- Full review and tour of the 2019 Audi Q3 S Line! This model year represents the newest generation of the Q3, and comes with a ton of standard features and tech borrowed from more expensive models in the Audi lineup.
The 2019 Q3 interior features an MMI infotainment screen with touch response feedback and navigation, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The hi-res screens continue with the optional 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, which Audi refers to as the 'Virtual Cockpit'. There's also an 8-way power driver's seat in leather, a standard panoramic sunroof, and wood trim.
Under the hood, Audi equipped the Q3 with a 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. It produces 228 horsepower for the AWD system, which helps send the car 0-60 in around 7 seconds. On the exterior, the Q3 also has high-beam assist headlamps, 18 or 19-inch wheels, and a new matte black rear diffuser design.

I just bought a 2016 Audi Q3. It's my 4th day driving it. I can say definitively this SUV is NOT slow. I also own a 2007 Toyota Tundra with 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. While the Q3 power doesn't even compare with the Tundra it would be very close in a 0-60 type drag race because of the size differences. The Tundra is powerful but heavy. The Q3 is less powerful but much lighter and more aerodynamic. The Q3 in sport mode is so fast. Not Trackhawk fast, but still. Such a fun car to drive.
Congrats on the purchase! Compared to a truck it might not seem slow, but compared to Audi's other models (Q8, Etron), it's not as fast as I was expecting.

What did you think of the turbo lag? When you step on the gas from a stopped position, did you get that instant acceleration? I don't think so. I test drove it as well, and the turbo lag is a serious problem.
Does this car have the optional navigation package with the bigger infotainment screen and virtual cockpit gauge cluster? I’m wondering because I want to know if it’s possible to get that map view in the gauge cluster if haven’t payed extra for that package. Thanks!

My first time watching one of your reviews. The hard seat back is on many Audi's but it comes in handy when kids kick the seats. My grandson does in my Q7 and I'm glad it's not soft leather. Also, the fob is actually an old style because the base car in Europe uses the key instead of push start. Other than that, your review was good.
In the UK virtually no options are available on any model. even the cockpit plus 12.3 inch screen is only standard on edition 1 and vorsprung models only. Silly really
The push button start WAS an option in the UK along with many other options like the 12.3 inch cockpit plus when introduced late 2018 but isn't any longer. Its only standard on edition 1 and vorsprung models now which is extremely odd. I know as I've ordered an s line 150 with the comfort and sound pack extended multi ambient colour lighting different wheels and flat bottomed steering wheel. Turbo blue. so who cares about the fact it uses a key....no keyless entry key cloning here then thankfully as its on the up. 20 regd March here we come. Cars currently on quality control on my tracking app
Is it normal in USA for the orange blinkers in the headlights? We don’t have that in the UK

I'm driving the Q5 now but will be giving it to my wife in the spring. I really want an S5 but I'm enjoying the entry/exit of the SUV (Yes, I'm getting old but I do still drive a Miata on the weekends). Maybe the SQ3 will do it for me...
its strange to call this entry level when the center console screen and resolution of Q3 is so much better and updated than the q5, especially the q3 design language looks so much like the q8, i would rather buy a q3 than a q5 just for updated tech alone.
It's a Q3, not a Q8 or other top level Audi. Why would you expect high qual leather or material?!? Not gonna happen...

The key is from 1990s, our 1999 golf had the same key and our 2015 q3 has it as well. They should have updated that as well, pity.
In other models I've reviewed, it's been a very small fob with super soft plastic. All the other keys seem to be scratched before they even leave the delivery truck, so I guess the Q3 has had a better design all along!
Needs a colour that pops though, makes a huge difference and white isn’t doing this car any favours

High beam assist isn’t too brand new. My 2016 Mazda 3 has it.
I don’t see why you keep comparing it to the Q8 and Etron, those vehicles are in a completely different class and price point, seems kind of pointless comparing them. If they made it more like the Q8 everyone would just buy the cheaper Q3

45k and no ventilated seats. Fail.
50k for top of the line and they give you a low 228 hp engine. The acura rdx aspec is a better deal.

My wife looked at this Q3 and it's total crap and doesn't even compare to luxury sub-compact SUV's in the same class. The wife brought the New Lincoln Corsair instead, because it was much more luxurious with a more powerful engine.
Look at the Range Rover Evoque vs Volvo XC 40 vs Audi Q3 video and see how bad this car is for yourself.

Huge copycat of Mercedes GLC 4 matic sport 2.2 diesel. Hateful huge front grill treatment and auto dimming headlights are a curse on a twisting road when you don’t have control of dipping. Touch screens are dangerous when driving- Mercedes controlled via a rotary control on the centre dash - advice go look at the Mercedes 👍👍
Bad review. You barely drove this car for less than a minute. Spent way too much time taking about exterior design elements and your preferences. Look at other reviewers. Do better.
