18v cordless drill would speed that up and be useful as a cordless drill

Why wind by hand...a cordless drill and drill steady extension raises and lowers the steadys in seconds. Just keep the drill and steady in an external locker ready for action.

This is NOT the way to level!! First level with the nose wheel and than sideways with a leveler or a hydraulic crick. The way they do it gives a lot of friction on the caravan just supporting and twisting on the corner steady's.
