Love this build, and your channel ! Now I want to do the same only stock. Watch your channel all the time. You do beautiful work! As you say keep modeling!!!
WOW - you have noticed and highlighted the wonderful flowing lines of this car. 1955 Ford wagon was my first car - I was 11. It was 1957. Single mom and a little brother meant that I cared for the car. It leaked AND burned oil - TWO quarts a day. We had it for 10 entire months. Oops - memory leak. This car, the one you built, is quite the take on Two Tone Paint for '56 Fords - I like it. Thanks again for sharing all your artistry.
G'day mate I wonted to let you know that your not just helping out Yong one's with your u tub videos. I'm a 46 years old that has mental illness with ptsd your videos got me back into modelling again. Keeps the mind off things. PS...thank you...
Awesome build. Great color choices. It really looks period correct for the ‘60’s. You did a wonderful job with the kit. Great shelf model, or an entry into a box stock category in a model show. Thanks for sharing.
Great build and back story Chris! I really dig your color choices, 😍 the look!! This car looks just like the hot rods that plowed the streets and local drag strips during the 60's!!!
That's a good looking build there Chris I love the colors and yes that is one nice thing about those three in one kits you can mix and match and come up with your own great creation 👍👍
One of the things I like about your builds, it gives me ideas. I was planning a dragstrip diorama for the Pepper Shaker and this kit as a gasser would be a good challenging candidate. When I seen separate doors I immediately thought gaps and loose sagging doors but they look like they fit good and look tight.
Wow, what an awesome build. That color combo is killer and the dog dish hub caps on the steelies were a great choice. I'd like to see this car and your purple 56’ chevy build lined up for a race. Thank you for your great content another awesome episode thank you.
Super nice build Chris. Nice color combo. Reminds me of the cars that ruled the streets when I saw a kid back in the sixties. I always enjoy the AMT 3 in 1 kits. I usually have very little spare time so I tune into your channel when I can. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
This kit has been released so many times already, but it's still cool. I always found the rear end of that car odd, which is why I like the '57 a little bit more. I have two previous releases of it. Hope one of them has those dog dishes in the box. I'm gonna make one stock, thinking of a white/cream with orange two tone like they made back in those days and the other one will be modded. but I don't know how I'll do it yet.
Nice preview and cool build up!! Great car to put a 427 or 427 SOHC engine between the fenders!! 😎 Wish AMT would include more decals for the engine bay and interior, ( seats and door panels) Build on!! Try wooden clothes pins at the 99¢, $1.25 Tree or borrow some from your wife. 😁
This color reminds me of a Testors copper metallic I used on an AMT '55 Nomad many years ago. I brush painted it but for whatever reason that paint never fully dried. But it's a nice color choice and as always an interesting back story to the build.
Every camera angle is exactly the same as it has been for years. I added filming the assembly process over a year ago and I film that from above so that I can work without a camera in front of me for the assembly. If you don't like that angle folks just skip that section. Thanks!
It's hard to see, has Round 2 fix the grille? When I built this kit 20 years ago, there was a prominent cut out of the top of the grille. It was chromed over, like it was done to the mold.
"truth in advertising" got rid of the old artwork on toys. what you thought at the beginning was a basic dashboard, is a filler panel for the engine compartment, it goes between the headlights underneath the hood.
I like this concept and colors. A nice mix of stock custom and race. I really like this one
I remember buying this kit back in the early 70s at Woolworth for 3.98
👍 Build

Fantastic build as always. Love the 50s, and 60s cars!
I LOVE this build. One of your coolest EVER. It's just got "The look". AWESOME.
The orange and black combination looks so cool!!!

Thanks and take care!
The opening doors is a nice option! Nice kit,
Great color, and great build. Looks very sharp.
I didn't think I was going to like this color combo, but it came out seriously cool. The clearcoat really made that paint pop.
That metallic candy corn paint looks beautiful. Definitely gotta track that down and see what other options there are.
That's the way forward Chris....make life uncertain, terrible at the lights for the boyracers and their modern contraptions! 😉😆😂😎
Another great job Mr steady hand
I love your enthusiasm!! This is one of my all time favorite kits to build. Good stuff !
Thanks!

Very cool Chris. Love the colour. Thanks for sharing. Happy days and model on! 😎🇨🇦
Nice job Chris!!!!
I was fortunate to snag the first issue of this kit from 1968? Still sealed in the box off of ebay a while back for a steal of a price.
You are so good at theae
I remember doing that kit many many years ago in a galaxy far far away!!! Great looking build Sir!!
LOVE that paint job Chris!!!!!
Great build and back story Chris! I really dig your color choices, 😍 the look!! This car looks just like the hot rods that plowed the streets and local drag strips during the 60's!!!
Love the build, please do some military tanks etc. Thanks.
Love these! Your videos got me back into car modeling.
Great to hear!
@@hpiguy Hi Chris, what glue are you using with the brush, bottle cap? Appears to cure quickly!!
I like it. Street and strip!
“The hell with the passenger. They will just have to hang on and pray to Jesus.”. 😂
Awesome choice of colors! Keep up the great work, Chris!
Didn't see any flash on this kit. They did a nice job a cleaning this mold up.
Nice job
sharp build
Keep em coming
That's a good looking build there Chris I love the colors and yes that is one nice thing about those three in one kits you can mix and match and come up with your own great creation 👍👍
As always, another great build/review! Lots of ideas percolating. 🤔
Great looking build.
Very cool Holmes, lol, seriously though, absolutely fantastic job as always! Keep on rocking 🤘 brother!
Looks cool… add white front fender from kissing a guard rail. Da rad rod.
Cool car😊❤👍
Looks Great!

I think your colour combo looks awesome, as a whole the kit looks great 👍🇦🇺
You're not painting the transmission silver? 😳 But you like that part.

Interesting!
Love it had the same model as a kid but it was just the stock one from amt
Looks awesome!!
👍👍👍👍
I enjoy all your videos but I’m not gonna lie I liked your old camera angle better lol

YEAH WHAT HE SAID ‼️😤😤
Mon avis pour faire avancer mais pas assez de soins ...A+
The clear roof panel, and that trim, is not a custom thing though. It's a factory option. The Crown Victoria. It was a green tinted plexiglass option
I have the same kit .but it's never been finished.still in box.it was primarily flat black 5 years ago and never finished.
I Love Mr Chris all your models u bring it Buddy U sell your work ????

C😎😎😎😎😎 LLL Stuff Bro, GBA 👍👍 Gary.
Awesome video what an amazing job on this model. What did you use to glue windows in?
K on
Very clean....mean look is right. Do you brush your future or spray?
I brush it on, search the channel home page for Future, I've done it on camera dozens of times. :)
😎👍 Awesome Build!! I would love to replicate the color on my Vick!!! What was the name brand on that candy corn color you used???
do you do model rally cars like from tamiya and others?
"truth in advertising" got rid of the old artwork on toys.
what you thought at the beginning was a basic dashboard, is a filler panel for the engine compartment, it goes between the headlights underneath the hood.
Chris - could you tell us the glue you are using? Thanks.
Yup, I've talked about it a few times but I personally prefer Plastruct Bondene, Modelroundup sells it. Thanks!
On the body you should of painted the door jams same as the body couler I guess it was a cheap respray
I should do as I please when I make my models, and you should build your models the way you want to as well.
Thanks and have a great day.
@@hpiguy yes I agree and have fun doing it thank you
Headlamp Bezel lol
