I enjoyed this more than Bomberman Generations because it doesn’t have any of the combat in it. I’m not a big fan of these Bomberman games though and much prefer the oldschool bomberman that we all know. Fortunately, this game does have the classic bomberman which can be played single player and also multiplayer under the ‘Battle Mode’ selection in the main menu, although I don’t show it in this video. If you played many Bomberman titles like me, you should know that there’s usually a special ending for getting all collectibles.. there’s a bunch in this game but you only need the lightning cards to get the special boss stage. The lightning cards require you to kill some of the bosses under special conditions (throwing a big bomb and killing under three minutes for example), which are all easy. The game itself is pretty easy and fun and I never died once except for a boss stage (even during my practice run). Oh and there are cutscenes from the Bomberman Jetters series which I was able to keep in because there’s no copyright
Yeah I should clarify that a bit more.. the Generations game has ‘pets’ (however you call them) just like Jetters, but in Generations you have to train your pets to succeed in battles with other pets. It’s a bit like Pokemon battles I suppose lol

Mermaid Bomber is my favorite bomberman (no idea why) and my favorite world is Green World. Great play through and the cutscenes were edited awesomely!
I still have my gamecube minus either the power or display cable but over the many times Ive moved, totally misplaced all my GC games including Jetters, sad panda.

(Sorry for bad English)

I was disappointed with Generations because it wasn't as cool as Tournament. But watching other games, like this one, it's really clear that generation is simply the second best bomberman adventure ever. It has some good boss designs, cool music and just overall decent to good gameplay. Now, I just wish we had an HD remake of Tournament (generations doesn't needs it's good enough as it is, especially emulated).

Anyone who has watched the Bomberman Jetters anime can confirm what an abomination this GC game based off it is... this is just Bomberman Generation with Jetters characters in it *only*, and nothing more.

Jetters levels are way too long. I know the sixth generation wanted you to get the most mileage out of a game, but man 6th generation did some weird stuff to vidya

It's weird how they went through the effort of localizing this game despite never doing so for the anime itself.
They probably could find a studio who was interested, which would explain the generic music in the intro.
Which is kinda unfortunate, since the anime was actually very solid.

I was disappointed with Generations because it wasn't as cool as Tournament. But watching other games, like this one, it's really clear that generation is simply the second best bomberman adventure ever. It has some good boss designs, cool music and just overall decent to good gameplay.
Now, I just wish we had an HD remake of Tournament (generations doesn't needs it's good enough as it is, especially emulated).
