflict between Commons and Tops in the Synchro Dimension(the specific time that the synchro dimension was based on, Yusei, Crow and Jack were still infantis, the Zarc counterparts weren't born immediately after the world was splitted, because we could see Jack as a child in Arc-V), that's why the XYZ dimension look more futuristic than the others despite not having Real Solid Vision by the time Yusho arrives in it(and that's why Arc-V's heartland isn't more futurisc then already were in Zexal). (The Synchro Dimension look more futuristic than 5DS's Neo Dominio, but there is a chance that due to Roger's arrival in that dimension, Real Solid Vision, as Leo explained in 126, isn't just for duels, so the castle-like buildings and the shiny bridges between them could have been build using Real Solid Vision)
It's impossible to prove that Arc-V (and also zexal) are canon...too many inconsistensies, plotholes and things that just don't make sense...Think of ARC-V as a different dimension with it's own origin story...It's less confusing ;)
what exactly doesnt make sence?(just a question. you will see what i am actually going for in this comment in a minute) well,now the the real deal....if arcv and zexal are canon....and i actually found a logical way for it to be canon,even if its not in the same timeline. canon means that it actually happens like that at some point,right? well,what if zexal is not the same world as the main-yugioh timeline? that would mean all the events co-exist,making everything canon....just not in the same timeline as the main-thing. that would explain nightshroud knowing about the numeron code,even if it doesnt even exist at all in this world. the legendary monsters in the duel-dojo would also make sence,because who knows what happened prior to zexal? exactly nobody at all! so that makes automaticly sence no matter how you look at that thing,because we have nothing that could contradict it at all.and the third thing nightshroud showed jaden is still legit,because it doesnt have anything to do with zexal. arcv can be in the zexal-timeline or in its own world,but it has to take place after 5ds and zexal,because for the dimensions to copy each yugioh(standard = yugioh,syncro = 5ds,xyz = zexal and fusion = gx),the other yugiohs would have to were already a thing. and it being a diffrent world than 5ds would explain why the syncro-dimension doesnt self-destory after 999999999 syncro-summons,because other world,other rules. and it explains why past protagonists didnt really show up since the 5ds-movie,they just dont exist in that world(s)

I think abnormal weather could be either of these two things: A.) When Yugi and Bakura dueled they sent shockwaves around the earth creating storms B.) Yugioh VRAINS, the final villain who (I’ll try not to spoil) was famous for creating data storms and their final battle was covered in it. I know it’s not set in real life, but considering he fact the data storm was something no human was able to create, it could be considered abnormal weather

Legacy of the Duelist during the 5D's campaign, Yusei Fudo and Roman Goodwin talk about how the Ener-D reactor was created etc. One of the lines from Roman Goodwin while explaining the events that went wrong following the creation of the Reactor go as follows; "Every time we conducted a test with the Ener-D Reactor, unusual weather events descended on New Domino City". Meaning Nightshroud most likely referenced to 5D's there.

It's pretty rare for me to hear a theory that makes sense, but thinking about it, I can see how this one came into being and it makes perfect sense, if you ask me! Darkness is indeed a God, which means he will no doubt be omnipresent, meaning that in all likelihood, he isn't so much predicting them, rather recalling events he's already seen, even if most of them haven't actually occurred yet! As for the "Abnormal Weather", I'd say that is most likely Atem's and Bakura's final Duel in the Millennium World Arc!

It may have been a coincidence that future events were foretold by darkness and I really admired that you were able to pick up on these references Dylan. But from my perspective, when I saw the darkness episodes, I merely just thought that what darkness said about abnormal weather, unstoppable disputes, etc. was a reflection of what was occurring in the real world at the time because I do know that America was engaged in the War on Terror with Afghanistan and other middle eastern countries and I guess Japan had its share of terrorism in the past such as in WWII and how there are numerous predicaments occurring in the world on a personal and to a grander scale, national level, which can be epitomized as unstoppable disputes and why darkness thought that his action of subduing humans into his world and depriving them of consciousness was legitimate to relieve them of suffering for all eternity(this for a fact is what makes darkness a really great villain)However, if the creators of this series really intended to foreshadow these events and to explain how they occur in the future without any hints of error or contradiction to the plot, then this is just one amazing show where the writers are capable of elapsing a story without creating error. This is one of the reasons that makes this one of my favorite series of all time.
Abnormal weather could also have been the Arc Cradle or even the Sacred Beasts. Also, I'm still holding to my theory that Nightshroud has ties the Earthbound Immortals, since he says that as long as negative emotions exists, he will as well. That's accentuated by the fact that the Immortals need their hosts to die in hatred or anger. Also, when I heard of the Numeron Code in Arc-V I immediately thought of what Darkness said.

The main characters,Yusei and Jaden most notably,have been able to change the future of their timelines.Sartorias noted that he couldn't predict Jaden's future because he could change it.Even in the duel where Sartorias though he would win,Jaden still managed to defeat him.Yusei believed that humans can change their destiny.So when he found out that their future was filled with destruction and despair,once the Zone arc was over,Yusei did everything he could to ensure that the future Zone was talking about would not happen.So he spend most of his time,working as a scientist on the Ener-D so that another Zero Reverse would not happen.So it is not really confirmed if Yusei succeeded in changing that future,but it was probably avoided so something else would happen instead.Kaiba changed his future in his duel with Ishizu.She saw trough the millennium necklace that he would lose against her when he attack her with obelisk.But he summoned the blue eyes white dragon,thus changing his fate/future and wining the duel.
Could just be pointing to 5ds, Unnatural Occurrences: reactor that devastated Domino City, Unstoppable Disputes: Signers vs Dark Signers, Terrorism: Z-one attack on Yusuke's timeline or the Meklords in general. but the theory is pretty good also
In Zexal Dub when the main protagonist learned of the Numeron Code he summed up the wikipedia stuff, which is what Astral has said, and word for word says, "so one card created the whole universe?" This is almost exactly what was said by Darkness. The Dubs protagonist gave us the nearly same line the Sub gave Darkness.
I know this video is 2 years old and an updated theory has probably been made. But, imma give a shot at answering the "abnormal storms" part that was up in the air at the end of this video. I think that the "storms" are meant to foreshadow the events shown in course of the vrains anime. The reason for this is mainly due to the fact that vrains is the latest anime which would fit the theory that darkness predicts the future of the ygo universe. But, the real reason that it would make sense is the fact that one of key plot element of the series is data storms that can have disastrous effects on the vrains world.
Abnormal Weather probably refers to the final RPG game Atem vs Bakura where he said that natural disasters where destroying the present timeline with the revival of Zorc, and it showed us a clip of Rex Raptor & Weevil trapped on a storm in Domino City
It's quite interesting, I would say. From season three onwards, the writing for GX became really good. If you consider Arc-V, it might even be possible that all the different shows exist next to each other (parallel worlds/universes) instead of in a set order. You third point about how devestated the future world is makes Bonds Beyond Time even more realistic since Paradox literally came from the future Darkness was talking about. GX season three and four actually convinced me that the writers for Yu-Gi-Oh! really care and pay attention to things

I don't know if anyone actually said it but abnormal weather could be a callback to dm. Remember, during the shadow rpg we see the influence it has on the current world, shown by catastrophes and storms, aka abnormal weather.
Abnormal Weather could have been a reference to an event from Duel Monsters. During the memory world arc when Zorc emerges and begins to ravage Egypt, his power bleeds over into the real world, causing storms and tsunamis, in other words "abnormal weather."
The origional series showed abnormal weather a lot. Almost every time something devistating occured there was a scene of thunder and lightening connected to supernatural events thus abnormal because it js not following weather patterns but it could easily refer to data storm of Vrains as well.

one point you missed was Zarc having pendulum scales 'Zero' and 'Infinity'. just like the trap cards Darkness used to activate traps between them. That fails more into cool callback territory them anything but it's a connection.

I might be wrong here, but I believe GX was originally planned to be the last Yugioh series, so it's more likely that the writers went back and looked at Darkness's dialogue to brainstorm new plot points rather then to have planned the next decade of Yugioh anime in advance.
Either way the dialogue is surprisingly fitting, especially the part relating to the Numeron Code (almost makes me want to go back and finish watching Zexal, lol).

Héroeus Okay, I haven’t seen Season 4 myself. But in Season 2 we had an older brother put a shock collar on his little brother and duelled each other, shocking each other in the process. And in Season 3 we get close ups of a teenager having a heart attack in the middle of a waste land in a duel, and that other person is joking about that persons heart condition. And in that same Season the main character is offscreen “murdering” people in a different dimension while he is getting power hungry.
We were watching the same thing right? 4Kids didn’t even censor out Zane / Kaiser heart close ups. Like geez. In reality 4Kids wanted to start 5Ds early. Check the airing dates for GX for both English and Japanese. They are far away from each other. But the 5Ds airings were not. At least initially.

Yugioh Everything What if Judai's mood decides how the timeline will split? I mean, we know that he fused himself with Jubel and also fused dimensions together. What, if his mood decides about luck of others? What if his connection to Jubel and his believe in Yugi made Kaiba lose his corporation, which triggers the event for 5D's. I mean, we haven't seen what happens after the duel with yugi. He may stopped his thoughts about yugi and got his own good future, which would trigger the xyz timeline, or he would be that obsessed of being on a level of yugi, that he however let Kaiba disappear and somebody else takeover the corporation (trigger for 5D's)

Interesting theory, though at the time of GX's airing, those occurrences mentioned also echoed real world issues, all of which are still going on today. Still, it's nice to think that the writers could have based the main conflicts of the other spinoffs on Darkness's speech to give everything some continuity.

Theories aside, GX had some great foreshadowing in general. Like how Judai not fusing with Ra when he gave his LP to Ra (unlike everyone else) is because he's the Supreme King, and herald of the Gentle Darkness, which is far older and more powerful than the 3 Egyptian gods.

I always through more that Zarc, and by obvious logic the yu-boys, are reincarnation of Judai. The ability to control and manipulate spirits, as well as understand then(Zarc and at the end Yuya show this ability to some extend). Creating a new summoning method(Contact fusion and Pendulum). Losing control of their darkness and being control by their ancestor. When Zarc takes complete hold of Yuya(When he recreates himself again thanks to Astrograth Magician), his eyes turn gold; Same color that Judai's eye become when he uses, or is controled by his ancestor power(Have in mind that Yuya by the end of the series Yuya used the heavenly Dragons, but by that time they weren't Zarc power, but they belong to his reincarnations and he didn't had a reason to call and master the power of Zarc like Judai had to do because of Yubel and Darkness).
Also the heavenly Dragon's colors fit both Neos and Yubel colors, the only ones that could be taken as not completely fitting would be Odd-eyes and Clear wing(The green of his crystals), *BUT* in the 5D movie, when Judai calls upon Yubels power at the beginning of the only and last duel of the movie, they turn green and red instead of the aquamarine and bright brown seen on the GX, so it could that Judai evolve his control of those power changing the effect that they have on him. And if it's like this, then the Heavenly Dragon's would fit as Yubel's reincarnations given that her soul should be connected with Judai's and probably suffer an effect because of being part now of this circle... Yeah, i through this theory to much, but since i saw the awaken mode and Yuya summon the Odd-Eye Rebellion Dragon, which when it appear on the anime in Japanese it was translate(Before the dub) as Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon the Supreme King Black Dragon...
Well Darkness's predictions being wrong makes sense to me since we know Jaden/Judai has the power to change destiny based off of season 2. The same is probably accurate for the other protagonists. So maybe what Darkness predicted was true, but these protagonists were essentially the chosen ones that could change that future. Honestly idk lol. I really like your theory and I want it to be true.

To be fair I love nearly all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Soundtracks whether it's Yusei or Jack's Battle Theme from 5D's, Faith that Carries on or Barian's Counter Attack from ZEXAL or even Pendulum of the Soul from Arc-V but GX's will always be my personal favourite for Impossible Victory and Judai's theme.

In Japanese, weather is written as "天気" (Tenki), the "天" (ten) here could refer to heaven. Heaven, heavenly, heavenly dragons, yes, the 4 dimensional dragons. "気" (Ki) means mood, feeling, emotion, etc. Now, what does the "abnormal emotion" remind you of? It's Yuya, and his mood swing between himself and Zarc. Now, remember what divided Zarc into 4 entities, it's the 4 "Natural Energy Cards". Natural = nature = weather, yes, weather again.

Greetings from a big Yugioh fan from Germany who is back into YGO for some weeks now. I don't quite understand why I almost every time discover gems like this video so damn late. For me right now this video is 6 years old and I watched totally random some time before the other video with the timeline in it so I was some kind of prepared. xD
Nevertheless: I am blown away. I suppose the real reasons etc. are only known by the people who brought us the animes and worked with Takahashi-sensei but I freaking LOVE it that there is a possible way (thank you Nightshroud) to bring everything in a somehow logical and understandable order/timeline. I thought only the first three could be somehow linked together.
It is a very fascinating thought construct which will only get bigger in the future. :D

What most likely happened
Yugioh writers: shit we need a plot.
Other writer: we have this villain in GX who made some predictions we can pull from.
Looking back I have multiples theories to that whole section:
1. I believe the abnormal weather could be one of two things:
A. Bonds Beyond Time. As unnatural occurs when the timeline is being changed. Taking into account the timing of bonds beyond time. He was wearing his backpack and was near London with the same backpack he had in the final episode of GX
B. Abnormal weather could’ve been a reference to a poetic/literal storm that occurs in either timeline ((such as Zexal’s C96/5Ds’ reawakening of the Crimson Dragon, in which a storm befell the earth when the Condor appears thanks to Rex Goodwin)).
2. The scenery of the destroyed academy rings two bells:
A. What Dylan said ((5Ds mekklord genacide))
B. Zexals invasion of the 7 Barian Lords, there was an orange hued setting when it was Quattro vs Shark, Rio vs Tetsuo, Mr Heartland vs Kite, Gilag vs Roku, etc. then again it was the Barian world being fused with the human world ((which featured the academy Yuma goes to)).
3. Unnatural Occurrences could also be a reference to the amount of unnatural shit that happens in zexal, like being able to reincarnate as a Barian lord with superpowers lol, being able to manually modify your cards ((#Bullshit)), literally ending the duel in one whole turn without playing a single card SAVE a field spell ((#Numeron Network Bullshit)). That’s right I’m calling out Don Thousand vs Mizael.
4. Unstoppable Disputes is accurate although it could also be a reference to The Dark Signers and the Signers, over 5000 years of conflict versus the Nazca Lines lol.
5. Terrorism is prevalent but you wanna know what else is? In Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal, Vector uses his allegiance to Don Thousand to basically further his goal to resurrect don thousand and take all the power to himself. Vector killed nearly ALL of the Barian lords and several humans in the process. But if that’s not convincing then how about in Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. Divine and the Arcana cult, they dug up dirt on Rex Goodwin and kidnapped kids in order to get them to join the cult. They then killed a child and hid all evidence, until one person who sought proof, became a dark signer. The organization sought to overthrow Rex Goodwin and sabotage any efforts to stop them. Divine had every political advantage.
6. What actually bothered and convinced me was that “what if darkness went through time, forward and backward. Maybe he heard about the mekklords because they time travel. He references ((his world)), maybe he went through dimensions and timelines.

Hi Yugioh Everything! So I know you've been having some difficulty locating the existence of Tuners in ZEXAL. I managed to track down the first episode of Yugioh ZEXAL online and if you pause it at 5:51 or 5:52 you can see Dark Tuner Nightmare Hand glide across screen.
I enjoy your theories and the Numeron Code connection you made was mind boggling. I do agree that it is strange for Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend to not be seem in the Dojo episode if ZEXAL is on the same timeline as 5Ds so this appearance of something from 5Ds in ZEXAL threw me off just as much as you did.
if you look at the ruin world from bonds beyond time the future from that also looks like the ruin world form gx and 5ds
That's because BBT's future is the same future as the one in 5ds, Zone even mentions paradox and Yusei even recalls having chased him back in time when Paradox is mentioned.
That's totally different...Watch the movie agan in Japanese and if you pay attention the reason why Judai's present was getting in ruins was because Paradox was erasing the previous timeline (Yugi timeline).
It's somewhat complicated and illogical but Paradox was destroying the past so the present was starting to notice the effects ;)

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical as hell when I saw the title because this is due mostly to me. Mostly thought Darkness was just an edgy bad guy and most of what he said went over my head. But watching this, you've really opened my eyes to these connections that it's crazy. Even if it is a coincidence, I'd still like to think it was planned to some degree because it just fits so well so really liked the video. It was awesome, can't wait for the next one

About the abnormal weather: they say (5D's Episodes 57-58 I believe) that during the experiments with the Momentum Reactor before the Zero Reverse, there was ABNORMAL WEATHER on Neo Domino and on another place of Earth (the Nazca Lines). So 5D's is referenced twice here I believe.

This theory is brilliant. I doubt that the writers would think that far ahead but still that first card has to be the Numeron Code if the shows are canon to each other. We can just pray that the darkness ends up being the main villain in Arc V / YGO 6. He would fit surprising well into Arc V at the moment.

One thing you gotta have in mind is that Nightshroud quote that "one card created existence" completely contradicts DM and the egyptian duels monsters lore that was previously established.
This is something that always bothered me because it's kind of hard for me to believe that one card would create existence itself so Nightshroud's story was always hard for me to buy into!

AtemyYGO I'm actually going to disagree Atemey....Because when we talk continuity ( and we have to because GX is a sequel to DM) you can't contradict the lore that has been previously established just "BECAUSE" was well as the author's original intentions...When we talk continuity we have to agree that Pegasus is the one that created the card game based on the yami no games that ancient people used to play...So Darkness quote about the card doesn't make sense because Pegasus is the one that creates the card...Maybe and this is just a big MAYBE Darkness also predicted that someone would create a game based on the card but even then that's an enourmous plothole and one that I don't like tbh

JuniorRC actually, it's more likely that when he's saying "card" he's not specifically saying Yugioh card but describing the general shape. That and since it "determined the world" I would think it easily could have made the world in a way that Pegasus would inevitably made the game and that the former creatures would have existed and really set the formation for the game. So you can take it in 2 ways: A. The Numeron Code originally is not apart of the Duel Monsters card game or B. That The Numeron Code was literally the first card made for the game and caused the creation of the game.
Yeah I also thought that the card that Darkness refers to could be like a representation of sorts but I still feel that is very convulated and that contradicts the canon lore..because he talks about "the card" but we have to remember that the original duel monsters WEREN'T CARDS but monsters that were used in Dark Games by the egyptians..the card with the monsters came later and that's what Darkness refers to.
Honestly this wouldn't bother me if GX was somehow a different dimension of the original events or it's own story but I love that GX is apart of the DM continuity.
Also we have to consider that Darkness could be messing with Judai the all time, not to many people consider that...I mean his "game" is to trick people with illusions and mess with their memories so there's also that.
I don't consider Zexal and ARC-V apart of the continuity so I'm okay with the Numeron Code on it's own and being it's separate origin.

The last of 'occurences caused by broken humans' goes with akaba leo, all of the agents of illiaster (dark signers/aporia, zone, paradox, antinomy) the barian lords, kaito, and could also been a hint on the knights of hanoi and those fighting against them like playmaker.
In some perceptions, the creator of a media, show, book, comic, could be considered the god of that media. So in a way Takahashi is the God of the Yu-Gi-Oh media. Darkness was a herald of the creator of yugioh. You could also convey darkness to Satan. Darkness was wrong in the end, but he was also right in the beginning. He told how and why such things would begin, but his hubris of being a god of darkness, blinded him from accurately seeing the future in it's entirety

I like this a lot. As far as what I believe is plausible - I really do think the last part of the theory, that Darkness showed Judai the Bad Future in 5Ds, is by a huge margin the most likely simply by virtue of the shows being released sequentially. I'm actually stoked you brought it up because I noticed that too in my watch-through of the first 3 series. It could also be as simple as the 5Ds people visually referencing that scene from GX. There might be one other time when a destroyed city in 5Ds might reference Darkness' future-preview - something forecasting the destruction of the city by the Dark Signers - but I'm not sure if I remember that one correctly.
I'd say the first part of the theory is the next most likely, as the idea of a card being the genesis of everything and the universe itself is a fairly unique idea. I don't know if they planned it - it could easily be something the writers of Zexal remembered and wanted to use to a greater extent, so they stuck it in to reference GX and also fleshed it out.
The middle bit with the unnatural weather, terrorism, et al makes sense, but I think these are all to some degrees pretty standard plot developments. I've only seen the first 3 series, but hell, I can think of multiple things just from those three that could be described as "unnatural occurences" and "unstoppable disputes" could reference, many of which are from GX itself (everything with the abandoned dorm and the Sacred Beasts, the Light of Destruction, Yubel teleporting the Academy for the former and Atem v Zorc, The Light of Destruction v the Gentle Dark for the latter). I think the trick with those ones is that they're so very generic and common that they're easy to interpret as fitting some aspect of any of the series - it's the same trick so-called psychics use to fool people.
Your theory was great, but I think more that when the writers make a new story they go all okay how can we make this series related to the old ones. So they review the shows and take old ideas they had and place hidden clues of them upon the new show because its all about remembering what was old and seeing it in a new way.

it might be possible that he was just talking about the present world, the one he was dueling with Judai (or Jaden in the dub). But, at the same time, it wouldn't be too far fetch for the writer to work on them in the series that come after that.
iirc, in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Muto Yugi was supposed to inherit the Blue-Eyes from his gramp. (it would be cool to see both Yugi and Atem on the stone tablet, and quite literally fulfill the "crossing of souls" that was written on it. on top of that, it would be make the ceremonial duel even more impactful.) But they decided to make Seto the wielder, of it, by making him rip the original Blue-Eyes - to symbolize him erasing that idea (or a possible timeline). Also, visually, Seto would make it better on the tablet, and him replacing Muto Yugi actually made it more interesting and less cliché (while I think Muto Yugi in the ceremonial was cool and fit the lore really well. having Seto wielding Blue-Eyes made this scene less predictable).
Ok i was getting ahead of myself here. but I think Yugi Judai is a form of bringing the original idea of Muto Yugi back (they even reused Yugi's first name as Judai's last name). both of them are starting as kids who just love games (in Judai's case, just duels, cuz... Konami) and they both had a bond with dragon girl that transcend time. and eventually reunited. also, Muto Yugi and Yugi Judai had real close encounters a few times in the series. i don't think this is just a coincidence.
ofc, my head-canon can only be true if the idea of Yugi wielding Blue-eyes ever existed to begin with. 🤣🤣🤣
but hey, you get the point. planned or not, its possible that the writer actually want to connect the series with these ideas.
Abnormal weather could be also linked to the part in the Bonds Beyond Time Movie. Remember when Pegasus was flying in towards the scene where Yugi, Yusei and Judai were fighting, and the pilot informs Pegasus of Bad Weather? Because, isn't the movie canon?

Ofc, when Judai, Yugi and Yusei were fighting, Paradox was the one causing the severe weather from his field spell and the battle going on.
Since Paradox is also linked to the Meklord genocide in the future and how you referenced that both images (The one Darkness shows) and then the one in 5d's are similar, this could be the link? I'm not sure, just a theory!

Abnormal weather was happening during the Pharaoh's Memories arc which is a cannon story,unlike the doma arc,which was a filler arc.While Zorc was rampaging in the memory world,which was basically the past,the earth was experiencing disasters everywhere.Once the pharaoh won in the past,everything settled in the present.
So let's say this was true... would that mean Arc-V is canon? Though that would still leave a few questions, huh.
The one thing that confuses me is that, if arc v is canon, why would we have reincarnations of characters from decades in the past who shouldn't all be in their youth at the same time? I think arc v isn't canon tbh, and the au returning characters makes it hard for me to believe any evidence about that
+BIG BOY51 It is cannon, I'm pretty sure when the world was split into 4 the 4 dimensions took on appearances from diffrent eras in time, so if they were to re fuse the worlds it would go back to the normal world (future of the other shows) and it would fit snugly into the time line. So yes it probably is cannon.
This isn't that confusing, let me explain: Duel Academy in 5DS had a different system of classifying students than the GX one(you can say that 5DS one is different because it isn't the same branch Judai studied, but Johan/Jesse's original duel academy isn't the Judai one but still has Blue/Yellow/Red system, the other oversea students didn't wear the blue/yellor/red uniforms, but Majoume/Chazz from Judai's branch doesn't as well), it evolved and by the time of 5DS, girls wear a red uniform and boys a blue uniform, despite their ranking inside the academy. like Zakharon explained, when the world has split into 4, each dimension took a place and an era related to the summoning method of its dimension, that's Duel academy uses the red/yellow/blue system in Arc-V despite not using it anymore in 5DS, that's why there is the conflict between Commons and Tops in the Synchro Dimension(the specific time that the synchro dimension was based on, Yusei, Crow and Jack were still infantis, the Zarc counterparts weren't born immediately after the world was splitted, because we could see Jack as a child in Arc-V), that's why the XYZ dimension look more futuristic than the others despite not having Real Solid Vision by the time Yusho arrives in it(and that's why Arc-V's heartland isn't more futurisc then already were in Zexal). (The Synchro Dimension look more futuristic than 5DS's Neo Dominio, but there is a chance that due to Roger's arrival in that dimension, Real Solid Vision, as Leo explained in 126, isn't just for duels, so the castle-like buildings and the shiny bridges between them could have been build using Real Solid Vision)
It's impossible to prove that Arc-V (and also zexal) are canon...too many inconsistensies, plotholes and things that just don't make sense...Think of ARC-V as a different dimension with it's own origin story...It's less confusing ;)

well,now the the real deal....if arcv and zexal are canon....and i actually found a logical way for it to be canon,even if its not in the same timeline. canon means that it actually happens like that at some point,right? well,what if zexal is not the same world as the main-yugioh timeline? that would mean all the events co-exist,making everything canon....just not in the same timeline as the main-thing. that would explain nightshroud knowing about the numeron code,even if it doesnt even exist at all in this world. the legendary monsters in the duel-dojo would also make sence,because who knows what happened prior to zexal? exactly nobody at all! so that makes automaticly sence no matter how you look at that thing,because we have nothing that could contradict it at all.and the third thing nightshroud showed jaden is still legit,because it doesnt have anything to do with zexal. arcv can be in the zexal-timeline or in its own world,but it has to take place after 5ds and zexal,because for the dimensions to copy each yugioh(standard = yugioh,syncro = 5ds,xyz = zexal and fusion = gx),the other yugiohs would have to were already a thing. and it being a diffrent world than 5ds would explain why the syncro-dimension doesnt self-destory after 999999999 syncro-summons,because other world,other rules. and it explains why past protagonists didnt really show up since the 5ds-movie,they just dont exist in that world(s)

You need to add the events of The Dark Side of Dimensions and the specific event in which it split, kaiba dieing isnt on the split node or leaving, which actually kind of happens at the end of dark side of dimensions.

I think abnormal weather could be either of these two things:
A.) When Yugi and Bakura dueled they sent shockwaves around the earth creating storms
B.) Yugioh VRAINS, the final villain who (I’ll try not to spoil) was famous for creating data storms and their final battle was covered in it. I know it’s not set in real life, but considering he fact the data storm was something no human was able to create, it could be considered abnormal weather

The choice of Darkness’ wording for the predictions sounds like how a news reporter would describe the events.
Abnormal weather; In Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist during the 5D's campaign, Yusei Fudo and Roman Goodwin talk about how the Ener-D reactor was created etc. One of the lines from Roman Goodwin while explaining the events that went wrong following the creation of the Reactor go as follows; "Every time we conducted a test with the Ener-D Reactor, unusual weather events descended on New Domino City". Meaning Nightshroud most likely referenced to 5D's there.

It's pretty rare for me to hear a theory that makes sense, but thinking about it, I can see how this one came into being and it makes perfect sense, if you ask me! Darkness is indeed a God, which means he will no doubt be omnipresent, meaning that in all likelihood, he isn't so much predicting them, rather recalling events he's already seen, even if most of them haven't actually occurred yet! As for the "Abnormal Weather", I'd say that is most likely Atem's and Bakura's final Duel in the Millennium World Arc!

It may have been a coincidence that future events were foretold by darkness and I really admired that you were able to pick up on these references Dylan. But from my perspective, when I saw the darkness episodes, I merely just thought that what darkness said about abnormal weather, unstoppable disputes, etc. was a reflection of what was occurring in the real world at the time because I do know that America was engaged in the War on Terror with Afghanistan and other middle eastern countries and I guess Japan had its share of terrorism in the past such as in WWII and how there are numerous predicaments occurring in the world on a personal and to a grander scale, national level, which can be epitomized as unstoppable disputes and why darkness thought that his action of subduing humans into his world and depriving them of consciousness was legitimate to relieve them of suffering for all eternity(this for a fact is what makes darkness a really great villain)However, if the creators of this series really intended to foreshadow these events and to explain how they occur in the future without any hints of error or contradiction to the plot, then this is just one amazing show where the writers are capable of elapsing a story without creating error. This is one of the reasons that makes this one of my favorite series of all time.
Abnormal weather could also have been the Arc Cradle or even the Sacred Beasts.
Also, I'm still holding to my theory that Nightshroud has ties the Earthbound Immortals, since he says that as long as negative emotions exists, he will as well. That's accentuated by the fact that the Immortals need their hosts to die in hatred or anger.
Also, when I heard of the Numeron Code in Arc-V I immediately thought of what Darkness said.

Great theory. I once had a similar theory, except it was more along the lines of Darkness/Nightshroud being directly responsible for things that happened in Arc V. I couldn't really find any solid evidence for it though, so I dropped it.

The main characters,Yusei and Jaden most notably,have been able to change the future of their timelines.Sartorias noted that he couldn't predict Jaden's future because he could change it.Even in the duel where Sartorias though he would win,Jaden still managed to defeat him.Yusei believed that humans can change their destiny.So when he found out that their future was filled with destruction and despair,once the Zone arc was over,Yusei did everything he could to ensure that the future Zone was talking about would not happen.So he spend most of his time,working as a scientist on the Ener-D so that another Zero Reverse would not happen.So it is not really confirmed if Yusei succeeded in changing that future,but it was probably avoided so something else would happen instead.Kaiba changed his future in his duel with Ishizu.She saw trough the millennium necklace that he would lose against her when he attack her with obelisk.But he summoned the blue eyes white dragon,thus changing his fate/future and wining the duel.
Could just be pointing to 5ds, Unnatural Occurrences: reactor that devastated Domino City, Unstoppable Disputes: Signers vs Dark Signers, Terrorism: Z-one attack on Yusuke's timeline or the Meklords in general. but the theory is pretty good also
In Zexal Dub when the main protagonist learned of the Numeron Code he summed up the wikipedia stuff, which is what Astral has said, and word for word says, "so one card created the whole universe?" This is almost exactly what was said by Darkness. The Dubs protagonist gave us the nearly same line the Sub gave Darkness.
I know this video is 2 years old and an updated theory has probably been made. But, imma give a shot at answering the "abnormal storms" part that was up in the air at the end of this video.
I think that the "storms" are meant to foreshadow the events shown in course of the vrains anime. The reason for this is mainly due to the fact that vrains is the latest anime which would fit the theory that darkness predicts the future of the ygo universe. But, the real reason that it would make sense is the fact that one of key plot element of the series is data storms that can have disastrous effects on the vrains world.
Abnormal Weather probably refers to the final RPG game Atem vs Bakura where he said that natural disasters where destroying the present timeline with the revival of Zorc, and it showed us a clip of Rex Raptor & Weevil trapped on a storm in Domino City
It's quite interesting, I would say. From season three onwards, the writing for GX became really good. If you consider Arc-V, it might even be possible that all the different shows exist next to each other (parallel worlds/universes) instead of in a set order. You third point about how devestated the future world is makes Bonds Beyond Time even more realistic since Paradox literally came from the future Darkness was talking about. GX season three and four actually convinced me that the writers for Yu-Gi-Oh! really care and pay attention to things

in the duel u were referring to, Darkness also said that he and his world could return if enough people had darkness in their heart and that is tied into the arc v theory of the reset of the world and that could have happened multiple times as you mentioned in your episode 142 summary video
I don't know if anyone actually said it but abnormal weather could be a callback to dm. Remember, during the shadow rpg we see the influence it has on the current world, shown by catastrophes and storms, aka abnormal weather.
Abnormal Weather could have been a reference to an event from Duel Monsters. During the memory world arc when Zorc emerges and begins to ravage Egypt, his power bleeds over into the real world, causing storms and tsunamis, in other words "abnormal weather."
The origional series showed abnormal weather a lot. Almost every time something devistating occured there was a scene of thunder and lightening connected to supernatural events thus abnormal because it js not following weather patterns but it could easily refer to data storm of Vrains as well.
